I recently visited The Village of Tanglewood to visit a resident during the World Cup final, and it was such a wonderful experience. The entire community was full of excitement, with residents enjoying a lively watch party complete with drinks, snacks, and great company. It truly felt like a celebration. The community itself is absolutely beautiful and elegant. Fresh flowers were displayed throughout the property, and the dining room was one of the most stunning spaces I’ve seen. Everything was impeccably maintained and felt more like a luxury resort. What impressed me the most, however, was the people. Every team member I met was genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive. The residents were just as kind and hospitable, making me feel like part of the celebration from the moment I arrived. It was a memorable visit, and I can see why so many people love calling The Village of Tanglewood home.

Excellent location in the Galleria area. Management is noticeably responsive to resident needs. Hospitable Dining Room staff . Meals prepared with attention to needs and preferences of residents. A full complement of activities includes a library of best-selling books and an arrangement with the public library for a rotating collection of book loans. Rhonda Lofton, our executive director sets the tone of outstanding management; from there, it is a trickle down effect with Robby Lobue as maintenance director, Tony Bejko as culinary director, and Dennis Leverett as activities director. Janice Foster, our business office manager, is always ready to help us. We residents spend our golden years in a great atmosphere that we deserve. We have joyful living in a community that we love.

This is a wonderful community to live in, the food is excellent, a lot of different activities, and the upkeep/maintenance is very quick to respond and resolve issues, and every team member is always happy and greet you no matter how many times a day they see you. I love living at Tanglewood! I’ve been here over a year and I’m clearly impressed by the constant upkeep, new paint, new carpet, and the attention to details. All of the staff is responsive and helpful and friendly. The dining room and staff are exceptional with many choices every day to suit everyone. We have a wide range of activities and parties. It makes for a lively atmosphere. The staff is exceptional and always ready with a smile to help in any way. I am extremely happy to live here, and I feel extremely safe. I would hardly recommend this to anyone. I’d like to update my previous review, to include special remarks about the dining room services: The range and quality of the meals is excellent! Each day has choices for salads, entr©es, side, dishes, and desserts in a wide variety and delicious. In addition, there is an always available menu, which has something for everyone. There is both quality and quantity. One of my favorites is to have fresh fruit daily. And the cooking and wait staff are friendly and helpful with anything you need!!

I just moved my mom into Village of Tanglewood this past weekend. The experience was fantastic. Their entire staff from leadership to the front desk to the maintenance crew were incredibly nice and helpful. So were the residents. I believe we made a great decision choosing V of T after touring 4-5 different options.

As a fairly new residents our experience has been very positive. Residents are always treated with dignity and respect by all members of the staff, service is exceptional. Management is very responsive to the inquiries, requests and the needs of the residents in a timely manner. The building, apartments and grounds are well maintained. A major contributing factor to our decision to live here was the presence of the emergency generator which provides power to the whole building in the event of the loss of commercial power. This was proven to work well during the past 2 storms when the power was out all around us and we continued to function normally.

My sister, mother, and I met with Lolly Erwin last week. She gave us a full tour, answered all of our questions, and had lunch with us (which was delicious!). We thought the one-bedroom was perfect for mom, with new quartz countertops, appliances, and flooring. The residents seemed welcoming, and mom can’t wait to get moved in and meet more of them and take part in the many activities.

A special group dinner in the private dining room for birthday celebration of a mutual friend It was a lovely setting, the food was very delicious and the menu options were incredible! The service people were friendly and fun and their service was fantastic. Every part of the experience was perfect and all in our party are looking forward to doing this again. KUDOS to all the staff from the reception attendant, dinner service people, chef and top management, all of which looked in on us to see if anything more was desired.

My mother searched everywhere in the area before moving to Village of Tanglewood about two months ago. While there are some fancier or newer facilities around, they do not offer the same level of staff friendliness, community, and overall environment. The property is well managed and demonstrates a long track-record of service to its residents.

I have been living here at the Village of Tanglewood for over one year. From the very first I loved the feeling of being part of a family. I have a 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen washer dryer & a balcony overlooking the garden I have made many friends because it is a small Community & there are a lot of activities IF you want to participate. During the recent storm & all through the covid crisis we were taken care of ...& every single employee from directors to maintenance to housekeeping & dining room chefs & servers & transportation drivers were excellent ! I feel fortunate to have found this community.!!

A lovely community and it's obvious that Gina and her staff are really caring about their residents. They are navigating a very difficult time with grace and using common sense to implement and enforce policies that have residents' overall wellness as their priority Tenisha who is at the front desk on Saturdays is also a gem!

Pretty nice place! Although I’m not a resident myself, the staff seems nice and there are a lot of various activities planned daily. Plus, there’s a parking lot for visitors, a pool, a mailroom, a hair salon (I think), etc.

I been visiting assisted living homes, but this is superb. The setting is beyond great. I love everything about this place. And the staffs are Angels, so kind and humble. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to lively at home.
