My mom was at this facility years ago, then we moved them both in together to a different facility. After my mom passed we moved my dad back to Iris. We did this because of the care and attention we received. My dad is well cared for and the staff is attentive and respectful of his wants and needs. The facility is clean and well maintained. Activities go beyond to involve residents and provide memorable experiences.

My family decided to move my dad into Iris NW OKC about six months ago. From day one, we have felt at peace that this was the right decision. We have been heartbroken for quite some time over his Alzheimer's diagnosis, but Iris welcomed us with open arms and were ready to help with his care. We have felt genuinely loved and cared for by the entire staff. With daily visits to see my dad, we have a lot of chances to observe what goes on inside the facility. I have never once seen a resident that was not being cared for, or a staff member who was not attending to their needs. Our expectation is not total perfection, but it is clear that Iris is dedicated to the loving care of their residents. I would love more than anything to see Alzheimer's Disease become a thing of the past, but until then I'm very thankful for the support we can rely on at Iris.

After several years of taking care of my husband at home, our family decided it was time to explore our next step in our journey with Alzheimer’s. I had heard and read so many wonderful things about Iris Memory Care on MacArthur and 122nd Street in Oklahoma City. Once we were actually on site, my daughters and I knew from the moment we stepped into this new world of care that it was everything we had hoped it would be and after six months of my husband living there, we truly feel like we have a whole new family, starting with how much we love the entire staff. Iris Memory Care is not your typical memory care facility because the love and compassion the staff gives to the residents is felt and seen the minute you walk through the door.

I realized that it was the best facility for dementia and alzheimer disease. I felt he was well loved and grew to feel that it was his home with good friends and good people taking care of him. The home was designed very well for this illness. With good management the place excels.

Iris Memory care facility and its employees have been a blessing. It’s very difficult to place a loved one into anyone’s care ””But especially difficult when your loved one has memory issues. My husband has been a resident at Iris for nearly a year. During that period of time, any questions or issues or concerns that I have had, have been immediately addressed and answered In a positive manner. Kayla, the Executive Director, is always available at any time, to help with any Issues that a Resident might have. Tonja, the nurse, is equally available to address any medical/medication issues or concerns you might have and is eager to work with you/Your doctor, to help you care for your loved one. Plus, she Respects and encourages your Advocacy for your loved one. Mina, the Activities Director is outstanding! All memory care residents struggle with any free time that they have, but Mina keeps them so busy with positive and happy events and projects. That gives them some pride, self-respect, feeling of being productive and most of all ””-feeling loved! There are several caregivers that are also outstanding. Just to name a few”- Abena (The best!) Kim, Carla, Maria and I could go on and on. Then there is Amal. She helps the caregivers ensure that the facility is Clean and presentable. She too does a great job. To me it’s a true feeling of family there.

Memory care is never an easy transition in life. But I am still in amazement as to how wonderfully kind, professional and thorough the team was in moving my mom in and settling her into her new space. They went way above and beyond. My mom lives at Iris Memory Care in NW Oklahoma City. What an absolute blessing it has been. My mom is treated with respect, compassion, and love. Since she has arrived, she has actually thrived. They have found a way to bring joy in the midst of such a devastating disease. I have had experience with other Memory Care facilities and this is such a different experience. Before my mom even moved in they took time to get to know her. They asked so many questions about her life, her loves, her hobbies, her dislikes. The list goes on. I have never had a facility care anything about that regarding a loved one in memory care. The staff are wonderful. I also love that they have a very low turnover rate. Iris is by far the best memory care facility I’ve been involved with! The staff is caring and attentive, the activities director is top notch and keeps residents busy with fun and creative things to do, unlike many places that park residents in front of the TV all day! The director is always available to take care of any issues that may arise! From the time you meet the receptionist and other staff you will know this is a gem!

My mother has been at the Iris OKC Memory Care Facility for almost a year. My family looked at several other Memory Care Facilities before checking her in there. We have been very pleased with the care she receives. Through frequent visits, and the ability to monitor her environment with a camera in her room, we are convinced she gets great care. Since Mom’s arrival, there have been some concerns/requests that our family discussed with Iris Staff & Management. They have always been willing to listen to us, and make changes if possible, when needed. If you are looking for the perfect staff of perfect people, you won’t find it here, or ANYWHERE. But, if you are looking for a caring & professional staff, in a top notch facility for your loved one, you have come to the right place, if you are in the Oklahoma City vicinity. The staff & care-givers are second to none, and treat the residents with compassion & care.

IRIS is my top rated memory care community in OKC. The community was newly renovated and looks amazing. The workers have all been very nice. My uncle was at Iris Memory Care NW for just under 2 months before he passed. He was a very picky man but liked the facility from the first day. I was impressed with the staff as they are actual employees and not outside contract employees. They made him feel at home and stayed in contact with me if he had any issues. They are completing a large remodel to all the buildings. Paula the Executive Director and Matt the Wellness Director are easy to talk to and listen to what you say.

This is the best facility I've been in contact with and used. I've been in many facilities that I would never put a family member in because they were not hygienic, well staffed, and the service was not satisfactory, but Iris is the complete opposite! Love everything about it.

The management team are rude and unprofessional the employees are the best part but I have notice the never get any praise and thats sad I am thankful for the staff but the mangment is rarely seem involved and every week mangment is changing to me or in meetings all that sends up a red flag!

I feel it only right to share with the public that although reviews are sometimes helpful, they are not always dependable. I am the administrator of Heritage Point of Oklahoma City and it saddens me to see negative comments left by individuals who are obviously not connected to us in any way shape or form. Our families know that we strive hard to please and care for our residents and never would we allow such blatant negligence as suggested occur. I encourage you to visit our campus and talk with our families and staff you’ll see and feel the positive difference right away! We are blessed and honored to care for the individuals entrusted to us and it is for them that I must stand up and defend their reputation as this is their home and it should be respected as such. The next time somebody chooses to write a negative comment, please consider those you are attacking. If indeed you do have an issue or concern, please bring it to my attention as I know through good communication, all things can be resolved.
