Five years ago we needed a place for our Mom who had dementia. After interviewing many other facilities, we chose the Rawlin. It truly became Mom's home. Not only did they welcome Mom, but they welcomed the family. Our Mom thrived there for many years, and touched the hearts of many. The staff are very caring and thoughtful with the residents. During the end times, the staff really went above and beyond in the care they gave our Mom, and we couldn't have been more grateful. I would highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a memory care facility for a loved one.

My Mom lived at the Rawlin for a little over two years. She was well cared for, her room was kept clean, and she enjoyed the activities they offered. Carly and the staff were fabulous about communicating with us as her care needs increased substantially, and very patient with the Medicaid process. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the shared rooms are very well done with distinct spaces, and privacy for the residents. We got to know most everyone by their name, and they us. Every person at the front desk knew us by name, and our Mom, which created a very personal, one on one experience. After my Mom died, the staff was very sympathetic and kind, and were very patient about giving us some time to clean out her room. I was pleased with the overall experience and would recommend the memory care to others.

Was going for a 4.5 but will round up as that’s more appropriate for this very special Memory Care Community than rounding down! As a tenured long-term care administrator, certified dementia practitioner, certified elder care coordinator, local Hospice Chaplain, and most importantly of all, Daughter of two late parents who lived with dementia, and sister/POA for older sister who lived with early onset Alzheimer’s. I feel very confident and comfortable in saying that this is one of the best Memory Cares I’ve ever worked with. The team is led by a genuinely caring administrator (Carly), an amazing, positive, energetic Life Enrichment/Activity Director (Lynzee), some truly exceptional, long-term care staff (Yesenia), and many others. Although no place is perfect, good communication is key and they exceed in this area. I would recommend moving a loved one here when considering Memory Care communities in Lane County.

Carly is an amazing person both personally and professionally. She is the executive director for the Rawling and is always trying to find things to make the residents smile. She is very creative too! For example, we were invited to an Easter egg hunt and they rented a cotton candy machine. The residents don’t get to see kids hunt for eggs much anymore and their faces filled with joy! I know she puts everything she has into making sure the residents are happy and health and that her sfafff feel the same way. Way to go Carly! I know I’d trust my loved ones with you in a heartbeat.

The Rawlin at Riverbend did a great job of taking care of my dad. He stayed there about a year until he passed away at almost 95. The Rawlin had my dad on a regular diabetic diet where he was able to stop taking insulin. His health actually improved during the last year of his life. He even stopped sundowning during his time there. The staff genuinely cared about my dad. I would highly recommend this place for anyone requiring memory care.

We had to make the difficult decision to put our Mom in a facility. I toured places for 2 days and decided on the Rawlin! We love the staff and the building. They always keep us updated on anything going on with her. They take our calls without hesitation. My brother lives out of town and gets updates anytime. This place is the best decision! We know she’s taken care of and safe.

The staff at Rawlin from the management to care staff have been amazing! My mother is not always a happy individual as she progresses through her disease. Rawlin's staff are so patient and caring with her. She is so well cared for, they way you would care for then yourself!

The Egg-Stravaganza event was nothing short of magical. They created a delightful experience where kids could hunt for Easter eggs, visit with the Easter Bunny, and enjoy some delicious food. The entire team pitched in and the residents were having a blast. Looking forward to next year!

My parents have been living at the Rawlin for 8 months. The staff have truly been our village! They have been amazing and so helpful navigating through this difficult process. The facility is clean, bright and updated. There is a lot of activities for the residents and a good variety menu. When picking a facility it was very important for my parents to be together and it’s been a huge relief knowing they are being taking care of!

I took a tour of this place and it was so clean and smelled good. It was well kept and the employees seemed happy going about their day. The residents were playing games and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I liked it very much!

I'd like to give a 4.5 star rating, but since that's now allowed, I rounded up. Mom's been there 6 years, we've seen a lot of people come and go, as with any facility these days. I'm appreciative of the hard-working staff and the care and support they provide for mom each and every day. Thank you one and all! Carly is responsive and easy to work with, Debbie is a delight at the front desk, and Yesenia's level of care is next to none (my family and I consider her a God-send!). The facility is bright and inviting, the food is great and I'm thankful mom has this nice place to call home in her final years. Yes, I would recommend the Rawlin at Riverbend Memory Care.

Placing my husband in a memory care facility was the most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make. It wasn’t long after his placement at The Rawlin at Riverbend that I knew I had found the right place for him. The facility is beautiful and well maintained but more importantly the staff is top notch. All, without exception, have gone above and beyond in caring for my husband. He is met each day with attentive care and compassion. The Rawlin at Riverbend has definitely exceeded my expectations.

The Rawlin care team has been nothing short of amazing with my mother the past three years. They are vested in making sure my mother is respected, loved, and taken care of at all times. Their administrative team is consistently in contact with my family regarding changes in her care. My family and I are extremely pleased with my mothers care. The staff are wonderful, caring and take great care of my mom. There are daily activities for residents as well as family fun events. Today was an Easter egg hunt ...mom had a blast with great grandkids and others' kids. The food is very tasty!!! If residents do not want what is served, there are other options they can choose. The building is always clean and inviting. Mom's room is decorated with her belongings, making it feel like home. Thank you Rawlin staff for all your hard work, dedication and love for my mom.

The Rawlin was my choice for my Mother five years ago. I rated it a 4 because it would be impossible to rate a 5, I believe due to the nature of the business. Is additional staffing needed, sure. Are more volunteers and support positions needed, sure. I feel for the most part the workers are amazing, hard working and caring. I believe and I feel their compassion and I can’t imagine not holding their efforts in high accord.

I feel so fortunate to have my mother living at the Rawlin. It is a clean, inviting environment with lots of natural light. They offer a variety of activities to engage the residents. Although my mother doesn't choose to participate, she is always encouraged. I love the friendly faces and bright smiles on the staff and residents when I come to visit. I appreciate the extra energy put into decorating, field trips, and cooking activities. The therapy dogs, spa bath, and manicure time are also a real plus. I have had many conversations with different staff members. I appreciate hearing about my mother from their perspective. My mother is probably more challenging than some, so it is heartwarming to listen to folks give me a funny story. I'm informed about my mother and any needs that I should address. I went to many different places when I was searching for a memory care facility for my mother. Many did not have current openings, and I needed a home for my mother immediately. I'm so thankful that The Rawlin at Riverbend was available. It felt so welcoming when I came on a tour. Also, I was amazed at the size of the shared room. Some of the places seemed very dark, and the shared rooms were so small that it felt that it would be intrusive to be sharing the space. It may not be a problem for easy-going folks, but I thought the smaller area might be challenging. We chose a single room until the finances demanded a move to a shared room. It has been a beautiful transition. The staff did an exemplary job of moving my mother to her shared place. They decorated her room so lovely that she may not have even noticed the change. I can only sing praises for the staff and care that my mother has received in the two years living at the Rawlin at Riverbend. Besides, she is happy and says the food is delicious.
