My precious family member with dementia initially received wonderful care here years ago, but the environment of care has unfortunately deteriorated. We moved her to another facility in Cave Spring and we are so grateful we did. Would not recommended this facility, at this time.

My mother is here for her dementia and memory care. Myself, my family, and most importantly my Mother is so happy with her care at Carrington Cottage Memory Care. Cindy, the activity director there is an absolute blessing. All of the facility management and staff have all been so friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a nice place that you can feel comfortable entrusting your loved one to. Don't believe all of the negative reviews, I didn't and it paid off ! Thank you Halee,Sam, Cindy and all of the lovely staff at Carrington.

Thrilled to be a part of this team! The community is warm and inviting. The Executive Director has done a great job these past few years. Perfect location in Daleville and so convenient to everything! The residents are happy and always smiling and staying busy with activities. Memory care can be a challenge at times, but if you are in need of a community that genuinely cares and does a great job - THIS IS THE ONE!

When I first came to work at Carrington Cottage 2 years ago, there was a lot of work to be done. Staffing had to be weeded out and a lot of work to get us in compliance and build moral. Carrington needed to become a home for the residents. We have worked extremely hard and now have earned a 2 year state license for going above and beyond regulations. We have longevity with our team and are blessed to have a hard working amazing group that loves the residents they care for. I love working for this company and with the group of people that work here. It is a big family. The residents, families and staff have such a special bond. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.

Carrington Cottage is an amazing place to provide care for your loved ones. I have been working as the receptionist for the past year and a half and have seen how the staff interacts with the residents. I can assure you that they are well equipped to handle any situation, especially in the case of dementia. They care for their residents like their own family and they will always be cared for in the proper manner. The building is also fairly new and it has wonderful amenities, spacious rooms, and terrific common areas. They offer both semi-private and private rooms, depending on the preferences and needs of the residents. Each room has its own bathroom, with a shower, and a double sized closet. The common areas each have a fireplace, plenty of seating, and a TV for the residents to enjoy their favorite shows. The residents also enjoy playing bingo, enjoying milkshake & manicure Monday's, and the many more activities provided by our full-time activities director. There is never a dull moment at the Cottages and whether your loved one enjoys spending time playing games, hanging out with friends, or just relaxing watching a good show, they have the opportunity to do what they please. Carrington Cottage is a great place for your loved one if you are looking for a community that cares about their residents!

Tricia was very knowledgeable about the facility and gave a tour of everything. Its clean and organized. She was very engaged with the residents and they were all happy to see her when she stopped to chat and check on everyone.

I have the pleasure to say that I have been working for CC since July! Since working here, I have learned so much about memory care. I have had the pleasure of meeting amazing people, from our residents, and their visitors to my co-workers. If I have any questions, my co-workers will do their best to answer. This goes for ALL staff. Which says a lot, must work places that is not the case. As no work place is perfect, I can say that I have worked in far far worse. The facility is clean, and kept up with well. The only complaint I could even utter is when people park in handicap when they are not.

I have been working at Carrington Cottage Memory Care for over a year. The residents are wonderful. I love coming into work every day. I have always wanted to work in a place where I looked forward to getting up and going to work and this is it. I feel very supported by my corporate and regional leaders. The administrator of this community is terrific to work with. I couldnt ask for a better position than this one. I hope to continue working here for many years to come.

Where to begin...I certainly want to do Carrington Cottage Memory Care Center the justice that it deserves. Prior to placing my Mom at Carrington my experience with another facility was not good , leaving me skeptical of any facility. Upon arriving I immediately noticed how welcoming and clean this facility was. The staff was very friendly and informative. I can honestly say from day one of my Mom being there has been a very pleasant experience...even while dealing with Covid-19. The staff is very engaging and truly care about the residents, they go above and beyond their job description. To keep the families connected with their loved ones pictures are posted on their Facebook page also through video chat and door visits. The elderly is a group that seems to be forgotten in todays society instead of being treated as they deserve, with dignity and respect but they receive that at Carrington .Knowing that my Mom is being cared for gives me such piece of mind and I am so thankful. I feel like the staff is part of my family. If you are looking for an assisted living-memory care facility please visit Carrington Cottage Memory Care Facility before making your decision. They truly are a Godsend . The staff employed now is exceptional and I cant give them enough praise .

Carrington cottage is a beautiful community serving amazing residents living with Alzheimers or dementia. The care team is compassionate and patient when it comes to meeting any need. Alisha does a fantastic job creating therapeutic programming throughout the day to stimulate residents. The outdoor patio with mountain views is stunning. Spacious suites with full shower bathrooms allow residents to live comfortably in their space. Memory care can be really expensive but this community offers all inclusive pricing to help families budget. Companion suites are also an option.

I have worked at this facility for 2+ years serving as the receptionist. Before starting here my knowledge of memory care was slim to none, now I have endless amounts of information about Alzheimers and Dementia and how to care for those individuals affected. The residents and their families have become well acquainted with everyone (staff, other residents-families) which makes the Cottages feel that much more like home. I enjoy my job and enjoy working here with the staff and with our residents.

I greatly appreciated the staff helping to keep my husband as independent as possible. They made sure he kept walking and attended the dining room for his meals. He always looked forward to interacting with all the other residents and the staff.
