If you want company there are always others around, however if you do not want company you can just stay in your apartment. I do a bit of each. This is like my home and has been from the beginning. The staff is incredibly attentive and caring, always going above and beyond to ensure the residents are comfortable and well taken care of. The staff is amazing. They take great care of the residence. The Assistant Executive Director Celeste Martinez is amazing and I wouldn't want to work for anyone else. She really prides herself on doing what's best for the residence and making staff feel comfortable, safe, while pushing them to develop professionally. The residents are happy and appreciate the care that they get here. It's a great place to work and a great place to bring your loved one.

This place has been the most wonderful gift to our family, knowing our mother is happy & cared for on so many levels. The people who work here are compassionate and perceptive, from the dining room staff to the front desk, the activities folks to the maintenance staff, all the way up to the director; we have had incredible experiences interacting with everyone. They provide a welcoming helpful warm atmosphere for residents. They really care about the people who live there and strive to make it a place that is not only safe, but it's also a place that feels like home. EXCELLENT place to live and blessed to have found it!

This is truely an amazing place. My Mom was there for 5 years. EVERY time I talked to her she expressed her gratitude for the love and caring of the staff and other residents. My Mom died suddenly in her sleep and she died happy, not in small measure because of the people at the Brookdale Meridian Lakewood.

The skilled nursing care area is great. The care for Mother is good and the activities have been very good for her! We have been able to spend a lot of time with her and even had lunches with her in the dining room.

Meridian Lakewood has been a blessing for my dad. Through this Covid crisis they have gone above and beyond with Zoom or Facetime visits for us. We were also able to visit outside. It is very sad what the government has mandated for these facilities and we understand it is not their fault and it is not them keeping us away. The nurses and CNAs have so much care for him and and really treat him like family. We couldnt love this place more!My dad also has a great view from his room and is able to still go outside and enjoy time by their ponds which makes him so happy as he used to be a big angler. He can watch the fish swimming in the pond.

From the caring staff to the great residents this place is so warm and welcoming. Meals are good and wholesome and the grounds arent like any other community in the Denver area. If you want to be away from the city, not on a busy street and about to having walking paths then this is the place. We love it here.

My parents have lived here now for over a year. Dad in their Skilled Nursing and Mom in their independent living. This was the initial reason they moved there so they can be together. Mom is able to visit with Dad and bring him out to the ponds, to the large dining room for independent residents and the outings they can go together. Dad isnt completely restricted to the nursing home which no one wants to be. BUT it is actually pretty nice- super large rooms and very caring staff. Mom loves the food and has been able to be herself again playing bridge and joining groups there. We couldnt be happier that Mom and Dad are finally happy.
