Mom absolutely loved living here. We visited her often and saw how attentive the staff were and how wonderful the food was, especially the Sunday brunch. We really appreciated the salad bar. Felt like a wonderful community. My mom loved all the little touches during many holidays throughout the year.

I was sad to know that we had to my Father had to leave Huntley Springs. The Management team and staff were so very warm and accommodating. The building was so clean and peaceful. Just loved the residents, they were all special too. I would recommend Huntley Springs to any who is looking for a warm feels like home Independant living.

My 91-year-old grandma has lived here for 8 months and she loves it. She was at her previous house for 30 years so I know it has been very different for her. But it seems like the transition wasn't bad! I have visited her several times and it is always clean, smells nice, and everyone we see is so friendly. I'm glad to see my grandma happy and enjoying her new home.

This is a wonderful place to live. There are so many different activities. No one can complain they are bored. The staff is wonderful and friendly. They go out of their way to help make the resident's life a happy one. Just a hint, look closely into a possible switch to assisted living. It is offered but it is a different system than other assisted living places. We would choose Huntley Springs again. Maybe when I reach that age?! Are you ready for that, Dwayne?

When you look at their website, it seems like the typical senior living facility-providing the same activities, dining, movies, philosophy, etc. But what you CAN'T tell from their website is - the level of care that comes from the staff and management - IT IS EXCEPTIONAL!!! From the housekeeping staff, all the way to the managers, esp. the managers. They truly care for the residents as family, and will go out of their way to provide assistance. If they don't have a solution readily in mind, they'll find someone who CAN. They have a wealth of contacts, and are willing to ask for assistance on your behalf. I just went through a traumatic experience where my sister had to be placed in a Memory Care facility, and on top of that, I had to find a new home for her cat, Wrigley. It was a very daunting task, trying to ease my sister's move and trying to console her isolated cat, when ALL the shelters are full and unable to accept ANY new pet. I was becoming stressed out and couldn't make any headway in locating a new owner for Wrigley. The staff lent an ear and offered condolences/advice - some even provided me with names/info on shelters that I could try. I had asked to speak to the managers, Dwayne and Colleen, regarding the procedure for relinquishing the apartment - giving notice, etc. They saw how distraught I was, and encouraged me to "tell all" - offering so much sympathy and support I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I was no longer alone in this ordeal! They had a local shelter contact me (having asked my permission to do so beforehand) that they had worked with previously. And this woman called me a few times w/updates, the ONLY shelter person that actually contacted me back. NONE of the others even acknowledged that I had submitted a "surrender application" or gave me any HINT of a helpful suggestion (or encouragement). A couple of the residents who were cat lovers, assisted me in taking care of Wrigley, checking in on him so he wasn't so alone and providing much needed companionship. And just about everyone I passed in the hall would ask about my sister and/or her cat! I felt immensely better. The best part is - one of the residents fell in love with Wrigley and took him "home" - same building, different unit. (He NEVER had to go to a shelter!) This compassion is NOT that common, and I feel truly blessed that when we chose where my sister should move when she was looking for an independent living facility, that we chose Huntley Springs. This is NOT your usual independent living accommodation! It is more like a huge oversized HOME!!!

My first time visiting mom at Huntley Springs,.The staff are amazing! The residence, that live there, are friendly! I was happy to see that mom likes living there, and has a lot of new friends.

My mother stayed here for 4 yrs. We all loved the place and the staff. Eventually she needed more care and had to leave for assisted living. You can find cheaper places but you wont have the resort atmosphere. A Large theatre, with theatre seats. Not folding chairs. Large meeting rooms. A library and craft room. A billiard table.A doctor is available if needed. Hourly paid helpers if you need them. And a staff that cares. The managers and desk clerk actually helped my mom in the middle of the night ( not their job). It is independent living but she needed help and they assisted her. The place is clean. They actually dust the ceiling lights. Food is good, always a salad bar and two fresh soups. Activities and shows and a shuttle bus to local shopping and doctors. Highly recommended.

My father and his partner have lived at Huntley Springs for almost three years. It has been a wonderful place for them. The staff is friendly, helpful, and kind. They have made a number of good friends. The food is excellent. It is a welcoming place with a warm atmosphere. The staff goes out of their way to meet their needs, help with challenges, and share a positive perspective.

