Food is always good. Always at least ten choices lunch and dinner. Always two soup and salad choices at lunch and dinner. Always choice of bmeats and choice of fish. Breakfast meat and eggs. Oatmeal and dry cereals and mixed cut up fruit. Three juice selections. At least five times a week choice of waffles,pancakes,breakfast tacos, and excellent omelets.

I have lived at Adante Independent Living San Antonio for nearly two years. Every day I find some new kindness, something fun that makes me happy, or some activity that boosts my mental and physical health. I am content here. The staff go out of their way to make us comfortable and to accommodate our requests. Everybody smiles here! Meals are served restaurant style in the dining room; the delicious menus continually changing. Living here, I always feel like someone has my back, has an eye out for me without being intrusive. Moving to Adante Independent Living is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I cannot believe I get to live here!

My Mom just loved Adante. The staff was absolutely outstanding. From the wait staff, to maintenance crew, concierges, and administrators. Tiffany, the Executive Director, could not have been more wonderful to Mom. The team always responded to questions/ concerns promptly and friendly. There were lots at activities, in which Mom loved participating. And the food was amazing. My family loved eating there with Mom! Many choices for each meal as well! We are so thankful to the whole team for making Mom so happy.

I can only repeat what I've said before. I'm headed to live at ADANTE AND CHILL OUT in the next few years. My mom has a great apartment, she enjoys all the events and so do I when visiting. Staff and management are always on top of the 5 star service to all Seniors. A few months ago I had dinner at a special event here in Laredo honoring SA Mayor and HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros and he informed me he had his mom at ADANTE and it is certainly #1. I agree. I can't say much more than what he stated to me but Secretary Cisneros was right. ADANTE is the best.

I can't say enough about how Adante has changed my mother's life. She has new friends, new experiences, and excellent care. Now she can relax and enjoy life with no bills to pay, no house to keep up, and no cooking! The entire staff is kind and thoughtful. They treat my mom like family. The director, Tiffany, goes above and beyond for all of her residents. She truly loves them all and it shows in her gentle care and fierce loyalty to them. The housekeeping, dining, and maintenance staff always have a smile on their faces. The answer to every request is "Yes, with pleasure!" Adante is a a place I trust with my most valued family member, my precious mother!

Attended the Phantom of the Opera Black & White Event at Adante with my grandmother and had a blast! The entertainment was spectacular, the atmosphere was set to perfection and the hors d'oeuvres and drinks were excellent as well! I feel so thankful that my grandma has access to such an involved and exciting community here at Adante! Tiffany the director has really outdone herself in every way!

My parents finally decided to move out of their home and into Adante Senior Living. There is a choice of what level community fee you pay. If you pay the lowest community fee, you pay the highest rental rate. The middle tier pays the middle rental rate and then the highest community fee is the lowest rental rate. My parents paid the highest community fee. Their monthly rate is manageable until after their first year. Their first rent increase was around 9%. This made their monthly rent not manageable for long term. So, after paying $15,000 community fee, they were asked to pay even a higher rent. Bottom line, there was no benefit in paying the higher community fee. When my mom asked the office manager about it, she replied "Your getting an increase in your social security." Really?? The food also started going down hill. The quality was just not there any longer. So, thank you to Adante Senior Living, my parents are back in their home and now refuse to move to another facility. 

Beautiful surroundings, beautiful and ample apartments (closet could be a bit larger). They clean your apartment once a week, provide DELICIOUS meals restaurant style not cafeteria style, and have fun activities everyday! They even have a bus to take u to HEB or to your Dr appointment. Most of the residents are over 70, so I'm too young to move in but look forward to the day I can

