Throughout the entire time that my geriatric care client stayed at Cardinal Courts we've been nothing but pleased with the excellent care he received! All of the staff, front desk receptionist and the administrator were welcoming and tuned in to my client's care needs. Would recommend this facility to my families in the future!

Cardinal Court has been the most amazing facility in so many aspects! I am so happy that my grandma lives here, being able to see how much she laughs and smiles just being here. This is an amazing home for her! And extremely grateful! Thank you everyone!

It was a very difficult process to find a care facility for my husband. He had Early Onset Alzheimer's and declined rapidly. The entire staff helped Stuart and our family accept each step with peace. As his journey came to an end the care was kind an gentle. I am so glad that I had chosen Cardinal Court. If this helps someone make this difficult decision than I am grateful

My dad has been at Cardinal Court for 2 months now. The one thing I have learned is that no assisted living place is going to be perfect. With that being said, Cardinal Court has addressed all issues we have brought to them and have stayed in communication with us. When I visit, the caregivers always check in with me to see how I am doing through this difficult transition. I’m happy with the decision of placing my father here.

As an employees of Cardinal Court I can say truly enjoy my job I’ve worked many nursing jobs and this is the first place where every resident is treated just like family by every staff member!!! Every person there cares and is invested in these wonderful residents lives. The residents have become my family and they always put a smile on my face. I would recommend cardinal Court for my own family and friends without hesitation .

I sat around the trivia table with my grandmother on her 87th birthday last night. Previously, she made me promise I would help to keep her in her home until she died - for this reason, it was very hard for me to accept her having to move into a memory care facility. The fact her dementia has eased her sorrow over lost loved ones and the caring teamwork at Cardinal Court have been instrumental in helping me to cope with her staying so far away. I watched the staff calmly redirect and listen to residents’ concerns as appropriate for their level of functioning. I watched them use touch and hugs in their approach and treat them like I would my own family members. They supported me in learning how I could help my grandmother and encouraged me to share more about her upbringing, her work, and family life so that they could better calm her restless tendencies. I felt welcome and unrushed during my visit - if I lived closer, I’d come back more often just to hang out. I felt empowered to help by talking with the staff and residents that make up their community there – that’s what I really noticed – those residents in the earlier stages of memory loss have patience and care for those in the later stages (and the staff modeled that behavior expertly). My drive home was consumed with thoughts of compassion, dignity, acceptance, and identity that I’m sure will inform every interaction I have moving forward in my own nursing career. Thank you for being candid and present and for what you do each day for everyone – not just my Grandma!

In 4 months I witnessed the following. I was mostly visiting after 4 pm but always early on weekends. Visited patient 6 days a week. I took pictures to back up my claims. I have pictures for all these claims. Same resident wearing the same clothes for 5 days. Residence still hungry and refused more food. Meals are small servings. Noticed at least two days a week hotdog was for dinner. Not what the menu said was to be served. Residence unshowered, room left disarray for days and bed linens not changed for over 6 weeks. Residence unshowered for weeks yes "weeks". Caregivers outside smoking ever half hour on a non smoking facility. Caregivers sitting around and ignoring the residence needs. They discontinue a residence meds without notifying you. Then say the practitioner said the meds are no longer working. I only found out because I would go and get me resident ready for bed and ensue this resident was getting the meds they needed. When they had a stop order I questioned it and was told the practitioner " felt" they were no longer helping the resident. Caregivers not checking on residents for over an half hour after the call button was pushed. Caregiver not attempting to wake a resident after they have slept thru breakfast and lunch. Spa room is just a quiet room. No spa. Caregivers and facility director lying when you question them why a resident isn't being taken care of. They give you an inexcusable excuse for everything you question. Just beware because this facility needs a restructing of the people running it. They lie and point fingers a lot. Beautiful facility but not the people running it. My advise to Cardinal Court is start restructuring from the top ALL the way down. My advise to anyone looking at this facility is be very active with busing and you will see for yourself the neglect of the residents. Me I rather have a not so nice looking faculty but top of the line care givers. My resident was moved after 4 months and now is at a faculty that doesn't have all the fluff but A plus caregivers. Be alert and beware

Great Holliday's time in my trip across beautiful place!
September 2021
My husband joined the Cardinal Courts family in March 2021. The decision had been overdue but we waited until shots were being administered and we could visit with him. Holly made our move-in seamless and everything went incredibly smoothly. Quent adjusted quickly to his new environment mostly due to everyone's upbeat demeanor and friendly attitude. Kim and Holly were both there to answer our ongoing questions and to offer assurances when needed. I was disappointed that there were not as many activities as mentioned in their portfolio to keep the residence occupied. Things did improve in this area after Patti was hired and while she does her best to involve all residents Quent chooses not to participate and so in reality that is not really their fault but I do wish there was a way for more engagement. Scott the medical supervisor has always made time and been responsive to any questions and with suggestions to resolve issues that have arisen with Quent. Megan has been there the longest and is most familiar with Quent. She is absolutely amazing with him and all of her other residents. It is very obvious that she loves what she does which I am very thankful for. I know she and all of the other caregivers are under an incredible amount of stress, quite honestly I don't know how they do it, but I am thankful and truly blessed that they do. Are things perfect? No. We have lost multiple pairs of shoes multiple times. Meaning they have been lost and some have been found again and again. Is this because Quent removes them? Possibly, but it doesn't take away the frustration. Clothes have gone missing which I have learned is a fact of life at all care facilities. This is my third loved one that I have cared for with Alzheimer's. We try to do our best at home and sometimes that is enough. When it's not, and you need to find a safe, loving, caring home for your family member with memory loss I can assure you that Cardinal Court will meet those needs.

At a time with so many uncertainties, the staff at Cardinal Court has been absolutely amazing. Being in a situation where our loved one needed a place to go, they were there every step of the way from the first phone call to now when we are unable to visit our loved one. The communication is tremendous from them and their genuine spirits help to put our minds at ease. Ive spent time working for traditional nursing homes and assisted living. After being worn down by poor business models and a complete lack of education among the staff, I thought my time in long term care was over. That is, until I found my place at Cardinal Court. From in depth staff training to family education and support groups, JEA senior living puts great emphasis on well rounded community education and support. The Meaningful Moments program is unlike any philosophy I have seen in long term care. Cardinal Court has done right by the memory care community and their families. It is my pride and honor to work here.

Caring Transitions of Cleveland Western Suburbs just enjoyed a great breakfast and tour of the Cardinal Court community. Very friendly, knowledgeable and outstanding staff.
April 2018
My loved one has been at Cardinal Court for the last month and I cannot sing their praises any louder. The positive changes that have taken place in his day to day quality of life is immeasurable from his previous care facility. The staff is genuinely friendly to every person who walks through the door. The facilities have been well thought out in the planning stages and it is beautiful throughout and has a very homey feel. They have activities to keep the residents minds and bodies active (at their own level). Every person from the nursing, administration, activities, dining and laundry departments are kind and friendly not only to the residents but to their families as well. I know that my loved one is being cared for by kind and caring individuals. The people who work here treat my loved one as I feel they would treat their own father or grandfather. I truly do not have one negative thing to say about Cardinal Court. If you have a loved one that needs memory care, do not hesitate to contact Cardinal Court in Strongsville.
