I don't normally write reviews, but I felt in this instance it was definitely warranted. From my Brother's first day at The Court at Rushdale Kim Leslie went out of her way to make my Brother comfortable in his new home, and Kim was always available to myself and my siblings and made us feel secure that Rushdale was the perfect choice for all of Us, in this new chapter in my Brother's Life. Being my Brother I can say he can be a bit of a challenge some days. Kim on many occasions stepped up and help my Brother navigate living in a new environment, for my siblings and myself who live out of town this level of compassion and help was very much appreciated by all of Us. I can say confidentiality that moving into The Court at Rushdale was a great option for all of my Family and especially my Brother. I want to personally thank Kim Leslie and all of the staff for making my Brother's stay at Rushdale a great choice. The property, food, activities and care are top notch and I would recommend the property for anyone considering a great retirement lifestyle. Thanks to All of You. Bill Young and Family.

Rushdale is the place to be. This retirement home is one of the best. When I first entered this home I already felt the warm welcome. When I moved in i immediately called this place home. I no longer have to cook or clean! Yay! The activities here are numerous, something for everyone. We had a cardio drum class this afternoon and had so much fun. I’ve made many friends and the staff is always there for you.

I have been at Rushdale now since october 2025 l was supposed to only stay till dec 2025 but due to my medical condition had to extend till at least march 31 2026. it really has been an eye opening experience for me about what human compassion is all about . All the staff from manager Kim , Patricia , Tsaiyah , Sham, Fatima have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. housekeeping and cafeteria staff Carrie, Amy and Kamal and all the servers have been great. Most of all the residents with whom i have formed bonds , friendships and bonds are priceless! and will stay with me for the rest of my life

Our family could not be happier with the care and community at this retirement home. From day one, the staff made my mother feel welcomed, comfortable and truly at home. What stands out the most is the family atmosphere- everyone knows the residents by name and treats them with kindness, patience and respect. My mother feels safe, supported and genuinely happy, which means the world to our family. We are so grateful that we found a place where our mother is not just cared for but part of a community. A fine seniors residence. Very clean and spacious and great people to work with. As I entertained there, I spoke with many residents who were enjoying their home. Tishiah Boothe, the program director, was also so caring and pleasant as were the rest of the staff I spoke with. Highly recommended.

Our band, deservedly so, has performed many times as a court at rushdale. The staff are great, as they insure that all the residents get an opportunity to see the concert. They set up a staging area, and chairs for the residents to view. I've always found rushdale to be a very nice place to visit. We've visited and performed at a lot of seniors complexes, and I would rate this one as one of the top ones. Tishiah Boothe is our contact person and she's great to deal with. Always helpful and pleasant.

My grandfather moved here from another home, and Court at Rushdale has set new expectations! It is such a pleasant place to be, it's clean, the residents are friendly, the aesthetic is beautiful, and there is always something to do there! My parents are residents here and after my most recent visit I remain grateful for the consistent excellence of the staff and facilities. The staff really do go the extra mile to provide a high level of care, smiles, help & assistance to the residents! for example, on this last visit, i joined my parents for a theme lunch 'Spain' where decorations including colored napkins, placemats depicting Spain and was served paella (with shrimp, chicken & calamari!) and flan! the place it kept clean and fresh activities to cater to broad appeal. Kudos you guys!

I came here from three weeks in a hospital from a car accident and from the start I found the people in charge very friendly and helpful and it has continued during my time here and the friendliness has continued to the meal services as well as entertainment and keeping its clients active as they wish to be. My mom has been living at the court at Rushdale for a few months now and is loving it. The staff is friendly, the food is good and there are lots of activities to keep her busy. They clean her room once a week which is really nice. So glad we found it!

During the time at Atria Retirement Community, I found it to be a truly welcoming place with excellent food that was always nicely presented. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure residents felt cared for. While I enjoyed the many activities offered. Overall, it's a wonderful community that feels like home, and friendly faces that make retirement living truly enjoyable.

Very nice residence with wonderful staff. When our friend Bob moved in we (12 in total) were treated to a lovely lunch served by Shmairan in a private dining room. The table was beautifully set and food was excellent! The chef and manager made an appearance also to welcome guests & the new resident.

I am thoroughly impressed with the attention the court at Rush staff gives my father. They are very caring and make sure his needs are fully met. I am very grateful to have found this new home for my father and all it has to offer even the shuttle bus driver makes him very happy and goes out of her way for him, I give this home a true five star !!!

My aunt lived at Court at Rushdale for a few years after her husband passed away. She was happy to have so many friends specially the ones that spoke Italian. I am a retired high school principal and a very active member in Hamilton's historical community. I have written several books preserving local and Canadian history and used my many years of teaching experience to present over 1,400 PowerPoint lectures to many groups in the community. Several years ago, the Engage Life Coordinator at Court at Rushdale, Larry Garcia, invited me to present slide lectures based on my historical research to the Court's residents. The programs were so successful, especially the "Then and Now" format that I became a regular entertainer with over 100 visits. That became disrupted during COVID, but the present Life Coordinator, Tishiah Boothe is working hard to renew the program and I appreciate her effort and that of management to revive memories for their residents.

I love this place. It is well taken care of both outside and inside and the residents are well taken care of. The food is phenomenal (including steak and shrimp which you don't normally get at retirement homes), the staff are fantastic and there are LOTS of interesting activities. My initial meeting with Charles at Court at Rushdale was more informative than I could have ever expected. Charles provided an extremely in-depth tour of the suites and amenities at the Court at Rushdale and was extremely knowledgable and informative for any questions I had. Mom's been living in the Rushdale community since November of 2019, and couldn't be happier with the food, her apartment, their care during the pandemic, the many social activities and theme days. She's happy so we're happy! Most of the staff are wonderful and know all the residents by name, and many of their family members too. Might seem expensive, but... you get what you pay for.
