My husband and I have lived here going into our 14th year. Our 1 bedroom apartment is very spacious. We live on the first floor and feel secure! It is near to everything a community needs. We have neighbors that have become family to us and neighbors who have become close friends! Management is doing all they can to make this a place we can call "HOME". Thank you Sunstone!

My parents had planned to live here and were all set to move in. At the last moment, the plans changed and they needed to move into assisted living. The property is clean and spacious. The residents and staff very friendly. Management was very understanding of our situation which was great as it was a very stressful time. Definitely recommend Sunstone Apartments!

Sunstone has turned around in the last three months. This has happened primarily due to the employment of Mrs. Diana as assistant manager. Ms Diana has show exceptional support and help to all residents. Her expertise in planning and implementation of activities is outstanding. Most importantly she handles all questions and problems in a timely manner. She is compassionate, outgoing, and responsive to all residents needs. Her people skills are the main reason residents began to come out and enjoy living at Sunstone.

My grandparents lived here for 3 years. The community of residents is welcoming, kind, and supportive. They are the reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 1. The units are spacious and clean, the maintenance guy is friendly and knowledgeable, and that's about all the positive things I have to say about it. The management team is horribly apathetic. Maintenance issues take no less than a month to get looked at, and several more to get resolved. The property manager is never on site, and is impossible to reach. The assistant is only scheduled to be there 3 days a week, and even then, the office is occasionally closed on days it's supposed to be open. The assistant has no authority to say or do anything without the absentee manager's approval, yet she will vehemently refuse to allow you contact the manager directly. Regardless of how long you've lived at Sunstone, if you move to another unit within the community, you must sign a new 1 year lease as if you were a new resident. It does not matter if you had a month-to-month lease at the previous unit, they will not make exceptions for any reason whatsoever. If you have to break said 1 year lease - even if it's because you're moving to an assisted living facility out of medical necessity - you must pay TWO months of rent PLUS an early termination fee. All management will say is "That's the policy, no exceptions." You could try to contact Wirth (the owner) but you will be ignored there, too. My number started being routed to voicemail after 2 follow-up attempts (spaced a week apart, not all within the same day), and I was hung up on after calling from a different number, which was then blocked as well. In summary, unless you have a sharp eye for fine print (which, my grandpa with dementia did not), I recommend looking elsewhere. Edit to add in reply to the response: Jackie, you asked me to call the office number. If you were genuine about discussing anything, why not give me a number or email address I can actually contact you with?

Called today, immediately placed on hold. Person came back asking how they could help me. Again I told them the purpose of my call was to inquire about a one bedroom apartment. They asked my name, I in turn told them I'm calling on behalf of someone else. They never mentioned their name or thanked me for holding. After telling representative/operator I'm calling for someone else and just would like prices and availability. She then said I need a name for someone to get back with me. These were not her exact words, but after putting things together. I realized I was not speaking with the office. FYI, please find another answering service who can be more professional and forthcoming communicating. If not your gonna lose potential renters.

After moving into Sunstone Apartments mid-August, 2020, I have found the management and fellow residents to be very friendly and helpful. I am very well pleased with the quality of my apartment and the complexs amenities, along with the convenience of being close to shopping and interstate access.
