You see people hanging out on the steps laying down smoking weed and you report this and nothing gets done this never used to be you see people go to the dumpster and dump all the trash bag out at the dumpster and take the trash bag back to the wherever they take it they're supposed to be smoking out on the sidewalk it used to be so peaceful and nice

Now they're starting to come into cherrydale apartments smashing your car windows out trying to steal and hijack you the police department said the cameras are not working in the office that they're not position right that he can't see anything we need these cameras fixed immediately our safety is important and we need it well lit it community

I grew up in cherrydale apartments in the 80+90s. My late great aunt Ms. Hattie Louise butler was the very 1st EVER tenant to move into the complex at the 1204 Cherryhill rd apt E building back in 1958 I believe! To live in cherrydale back in the 80s and 90s was like living in luxury ’. I have so many great nostalgic members and moments from back then I could write a book. I miss my aunt, she passed back in 2012

Building security is very vulnerable, even though there's camera's and very rarely security officer onsite some nights. But a huge problem for safety is these buildings main entry door electronic lock system been supposedly upgraded/changed about a couple years back but some of our buildings have repeatedly broken locks that dont even lock some time and even when it's fix/working many multiple repeated strangers come and snatch door open by pulling and popping door lock open to enter with their bare natural hands. It been repeatedly brought to office and maintenance attention but problem continues to exist. One of the office workers many month's ago told me that she was trying to get corporate to upgrade lock system but that's many many months ago. And even this building lock today is just hanging off which been like that for months, maintenance and other property employees enter building all time, I figure why keep asking them to fix lock when I ask repeatedly, not being repaired and they know it's broke they enter that door. But our safety could be at risk.

Apartments are well kept, I have seen maintenance responds quickly. Secure closed place. The neighborhood is not the best. But it's a nice place

A one year old murdered here over the 2013 Memorial Day weekend. How will the owners of this complex guarantee the safety of its current and future residents? Until I hear how, I advise all prospective residents to stay away.