Adante is absolutely the best place for senior living in San Antonio . My three sisters and I searched through many senior living facilities to find the best place for our parents when it was finally time to find a new downsized home for them to enjoy in their latter years. Dad is now 91 and mom is 84, the only regret we have is that we were not able to get them here sooner. You see, mom and dad had a beautiful home on 2/3 of an acre in San Antonio with beautiful landscaping and a huge garden but unfortunately, too much work. Leaving that home was very hard. After living in Adante, we wish we could've talked them into moving here sooner. That was the most difficult task for us, the children to overcome, but, with my parents being here now for two years, there's no mention of their old home any longer. Adante is now home and they absolutely love it. On day one of our first visit to Adante, what told me more than anything I could be sold on was how happy the residents were that lived here, this speaks volumes. It also speaks volumes about the leadership and attitude of the employees that work here. Thank you Tiffany Dove for that leadership and the so many others that make Adante the nicest place for our loved ones that call it home. The employees that work here genuinely care about giving you or your loved ones the best care possible, they truly love their jobs. Every time I go by to visit, I get smiles and waves from everyone. I write this complimentary letter in hopes that anyone contemplating on finding a great place to live and enjoy their later years in life to consider Adante. The food is fantastic and healthy. If you come for a visit I suggest you request a free meal to try out. The many ammenities are great but what I appreaciate most about Adante is when you look into the eyes of the residents that live here, you get happy smiles back.

My mother-in-law relocated from Arizona to Texas in September. We toured several independent living facilities, but choosing Adante in San Antonio was the best decision we could have made. I’m writing this a week past the terrible freezing weather we had in Texas. Let me just emphasize the professionalism, care and kindness towards the residents and a 100% can-do attitude of each and every staff member. This was no small feat with outages all over our state. During the pandemic, the residents were well protected and among the first to receive vaccines. And as a caregiver, Adante also was able to offer me a vaccine. Amazing! If you or a loved one is looking for a top rate Independent Living facility, you will love Adante and its staff. The facility is gorgeous too!

Ive lived at Adante Independent Living for a little less than 2 years and I love it! There are so many facilities and activities offered that one can stay engaged physically (exercise classes, exercise machines, cardio-drumming, swimming in the summer, etc.) and mentally (our in-house library, lectures, classes, trips to lectures and musical performances, and such). The ambient is inclusive and friendly with conversations with neighbors and staff (OUTSTANDING STAFF) and weekly Happy Hour with live music. Peaceful solitude can be had sitting on your balcony, walking the wooded paths on grounds or across the (busy) street for long strolls in the vast Hardberger Park. I havent mentioned all the good things you would have to discover for yourself but I think anyone would be happy living here.

I sold my home and moved into Adante six (6) months ago, in the middle of COVID-19. Prior to moving into the community, Dawn was awesome and patient in addressing my concerns and answering all of my questions. Adante has a fabulous staff, led by Tiffany who goes over and beyond (always with smiles on their faces). I am so grateful for their creativeness during these circumstances to capture wonderful memories, keep us entertained, tailgates, family and friend talks, face time… keeping us in touch with our love ones. The residents are very friendly too. Living in Adante reminds me of living in a beautifully decorated mansion with a family friendly atmosphere. It is nice that we have the freedom to be sociable or private inside of our apartments, if preferred. Adante offers many activities (i.e., exercise classes, walks, creative crafts…) and games (i.e., mahjong, bridge, rummikub…) that are fun to participate; the best part, there is no extra charge! We even have a movie theater right here in our own community. Now, thats convenience at no additional cost! I appreciate that I dont have to cook and have fresh fruit and fresh salad choices every day. When I lived in my home, fruit and salads spoiled before I could eat it all. I also like that we have three (3) options for lunch or dinner everyday with great desserts too. I am so happy that I joined the Adante Family and love living here!

In these uncertain times of Covid, I think they have done an excellent job of juggling the safety and well being of the residents, while taking into consideration their mental health as well. My mother lived in Adante Independent Living for the past 6 1, 2 years. She loved it there. She moved in when the place first opened. She was 90 years old. Her apartment was beautiful (she had a 2 bedroom) and had a fantastic view from the balcony (3rd floor). The staff was always ready and able to help. Even to hang a picture, fix a faucet, whatever. There were always activities going on but my mother chose not to participate in most....which was fine. She did very much enjoy going down to dinner and eating with friends she made at Adante. It is a lovely community. When my mothers health started to deteriorate, we chose to keep her in the independent apartment and bring in health aides. Adante was fine with this and has a good system for handling such arrangements. The staff in the front office, at the front desk, on the cleaning staff, on the housekeeping staff (Jason, Melvin, and crew), in the dining room, and in the salon...ALL are wonderful and loving. I felt like I had a family there to keep an eye on my mother. I highly recommend Adante.
