My Mom has lived at Brookdale Heritage Plaze for 7 1/2 years now. The staff has always been very kind and caring and go out of their way to help Mom in anyway she needs. It was a big change for her, but she quickly adapted. She enjoys the other residents and has made many new friends. She enjoys the staff and the actvities. Brookdale staff are just the best and it all starts with Jennifer the director. She is amazing, very calming and takes care of any concerns right away. And shout outs to Carolyn, Brandon, Aaron, Allen, Daniel, Joe and all the kitchen staff, all are wonderful!

We have visited Brookdale Heritage many times for several years now to visit our good friend & neighbor. We stop by at any time, different days and times and it's always a pleasant experience! It feels like home and the kitchen smells delicious. They also always put out snacks & drinks all day. The kitchen is very helpful & kind to accommodate special requests. Also the building is kept so clean. The entire staff have always been welcoming, friendly and so helpful to us and our neighbor with any request he has. They have always found a solution to help him feel safe and comfortable. The most important thing I want to say is that the folks who live there are smiling and completely comfortable living there. I would recommend Brookdale Heritage 100% to anyone looking for a little extra help with independent living.

My mom is very happy at Brookdale. It's a nice size facility where people get to know each other. The staff is very nice and professional and they really care about the residents. They also have lots of activities to choose from. The facility is always clean and well cared for.

My Mother has been a resident here for two years now. We had some concerns about how she would transition to independent living and this has been a completely positive experience. She loves her apartment, she enjoys comaraderie with other residents, and she feels safe. The staff is always friendly and they do a great job of making it fun to live here. There are many fun celebrations and family are always welcome. This is a great place to live and we are very happy our Mother is here.

Brookdale Heritage Plaza is a great community with a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and you can tell they care a lot about the residents and the environment they create there. Aaron in maintenance was especially great to work with ” very knowledgeable, helpful, and clearly takes a lot of pride in the property. Overall a really well run community with a team that goes above and beyond.

My Mom lived here just under one year before she passed. She never had a complaint. I spent the final 5 weeks of her life, living in her apartment to care for her, rather than move her to Assisted Living. The staff became my extended family and treated me as such. When my time comes, I would live there in a heartbeat. The food is amazing and the staff is incredible.

My mom lives here and really enjoys the people who work here. She always has wonderful things to say about the kitchen and office staff. It's been a joy to hear about the friends she's made here as well as hear about people who have moved into the community that I've known from when I was a child. Communication is a strong point with office staff, which I have been grateful for. My mom wishes there was a pool or hot tub available on-site, but I think she is happy otherwise.

My mother has been at this Brookdale for going on 4 years. The staff is amazing, the food is good. The activities and community events are wonderful for her. The staff knows me and calls me by name when I am there. They go above and beyond for an independent living facility. My Grandparents absolutely love it here. They tell us each time how kind and friendly the staff is. They are so content and happy with he themed dinners and activities being close the mall and making great friends. So thankful they found this place. And thank you Brookdale staff!!!

I moved in here some time ago, years, and lived through lockdown. The staff here has been lifesavers at times but more than that they have become friends. While I was sick the kitchen staff went out of their way to make sure they found something I could eat and make it tasty. Even office staff and other departments have gone beyond their job description to make life pleasant.

Our father is living in Brookdale Heritage Plaza. The administration staff was so helpful in the transition of moving our father into an apartment and are always willing to answer questions or requests to check on our father when we have concerns. All of the staff has been very friendly, very caring and helpful to Dad and to the family when we visit. A special shout out to the kitchen staff for making Dad feel at home by keeping his coffee cup filled and joking with him. The dining room is clean with the tables set nicely and the food is delicious. They offer weekly housekeeping with bed linen changes and laundered. They offer lots of different activities onsite and have a bus for transportation. This is a very nice community with caring staff and well maintained facilities.