I just wanted to share my thoughts about Huntley Springs. My mom moved into this facility about 6 months or so ago and it is fantastic. The staff is always kind, helpful and friendly. The facility is always clean and kept up. The food is fantastic and is always restaurant quality. The variety is amazing and you can always find something tasty. It is the closest thing to home that you can find. It is like you are on a permanent vacation. Thank you so much for being you! . .

My father has made Huntley Springs his home, it's a beautiful facility with a caring staff and wonderful food. My father enjoys going to the movie theater, playing games, and really likes to have his meals with the other residents. Since Dwayne & Colleen have managed Huntley Springs, we have even noticed that continue to make things even better. If you have parents looking for a great place to retire to, Huntley Springs can't be beat.

A close friend of mine moved into Huntley Springs at the end of November and it has been a life changing experience for her. I am at Huntley Springs visiting her a few times every week and I have to say the place is pretty amazing to the point that when I am out with friends they ask me if I am making a commission or something because I go on an on about how great it is. First of all every person that works there knows my friends name and most know my name. I'd like to mention some names because I feel they deserve to be mentioned: Dwayne and Coleen, Julie and especially Lisa :o) You are the Best!! I have eaten at Huntley Springs many times now and the food is amazing with all sorts of different options/ salad bars etc. The place has a beautiful Movie theatre/ Billiards Room, Library, lots of Fireplaces ,etc. All the residents that I have met are so nice and tell me how much they love living there. My husband and I moved to Huntley Springs in August of this year. We have met so many people here that have made us feel welcome and cared for. Our management team is awesome, they listen and solve. Now that speaks volumes to us on so many levels. We love it here, love the delicious meals 3 times a day and the heartfelt "how are you" It is the best place for us at this time of our lives. Come see for yourself!!

My parents moved in 3 months ago on a trial basis. They quickly realized Huntley Springs was right for them. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean, bright, and safe. The food is good and there are numerous social opportunities. It is care free living in a pleasant environment.

Our mom lived there for 15 months and we had a great experience overall. The live-in managers (Dwayne and Colleen) are AMAZING! And Lisa, the concierge is also AMAZING! Everyone there is authentically friendly and caring, including the maintenance man and housekeeping staff. The restaurant has something for everyone. If you don't like what they are serving for breakfast, you can request a cook-to-order omelet. If lunch doesn't strike your fancy, you can substitute a cook-to-order burger or individual pizza. The soup and salad bar is really really good. The desserts - oooooh la la! If that doesn't strike the resident's fancy they can grab a freshly made sandwich and snacks from the 24-hour pantry! Oh, and I forgot to mention the prime rib Sunday brunch! There should be no reason to complain about the food when there are so many options! The only reason we moved mom out is because we recently retired and felt it was the right time to have her come live with us. We were really happy with Huntley Springs while she was there. Would highly recommend.

My experience with Huntley Springs has been wonderful. Staff is working as a team and everyone ready to help in any area. Managers live on site and are extremely friendly and hands on. Many activities on a daily basis. Beautiful building inside and grounds outside. I would highly recommend this facility for your loved ones.

Beautiful community! Lots of events and activities for residents to attend. Variety of meal options! Management really tries to provide resources for all the residents and give residents access to as many services as possible without having to leave the community! Management really care about the residents and are frequently seen throughout the community!

Huntley Springs has been a God send to our family. My mother is 86 years old and beginning to exhibit signs of dementia. She has lived alone for 30 plus years and was always very active and participated in lots of hobbies and very independent. She has recently lost all interest and stopped cooking. We chose Huntley Springs so that she could maintain her independence, live on her own while having her meals prepared, people available to interact with and numerous activities to participate in if she chooses. From the staff to residents, everyone has been awesome and made us all feel welcome and comfortable with our decision. Special thanks to Julie, Daryl, Justin, and Jennifer times 2. These are just a few of the people that make Huntley Springs a truely special place.

My parents have been there since opening. For months this year they had 1 elderly housekeeper for the entire building. Needless to say the apartments weren't being cleaned as promised. Now they are not providing 24 hour concierge. Lack of staff has been an ongoing problem, and there is no recourse for residents.
