My experience with desert hills would be from years of visiting the facility as a local hospice/home health LVN. I feel like the facility has maintained a lot of consistency over the years in providing care for folks with memory challenges. I am now a local hospice liaison and had the chance to view the living spaces after the upgrades and the place looks great. While still being reasonably priced. The physical location is actually very nice as well with outdoor views of the local foothills and mountains. So I would recommend checking them out and making the drive down and seeing for yourself what they can offer. Regards

My wife has been a resident here for over two years. The facility is clean and well run with a caring staff. They keep the patients engaged in various activities and regularly schedule events that include family members. A full-time nurse is always present to address any medical needs and notify you immediately of any health issues that they have addressed. I have found the staff to be respectful to the patients and families as well. It is expensive as are all adult care facilities but the stress relief of having her in a secure and safe environment is priceless.

Works very well with challenging behaviors. Shannon always responds quickly to questions and concerns. Attend the monthly support group even if your relative isn’t living there-it’s very supportive and educational.

Am very happy with the continuing care my brother is receiving. The staff is well trained in interacting with dementia patients at all levels. Management is proactive in responding to questions/concerns and maintains an open line of communication with family. They do a remarkable job in often trying situations.

My dad was admitted to this facility after being denied twice because of his aggressive behavior due to the dementia. They were able to redirect his behavior and did an awesome job with for the 2 years he was there. He just passed in March and they were very caring and loving and i give them high praises for the work they do.

A very special place for your loved ones suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's. The staff is awesome and it is a very modern and clean facility, and prepares excellent food. Many activities for clients to participate in and planned get together's for family. You can be rest assured that your loved ones are being well taken care of. I highly recommend Desert Hills Memory Care Center to anyone in need and I will greatly miss the staff as I have grown to love them all very much.

I don't write reviews very often, but I could not be more happy with the care my loved one receives at Desert Hills. Anyone who has cared for someone with Dementia will understand the extreme amount of stress involved. Desert Hills has completely removed that stress for me. I never have to worry if my loved one is being well cared for, or if I'm going to receive a late night call about something she did that puts her place there in jeopardy. I'd give them ten stars if I could.

My husband has been well cared for at Desert Hills Memory Care in Hemet for a year and a half. The staff seems to respect the residents and they do their best to keep our loved ones safe, clean and active to the best of their abilities. Families are offered educational and social opportunities. I very much appreciate Desert Hills.
