My mom has been at Avamere Berry Park for almost a year now and I can honestly say it’s been such a great place for her. The facility is clean and well-cared for, there are plenty of activities to get involved in, and the staff is amazing! Really couldn’t have hoped for a better place!

Avamere at Berry Park has been quite special to me over the years. The reason for this was the fact that my Mother and Father-in law were residence here when they no longer could stay in their home. Avamere was known as (C?) back then. Their experience was very good since socializing for them was important being new to the area. With that bit of information, I knew that when I was ready to have a place to live I would know that this facility would be my answer.I have not been disappointed as I can readily say that all the comforts that I need are taken care of. They take care of us with kindness and a smile.

I love this place! I am a piano player who comes in and plays for special events and holidays. The staff and residents are amazing! The building is beautiful and the residents seem like theyre always doing something fun. Staff seem to really carefor their residents and attentive to their needs.

There is a reason why people who write scathing reviews keep themselves anonymous, and its not fear of retaliation. Wendy AND her entire staff are the most caring, reliable, flexible people I have encountered EVER! My mother has been there for 1 1, 2 years and everyone from Wendy, to the dining room staff, kitchen staff, front desk staff (all shifts) not in any particular order are truly WONDERFUL!! I am there (before the virus) daily. I watch things closely. Wendy knows very well what their limitations are (being an independent living community) and must, by law, let families know when their loved ones need the next step in their journey. I trust everyone there with my moms best interests and safety. When a personal alarm (pendant) goes off that is a priority immediately! My mom is reaching that point where she needs care not available in any independent care facility. I dont want to have to move her from a place where I know she is loved to the unknown of other communities. Its very frightening. Please dont let the negative spewing of an angry post veer you away from Avamere at Berry Park. I truly believe the staff are angels disguised in human form. Over the top? Maybe, but for very good reason. I am not a past or current employee, and by the way, the Jills (1 and 2) are a big part of why this place is successful.

Berry Park is the perfect place to call home. From the wonderful kitchen staff to the friendly faces at the front desk, this community really stands out from the rest. If youre ever in the neighborhood stop by and ask for a tour! I believe youll be charmed and feel right at home from your first impressions through the door.
