I have been a resident for 31/2 years and I love it. I feel very much at home.here. Great, friendly and accommodating staff make living here a safe, comfortable, affordable and enjoyable experience in which we all, residents and staff, live as a fun and joyful community. There are activities you may or may not join, good food, and a beautiful, natural wooded setting. And Seaside is a great coastal resort town with a variety of events and sights.

What I love most about Avamere in Seaside is the care and consideration all the residents and staff give to each other. It's just like Clatsop County except on a smaller scale. There is a lot of love and happiness at Avamere Seaside!

I moved in a month ago and I couldn't be happier with my decision to choose Avamere at Seaside for my Independent Living needs. The monthly cost includes three chef prepared meals a day, weekly housekeeping, and a calendar full of daily activities. This is a wonderful alternative to living alone, doing everything for myself, experiencing loneliness and isolation, and eating meals based on how much effort I wanted to put into the prep, cooking, and clean up. Everyone here is so nice. That includes the staff and the other residents. It's like one big family. Two factors made me choose Avamere. 1) It's a smaller community. Not corporate feeling at all. Very comfortable. 2) It's proximity to the ocean. Less than half a mile walk to the beach. I'm able to do that walk most mornings before breakfast is served. How awesome is that? Life is good.

My Mom was a resident at Avamere in Seaside Oregon, before my Mom moved in, she kept to herself, after moving into Avamere she came out of her shell, she built long lasting friendships with some of the residence, I have not seen my Mom happier , since losing my Dad. Avamere is a beautiful place, inside and out, it's always clean and inviting, people are so friendly, and I felt like part of the group when I was visiting my Mom as well. My Mom was always sharing with me, she would share the great outings that she would go on with some of the residence, from going to the beach, to going on ride's, and her favorite, going out for ice cream after her fall she really could not attend the outside trips, ( she broke her hip and shoulder) not at Avamere, on a vacation we had planned for her, but there was still plenty of activities to keep her busy, like a special dinner once a week , movies in the theater, with popcorn and helping decorate on special occasions and holidays, a beautiful patio outside, that my Mom could help with , it was a beautiful place, she also loved happy hour as well, my Mom always felt like she was part of something, and that was the best thing for my mom. Even though this is independent living, Jenny would always check on my Mom, as well as her friends, and report anything that was concerning, even as far as going to the emergency room more than once, and spending her own time sitting with my mom for over four hours, just to comfort my Mom and make sure she was not alone, and safe, I so appreciate that so much. Avamere also has yummy food, and so many choices to choose from, you can always find something that satisfies your taste buds, I have also had a few meals with my Mom, and everything was fresh and tasty I am trying to get my Mom into the memory care unit now, as soon as a bed opens up, this is how much I trust Avamere with the my Mom, she can once again be with her friends and loving staff. I live at Avamere in Seaside. The staff always has a smile and very helpful. The meals are prepared with care and presented like in a fine restaurant in Seaside. I am feeling safe and secure in my old age of 80's. Thankful for the kindness.

Avamere at Seaside is my home now for over 2 years.. I am grateful for the many staff that make up my home.. who could ask for more..3 meals a day if I chose..activities I enjoy.. friendly courteous staff that are always willing to listen and help with a concern .. My extended family lives here!

My mom has lived at Avamere Seaside for 6 months and so far we have been very happy with the surroundings and small community feel, the facility is clean, well lit and ready to navigate. The staff are very helpful & friendly. It's unfortunate that after only 6 months Avamere has voted for a 7% raise in rent costs to commence January 2025 which increases my mom's rent by $158 she wasn't even given the benefit of a year lease before this huge price increase. I'm really not sure how senior citizens are supposed to live after working all their lives and now on fixed incomes while facing 7% increases to housing costs. My sister and I do all we can to help and shelter my mom from knowing about these costs as all it does is stress everyone out. As I said, Avamere is a great place but honestly how can anyone live with those kind of increases.

My mother has lived at the Memory Care section of Avamere at Seaside since the fall of 2017. She receives excellent care from the most loving staff. My sister and I are so thankful for the wonderful people who care for our mother. We have regular check-ins with the staff and we're also informed immediately of any issues that may arise. Everyone there couldn't be more kind and helpful!

Our mom has resided in Avamere @ Seaside’s memory care wing since 2017. Mom is happy, healthy and best of all, content. The caregivers and staff go above and beyond making sure Mom has all that she needs and she’s even gotten to a healthier weight by eating the nutritious and filling meals provided. Over the last year due to the Covid shutdown, they have stepped in to be family and very adamantly adhere to all safety protocols. We zoom call with Mom and get to stay updated via LifeLoop link as to her daily schedule, activities and we even get photos. They offer a full schedule of fun and keep us continuously updated. Avamere stays on top of and ahead of any health issues that should arise. Mom adores them and they consider her family. There are not enough words to thank everyone at Avamere for being the angels on earth that they are! Updated August 2024: We still feel the same about these wonderfully caring and professional folks! Mom is receiving the best care and is absolutely content. She adores them and she is part of their family. Many heartfelt thanks to all of them.

I wanted to say how pleased I am with all.the people in the memory care portion at Avamere..it hasn't been easy to place my husband there .but I have had some exemplary people pave the way for me and make it a smooth transition...Bethany has gone the extra mile to assist me ..Dan and Amanda have had answers for my questions,..Amy ,Teresa and Paul always have such nice things to say about my husband..and not to forget the team of caregivers who are excellent at what they do..my husband is happy and where he should be..getting great care .!!! I moved into Avamere independent senior living on August 8 , 2022 and have never regretted it. The staff here are very helpful from the manager to the housecleaning staff. The atmosphere here has always been responsive of all my questions and concerns. I love living here.

I have found this to be a beautiful property, great location and the staff are amazing. Such a welcoming, wonderful community. The food is well-balanced and top notch and the level of caring from the staff is truly wonderful.

This building is unique in the way of it's design. They offer Memory Care in one part of the secure building, and independent living on the other part of the building. The staff here are great. It truly takes a special heart to care for elder and the love and sincerity shows in all the care staff & administration . The residents always appear to be well dressed and groomed. You can truly tell that each one of the staff at Avamere brings joy to the residents in different ways. On the independent living side of the building the residents appear to be enjoying their retirement community. The activities director really goes above to get each resident involved in all the different events Avamere puts together. I rated this a 5 star simply because I would not hesitate to bring my family to be apart of this community.

My mother was at Avamere, Seaside, for 18 months, suffering from Alzheimer's Dementia until she passed last February. Foremost,seeing that she was loved and cared for while she was there was a great comfort to me, and surely to her. She was very happy there. The facilities are lovely, and the staff was great! I would highly recommend it!

My grandma receives such great care here. Hannah goes above and beyond to help keep us all connected with my Grandma, and plans fun activities to keep everyone engaged, especially during covid. Everyone there has taken covid precautions seriously and it is much appreciated.

The staff is amazing!! I never have any worries about my grandma calling this place home! I'm always welcomed and I know my grandmother is better off there than by herself. She is happier which makes me happier!
