Putting a family member in an Assisted Living Facility is daunting. Back in January of 2023, I spent a lot of time researching and visiting many local facilities within a 45-minute radius of my home. After several visits to Serenades in Longwood, I decided this was the place I wanted for my husband. It is set up to feel like home. The Serenade's staff was extremely accommodating and patient while dealing with placement from a challenging hospital situation. During the time that my husband has lived at Serenades, the staff has proven to be caring and receptive to working with families to ensure their loved one is getting what they need. This level of care comes from the daily staff and nursing staff. My husband is comfortable and happy overall. He now considers Serenades his home and all of the residents and staff members are his friends. If you are looking for a caring place for your family member, Serenades may just be the fit for you.

I can’t say enough goods things about this facility and the staff and administration. The facility is immaculate and decorated to feel very homey, the staff is engaged and visibly caring of the residents. The administration was excellent in preparing for my dads arrival and responding to the one or two issues that came up. It’s been 6 months with dad in here and I feel very confident in his care.

We were very blessed to have been recommended this facility for our mother! The level of care, communication, and knowledge this facility has is impeccable! At first we were very nervous about even considering a community for her, especially with some of the less than ideal situations we have heard from some communities. But after this experience and seeing how genuinely happy our mom is, we would recommend this community to anyone who asks!

Wendy and the whole staff are doing such good work for the Serenades community. After the challenging year of Covid where they had to step into every role - entertainment, arts enrichment, fun and games, beauty care, scheduling remote visits, IN ADDITION TO their regular jobs - they are still smiling and serving their Serenades families energetically. The residents that I've observed before and after the Covid year look well and well cared for. You can just tell when you walk in and engage with residents that they are well loved by the wonderful staff. Today, my Dad told me that he feels blessed to live here! Thank you Wendy, Cheryl, Cindy, the nurses, CNA's, programs, kitchen, and anyone I haven't specifically listed - you all make it happen! ❤️❤️

My brother, Philip, and I cannot say enough good things about Serenades in Longwood, Florida. It was 2 ½ years ago, when our family could no longer keep our mom, whos memory was deteriorating, safe in a home environment. We were sad and, admittedly, very concerned about the care she would receive away from us. When we met Carolyn, the Director of Serenades, and her staff, we were immediately put at ease. They were knowledgeable and welcoming but, more importantly, their treatment of the residents was evident. We saw caregivers speaking kindly and with encouraging words prompting baths or participation in the various activities offered. The facility smelled fresh and clean, and the residents always appeared well groomed and – simply said – cared for. Before the pandemic, we could visit anytime we liked, and the circumstances remained consistent – mom looked healthy and clean, and the staff were always attentive to her needs. During the pandemic, we were encouraged to visit mom either remotely or at a safe distance. Sadly, our mom passed a few months ago on New Years Day following our father who died a week earlier on Christmas Eve. Though we miss them every day, we are grateful that our mom received such wonderful care from a group of people dedicated to helping the elderly live their best lives possible. Not only do we want to express our sincere appreciation of Carolyn but all of her staff, particularly Ainsley and Sabaeda.

My both parents have been at Sernades at Longwood for two weeks now. This was a very hard decision to make for me, but I am so grateful for the entire staff for making me feel like I made the right choice. This place felt like home to me and new my parents would love it. I just love how everyone makes you feel and I see Mom and Dad look happy. Thank you all for your hard work, I know you have a very difficult job and am so grateful to you.

My mother moved into Serenades several months ago. She had just lost her husband of 64 years and her dementia was getting worse quickly. The level of care she has received is amazing. The staff are not only skilled but extremely caring and supportive as well. She is well and happy and we couldnt ask for more.

Serenades has been a wonderful place for my Dad the past two years, and our family feels blessed that the Serenades team is full of loving, caring, and compassionate people. Wendy creates such a warm environment and gives us as much attention two years on, as she did when we were first making the difficult decision to move Dad from home. The executive staff, front desk reception, kitchen, CNAs, everyone on the floor or behind the scenes has been excellent. Thank you Serenades Longwood!

My aunt has resided at Serenades by Sonata at Longwood since 2015. The care she receives has been exceptional. The staff is kind and compassionate, and always available to help or answer a question. She feels well cared for and our family feels the same way. Everyone at Serenades is involved in my aunts care. I receive frequent communications and updates from the staff and appreciate the accessibility of management. Anytime I or my family visit we are greeted by friendly faces and I am always amazed at how everyone is aware of my aunts status, from the immediate caregivers to management. It is truly a team effort to make certain the residents are well cared for and comfortable. We appreciate the hands on approach and attention to detail.

My mom lives at Serenades and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility. My mom lived in 2 different memory care facilities (out of state) before coming here and we did not get the best quality of care. We found Serenades and moved her down to Florida and my mom has never been happier! The facility is always clean plus has an amazing courtyard for the residents to use whenever. The staff is always wonderful and I get phone call and text updates regularly on my mom..which has been amazing during the pandemic when we cant regularly go see her. My mom stays well groomed and active and I highly recommend sending a loved one here. Wendy helped us moved in a year ago and is always so sweet and available to help us with any questions or concerns that come up. We love Serenades at Longwood!

I visited so many facilities for my grandfather. I am so grateful that Serenades at Longwood had an available room just when we needed it. It was by far the NICEST facility we had seen. It was so clean and the management staff made us feel so welcome. Then once we moved my grandfather in we realized the entire staff was professional and super nice. Everyone seemed to sincerely love their job and I am so happy to have them taking care of my grandfather. He is so important to me and my family that I couldnt imagine leaving him in anyone elses care. I completely trust my grandfather to Serenades !!!

I feel very welcomed every time I have gone to visit . Everyone is awesome, loving and caring . You can recognize all this just by walking in and being greeted by the receptionist and then when you talk to staff . The facility smells good and is always kept spotless clean . Serenades at Longwood is a phenomenal memory care facility. The staff is very caring and attentive. The environment is clean and feels just like a home. There are so many activities for the residents to participate in. When my grandmother was there, she was the happiest, calmest, and most relaxed she had been since getting sick. Im so grateful she could spend her days in such a wonderful place. Highly recommend.
