Management is trying to do a much better job than Brookdale did. Front office staff are willing to listen to the residents. My biggest complaint is the food. Even though Ciel took over this facility in April, 2026, the food has remained a disappointment. One of Ciel’s perks is that they will provide SPECIALTY’ dining experiences. I didn’t realize that meatloaf every week was considered a specialty food. Otherwise, I think our new administrators are doing a good job.

Recently had a flood from a pipe break and had to move to another apt and they have been very helpful but the food remains the biggest draw back as it is poorly prepared and often poorly sservedll We have asked for changes for quite a while but seems things don't get much better ! We would like a red Sunday buffet not a mishmash and same things every Sunday! There is not imagination or interest in our food.

This place is amazing, the staff is great and treats my mother with care and respect. We live far away and it is nice knowing she is safe with them. She says the food is great and I have always been impressed by the cleanliness of the entire facility. I would give more stars if I could

I've been wanting to write this review for years. In the winter of 2019- 2020, my loved one was in hospice at this Brookdale. The rooms were large and clean. The staff and medical team was kind, helpful, and professional. They took very good care of my loved one. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, it was one of the better medical experiences I have had in many. many years. I will always be grateful to the staff and medical providers there.

I picked Brookdale Meridian Lakewood after touring eight facilities. It was the cleanest, most affordable, and had the best care staff to patient ratio. I was initially impressed with how kind the staff was during the visit. My sister lived her final weeks at Brookdale. The care staff was responsive and helpful and they treated my sister with dignity and respect while she was in hospice care. My sister's pain was well managed and she was as comfortable as possible until the end. I can't sing their praises enough and I never felt I made a poor decision in choosing Brookdale.

The facility offers so many activities for the residents, fostering a wonderful sense of community and connection. The staff is truly exceptional. They are gracious, caring, and go above and beyond to ensure every resident feels safe and cared for. They took such good care of my dad, not only looking after his physical needs but also making sure he felt valued and respected. What really stood out was how personal their care was”they took the time to get to know him as an individual. He knew the staff by name, and they knew him, which gave him a deep sense of comfort and belonging. Knowing he was in such a supportive and compassionate environment gave our family peace of mind. I can't recommend Brookdale Meridian Lakewood highly enough for anyone seeking a place where their loved one will be safe, honored, and genuinely cared for.

I have been at Brookdale Meridian Lakewood for almost five years and I never regret having come here. If you want company there are always others around, however if you do not want company you can just stay in your apartment. I do a bit of each. This is like my home and has been from the beginning. The staff is incredibly attentive and caring, always going above and beyond to ensure the residents are comfortable and well taken care of. This place has been the most wonderful gift to our family, knowing our mother is happy & cared for on so many levels. The people who work here are compassionate and perceptive, from the dining room staff to the front desk, the activities folks to the maintenance staff, all the way up to the director; we have had incredible experiences interacting with everyone. They provide a welcoming helpful warm atmosphere for residents. They really care about the people who live there and strive to make it a place that is not only safe, but it's also a place that feels like home. EXCELLENT place to live and blessed to have found it!

This is truely an amazing place. My Mom was there for 5 years. EVERY time I talked to her she expressed her gratitude for the love and caring of the staff and other residents. My Mom died suddenly in her sleep and she died happy, not in small measure because of the people at the Brookdale Meridian Lakewood.

The skilled nursing care area is great. The care for Mother is good and the activities have been very good for her! We have been able to spend a lot of time with her and even had lunches with her in the dining room.

From the caring staff to the great residents this place is so warm and welcoming. Meals are good and wholesome and the grounds aren’t like any other community in the Denver area. If you want to be away from the city, not on a busy street and about to having walking paths then this is the place. We love it here.

My parents have lived here now for over a year. Dad in their Skilled Nursing and Mom in their independent living. This was the initial reason they moved there so they can be together. Mom is able to visit with Dad and bring him out to the ponds, to the large dining room for independent residents and the outings they can go together. Dad isn’t completely restricted to the nursing home which no one wants to be. BUT it is actually pretty nice- super large rooms and very caring staff. Mom loves the food and has been able to be herself again playing bridge and joining groups there. We couldn’t be happier that Mom and Dad are finally happy.
