The staff here is absolutely amazing! My dad stays here and they go above and beyond to make sure all his needs are met. They keep them active and do things with them daily. My dad is thriving here the doctors gave him a year to live but he has been here for over a year now and he looks 10 times better now then he did when he first arrived. My mother is in her 4th year at the facility. Many improvements have been done in the last 2 years. The staff and management are much more involved and the facility has done a 180 turn. For an all-inclusive, it is very affordable today. My mother is very comfortable there.

My brother moved to Smyrna Village about a year ago. The place were he was at before was really boring and never tried to help him connect in any way. It look very pretty from the outside and was fancy as well but they only had very old people that he could not relate to. At Smyrna Village he has for the first time belong to a community divided by age groups where he can better participate. Furthermore , the owner and workers are invested and really try to make him happy. Trust me, at the end of the day, a caring place is worth 100% more than the fanciest building you can find. Right? I am very grateful that we found Smyrna Village.

Smyrna Village has been such a big help for my family! We attempted to have my mom live with us but we just don't have the professional training to take care of her along with two young kids. So we decided to entrust my mom's care in Smyrna Village and I have been very pleased. The staff is attentive, caring and pleasant; my mom always talks about how nice everyone is at the facility. They always have great therapy activities and events for the residents. I'm pleased with our decision!

Smyrna Village Memory Care has truly been a blessing for my mom, who faces Alzheimer's. The dedicated staff, including Nataly, Jermaine, and Tara, demonstrated compassion and patience throughout our decision-making process. I really can't thank Tara enough! I kept in touch with her for 3 months before we moved mom in. She was extremely kind, patient, and understanding of the long process it can be to make such a hard decision. The caregivers are not just professionals but individuals known personally, embodying qualities of patience, gentleness, and responsibility. The facility's positive transformation under new management is evident, making it a staple in the community. We're grateful for the commitment and care Smyrna Village provides, making a challenging transition more manageable for our loved one.

My Mom has been living at Smyrna Village since 2020. The new ownership has been phenomenal! Nataly really cares about the residents at Smyrna Village and it shows in all she's implemented since taking over from the nutritious food to the outstanding activities and the room upgrades. Not to mention the quick response time when I reach out with a question, which is very important to me. I live out of state and feel completely confident that my mother is being well cared for. Nataly goes above and beyond, I feel like she and the rest of the staff treats my Mom like one of their family members and am thankful for that!

I may be the daughter of one of the owners, but I can promise you this place has so much heart and soul poured into the holistic care of the residents. The owners and employees are incredibly devoted to the people who are put in their care, especially because this is owned by a very family-oriented company. If your loved ones need to go to an Assisted Living home with Memory Care, this is definitely the place to go.

I am pleased with the way things are turning around with the new owners of Smyrna Village. My grandmother has been a resident there for a year, and in this time frame, they've changed ownership. I've had the opportunity to meet two of the three owners, one in person on a couple of occasions, and another by phone. I was made aware of the changes that would take place when I first met one of the owners in April of 2022, and I have seen some of those changes take place. I am very pleased to know that one of the changes that took place were the owners changing the lighting, and bringing in ultraviolet lighting. It was explained to me that this lighting helps prevent covid, which as we all know can be detrimental to an elder's health. They have redone the floors, and painted the walls throughout the facility. They have changed the menu at the facility of what the residents eat. My grandmother is being taken care of at Smyrna Village by caring hands, and hands that want to see her thrive as she goes through vascular dementia. It was not an easy transition as to how she got to Smyrna Village, but I'm pleased with the care that she's getting thus far. The caretakers there do not treat my grandmother like a baby, and they want to make her as comfortable as she can be. As my grandmother is wheelchair bound and on hospice, they get her up daily, bathe her, wash her hair, help her get dressed, and see that she gets started in her daily activities. If someone were looking for a place to have their loved one be that would make their loved one feel adored, Smyrna Village should be an option.

I do not know were you got your information from I know the Executive Director personally and the building does not have tags and the care givers are very good with the people in that building. They are kept dry clean and I know that a NP just like in any other community comes to see them on a weekly basis. You need to get your facts straight before pointing fingers at people. The people their are compassionate the management cares about the people and the improvements to the building are exceptional with the owners not a corporation that only thinks of numbers and not care. So maybe it was you with the problem but need to give correct information with out judgement until you know someone that just wrong. I maybe married to her but she puts that building her residents is her life many times in the mast 2 weeks she lost her mother even at the funeral I personal had to take her phone and answer because if a resident need her she is all ways their answering her phone her all of her own family will tell you she is dedicated picks them up ate hospital visits with them in the rehaps I go with her she is so involved it makes me want to be a resident she listens takes care of them above her self she had a pass maker in May 30th 2019 and was back at work on Monday had a driver to take her to the building. Many Executive Directors work 9-5 not her she works some times 16-18 and then answers the phone to so if you thing she for the money or numbers you need to know she does not even need to work I have told her on many occasions to quit but that is not her that women has a heart of gold no other man would take a back seat like I do and her family knows it so you need to know the truth before leaving remark like you did Families love her and people contact her my phone to be their love ones in places she runs because they know the care she will make sure they have is excellent and if you need numbers to check it out I have them and stand behind her because she does what is right. To me you need to do some some soul searching because the only one you are hurting is your loved one, People do not see eye ti eye on everything put she is always fair and does not lie she tells it like it is maybe you can not take the truth that would seem how it look from my end. I believe in her and her Team she is building that is a great building now and if you not happy move on because she is about the right thing to do for the resident not a person who does not understand what goes on with Memory care residents. she has been doing this for over 40 years and has over seen as many as 8-10 building under her direction like a pro she is and maybe a pass maker losing her mother in a few month how would you do ? So before making such comments you did to look in your own back yard. We as a family and her coworkers and residents love her to the moon and back.
