I have friends (an older couple) that have moved there very recently. The place is very neat and clean, the food is very good and they love it there. The people that live there are very friendly and the place has a lot of activities. It is situated very near the Northeast Georgia Hospital .... great location and easy access to their doctors!

My grandmother lives here and they seem to be very accommodating! We had a Christmas lunch here that was excellent! Shes happy and it's felt like home here for her in a short amount of time!

I work in healthcare and I’m in lots of communities every week and this place is so inviting and fun. The residents are happy and thriving. Daphne the sales director goes above and beyond for her current residents and future residents. Michael has done an amazing job creating a new vision and the hospitality really shows. Activties with Amy and events with the whole team are so much fun and top tier. Melissa does a wonderful job in the office and creating a wonderful atmosphere! This is the place I would want to be if I were in independent living.

First off, this is NOT an assisted living facility!! It is strictly INDEPENDENT! Living!! Please stop advertising it incorrectly!! It is a great place to live with wonderful food, lots of activities and a warm group of residents. But it is not the place for those needing a lot of assistance or continual monitoring and care!! In retrospect, I appreciate the fact that our facility is now more accurately being shown as a retirement community rather than an assisted living facility. In light of this move in the right direction, I have given further thought to my rating and upgraded it to 4 stars. My intention was never to caste aspersions toward the staff, administration, or management of Smoky Springs. As previously stated, they are all wonderful and we are fortunate to have a hem here.

We first toured in May 2025 and moved Mom in later that month. Daphne was a wealth of knowledge about Smokey Springs and all it has to offer. Mom has been there 5 months and enjoys the place and people she’s met. They have tons of activities and a bus to transport residents to store or appointments. We toured 4 facilities before deciding on Smokey Springs. Daphne made a difference in making our decision. She went above and beyond on everything.

I brought one of my family members for a tour here and they really enjoyed the experience. The location was great, it was close to my home. The facility looked beautiful. They came in time for lunch, and she really enjoyed the meal. The other residents were kind and greeted her. The manager was also lovely, she was the one giving the tour.

Upon entering I was genuinely surprised by how inviting bright and clean the environment is . Toured the facility for my parents recently. Daphne is one of a kind. She cares for her residents and it certainly showed during our tour. She was calling everyone by name and you could tell they genuinely love her. Wasn’t the facility for my parents as there are no stoves and microwaves in the apartments. We talked to several residents and everyone seemed happy and settled there. Food was really good as we were offered lunch during the tour. Staff very kind.

My family toured here last week looking for my parents. The facility itself, is absolutely beautiful! Once we got there we were met with a warm welcome from Amy at the front desk. She made my parents feel very comfortable. Daphne was so thoughtful and patient. She understood the magnitude of this process and was very kind. Thank you Daphne and Amy for treating our parents with dignity and grace.

Love Smoky Springs! The manager, Quincey, is awesome, as well as all staff! Everyone is friendly and caring, including the welcoming residents! The grounds are clean and continually updated. The staff at Smoky Springs is absolutely wonderful. They embraced my brother and our family with open arms! Daphne and Quincy go above and beyond every single day. The facility is beautiful and clean and the food is fantastic. The facility has activities daily and they also offer to take the residents on outings outside of the facility on a regular basis. My brother is extremely happy at Smoky Springs!!

Daphne toured me & my mother and my aunts. She met us with a genuine smile and positive spirit. Upon entering Smoky Springs, we see A huge welcome plaque with all of our names on it. It really made us feel extra special. Daphne introduced us to Quincey who is the head director. She welcomed us and our lunch table was reserved. The waitress were friendly, the food was amazing & the people who reside here genuinely love the staff. I’d move today if I was old enough. My mom and 2 aunts will be residents in March 2025. I highly recommend this bright beautiful community. Alan a WWII vet was one of the highlights of my life. He regales us with his recent trip to Normandy France. What an adventure to live at Smoky Sorings. I’m signing up when I turn 55. I feel that it is home away from home. Give these ladies and staff all the stars. Bright and positive community with uplifting, grand amenities, and nice floor plans! Recommend

My parents have been at Smoky Springs for about 3 months. This place truly is a blessing! Mom and Dad have a sunny 2 bed/2 bath apartment with a kitchenette and balcony and weekly housekeeping. There are also studios and one bedrooms available, some with very unique floorplans! My parents both really enjoy the delicious food and talk about it often. The best part of mealtime is sitting with lots of interesting people and making new friends. The residents are super friendly and engaging. There are more scheduled activities in a day than they can possibly do. There is on-site PT, an exercise room, a library, TV room, chapel, salon, activity room, as well as outdoor spaces to exercise and relax. The staff is always very helpful. Many employees have been there for years and care deeply for the residents. I am grateful to have found this place.

This place is awesome. All the units have a private balcony, their dinning room area is very nice, and the meals are excellent, with more than one option with each meal. The staff is very friendly and polite. They provide many activities in the facility, as well as transportation for activities in the local community. They have Physical therapists on site, they have exercise equipment/ exercise room for those that want to follow their own exercise program, they have laundry room in every floor, they have optional covered parking for the residents, and even have guests rooms for when out of town families want to come visit their loved ones. They also have a Chapel. This place has it all. Come visit and you won’t be disappointed. It is a great place to have the people we do care about when they are no longer able to be on their own.

I have been a resident here at Smoky springs for 8 years and I love it here. Quincy very nice and has proved herself, she goes above and beyond for all of us. The food here is amazing. Daphne is another one that is amazing. They both are a very valuable asset to the company.

I toured Smoky a few weeks ago, since they had a remodel, absolutely beautiful place! Very active community with nice and friendly residents. Brissa and Cathy are amazing people and really love their seniors. I attached pictures I took of a model room.

I am a resident. I have been here over a year. It has been the most wonderful thing for me. They have a legacy office here that provides physical and occupational therapy. I have lost over 40 pounds and am involved in a lot of activities. I love that we ate so close to the mountains and lake Lanier. The perfect vacation spot or perfect retirement. The best thing is the wonderful people.

My recent experience with placing a client at Smoky Springs was amazing. We had toured previous communities and when we toured Smoky Springs they made us feel at home, which is what we were looking for. Brissa made the process of moving so easy for us. The director, Kathy made us feel at home from the minute we met her during our tour and the night we moved in Kathy was introducing us to new residents and making sure we had everything we need. I highly recommend Smoky Springs if your looking for an environment you want to feel at home in.

The guests at Smoky Springs seem to be way more active and part up more with activities because they are made to be enjoyable. They are more outgoing and energetic it seems. Overall I believe that the staff at Smoky Springs generate all his additional energy and willingness to participate. 100% and Five Stars is my rating for the facility.

Absolutely one of my most favorite places to refer clients seeking a senior independent living setting! Cathy, the manager, has been here for years and it shows as she runs Smoky smoothly and cares about seniors thriving here. Sue has been activity director here for over 17 years, and her busy calendar of events exceeds other communities by far. I eat here when opportunity allows as the food is very good, and I am a big fan of how this community offers independent apartments but with the added convenience of 3 good meals a day and utilities, maintenance, and weekly housekeeping included in rent too. Brissa, who has been the receptionist here for years has moved into the sales role and she will rock that position because she knows and loves Smoky, and her kind, professional manner will serve enquiring seniors perfectly! If you are looking for Senior Independent living, you need to tour and consider Smoky Springs.

Great staff that are active with the tenants and put on events a games. I've been here a few times over the years and have seen tenants playing music and playing badminton and it is very festive around the holidays. I feel as if the staff truly care about the happiness of the tenants