In June of 2020, during the middle of the pandemic, I was looking for a independent living community to move a family member from out of state. She had had a bad experience in another community and suffered a tremendous loss. She wanted to move back to her old home town and I needed to find a community that would embody the fact that she was home and I couldn't be more pleased with Brookdale Heritage Plaza. The staff are incredible in all areas and treat my family member as if she is a part of the Brookdale family with kindness, empathy and a welcoming smile. Because I live long distance, I rely on their eyes and ears to help me know when my family member is struggling or happy. I rely heavily on their weekly bus service to get my family member to appointments and critical doctor's visits. Their activities, amenities, and food are fantastic and just add to the atmosphere of a home-town community. I highly recommend Brookdale Heritage Plaza for anyone who wants to feel comfortable that their loved one is in a safe, nurturing and friendly environment. Thanks so much to the staff for all you do for me!

Brookdale Independent Living is a great place for both residents and family and friends who visit. Most of the staff have been at Brookdale for a while. The facility is clean and well maintained and the staff are wonderful. They know all the residents and work hard to give them their independence as well as keeping a close eye on them. The food is great and you can join anytime for a small price. Each month they host wonderful dinners for residents and guests. The staff goes the extra mile to make sure the residents have what they need and want to live a comfortable and happy life. As a family member it is a comfort to know that we can trust where our family member lives.

What a charming oasis! My mother-in-law lives here and we were invited to family night for an Easter dinner. I was blown away by how genuinely nice the entire team was and the beautiful facilities with amenities galore. I don’t know what I was expecting but I was truly blown away.

We found the staff and administration to be caring, helpful and kind during our family member's stay. Their dedication to residents and their families is evident in all they do. They showed generosity and compassion in challenging situations, which was much appreciated. The building is laid out well and feels spacious. The food was nutritious and delicious, and there were always plenty of choices. The housekeeper was very efficient and did a great job every week. Residents were very welcoming and friendly. We had a great experience with Brookdale Heritage Plaza!

5 star, second to none, great staff, food, and apartments! Prior to the Covid 19 Virus, they offered many outside activities including bus ride trips to the beach, shopping, doctors appointments, etc.! They care big time about their residents.

This has been my home for almost two years. I am very happy and extremely content here. The staff treat us all with respect and dignity and are very loving and caring. The food is exceptional and very filling! Amber the lead housekeeper is amazing and she and her crew are always willing to do anything you might need. Destiny, our activities director has done an amazing job of finding activities throughout the pandemic times and since. I love it here!!

My parents have been living at Brookdale for several years now and they tell me over and over how blessed they are to be there. I spend a week to a month with them every year and can see and experience for myself that they are in a good place. The residents treat one another like family and friends, creating a comfortable and supportive atmosphere. This spirit is very much fostered by the devoted staff. Valerie's management style is open door, attentive, generous. She models to staff and residents how to look after one another, how to pitch in, how to have fun. And it catches on. My parents often marvel at how the staff are so quick to learn everyone's names, to give them that extra bit of attentiveness, to exercise kindness and good humour. This is a happy place, a caring place. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to call home--for themselves or for a loved one.

I have visited there several times as I have friends who live there. I have always found the staff friendly and quite considerate, not only to me but I notice the kindness they often show to the residents. I have talked with several residence and they tell me they like it there and are contented to be there. I've also have had several meals there and really like the idea that I can see the food before I choose what I would like to eat. The helpers are always waiting to carry your tray to your table for you if you need them to. I've found the food to be very attractive prepared and served. Also quite tasty. The residents tell me they like the food there. The place is always clean and I always feel welcome to come there any time. It is centered near a shopping center so if you are able you can go shopping by yourself alto they do have a bus that takes you shopping and also other places. Good location.

This building is amazing the staff are all very dedicated to providing everything the residents need to enjoy thier stay. This building has a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend this building if your looking for a place for yourself or a loved one.

The people greeting me at the door are always cheerful. I meet several people who reside there whom I have known while they lived in surrounding community which is always a pleasure. Have been shown the units and they look comfortable and would enjoy the garden spaces where could grow plants. Have attended luncheons several times which are always a new flavorful experience. I am a puzzle addict so always enjoy working on the puzzle in progress on table. I enjoy their varied entertainment venue. Also like to get my hair fixed at the in-house salon.

I have lived here almost 6 years and am really happy here. The food is great and there are lots of activities. You can be with friends or be alone whenever you want to. I can walk to doctors and shopping or take the bus twice a week.
