2nd floor smelled nice. However, entry floor smelled a little like urine. New furniture and new paint look nice. Pleaee sanitize or at leadt wipe down board games and checker pieces. They are VERY, VERY dirty. Happy to volunteer to do this on one of my visits. Staff are very nice. Overall, a great experience.

Lisa and her team do an amazing job with their residents and staff at The Waterford/Mesquite. I have visited this facility multiple times and have found it spotless, the staff attentive, the residents enjoying activities and social interactions....and...the location smells amazing, not like many of those 'other' places. We love the team and Carrie at The Waterford. They always makes every person walking in the door feel welcome and like you’re at home. They have great communication and their care is top-notch. I would highly recommend them to any family.

This is a very welcoming independent living community. My grandmother has lived here for almost a year. There are 3 meals a day, many activities, and the staff is great. Lisa is the manager and truly loves the residents. Carrie handles sales, and wants to offer the exact apartment needed. My grandmother is safe and comfortable here. The staff truly care about her. They offer assisted services or we can bring in our own help, if needed. Ernesto is quick to address any repairs or issues. It is a little older building, but us well maintained. Food is overall good. If the menu is not what you want, there are several other options every day. I highly recommend.

Only one washer and dryer working on 1st floor west. Carpets need cleaned. Signs on stairwells says not to be used for storage per fire Marshall but they are used as storage.

The elevator to the third floor is broken again. This is really getting to be old. It’s a health hazard for those who can’t walk up and down the stairs and is totally unacceptable at this point. It’s probably time to look for another apartment complex.

For some reason I heard a lot of complaints today from the awful food to the fact that they are doing a poor job of cleaning the residents room. The guy came in to clean and did the bare minimum of what he needed to do. These people are paying a ridiculous amount and not getting anything.

My mom lived here for approx. 3 years. If your loved one needs additional care, this properties has outside caregivers that you can CHOOSE from to care for your loved one. For some reason management ([name removed]) will push Pearls Care on you and Pearls Care will offer lower rates, but I DO NOT recommend them!! There is nothing good I can say about the service we received from them. It was horrible! They will charge you for services not performed and then the owner of Pearls Care ([name removed]) will straight face lie to you about it. I had a camera in my moms room so I had proof, but she still stuck to her story. Some of her workers would yell and cuss at my mom if they had to clean up after her, they were not bathing her, but saying they were & some days she didn't get all of her meals. Many have complained to management, but for some reason they just keep recommending them. We switched to EVE'S CARE (214-335-2328) and she was wonderful. I highly, highly recommend her. She was very attentive, went above and beyond and always made my mom feel safe, secure and cared for. In fact she still visits mom at her new place. In regards to the facility, the building is kept in good condition. The activities were good in the beginning, but they lost their activities director and didn't replace her, so the activities dropped off dramatically. The food initially was not bad, but it continually worsened to the point that it just looked like slop most days. The housekeeping ladies are excellent and clean the rooms thoroughly on a weekly basis.

The Waterford At Mesquite is wonderfully supportive in helping my dad transition back to independent living after his surgery. While I handle his caregiving, the staff consistently keeps me informed whenever he needs assistance. The community here makes such a difference for him”even the pastor at the weekly service says a prayer for his recovery. After nearly two years, he truly feels a sense of belonging and connection. I’m grateful for the caring, compassionate environment they provide!

I went here to pick up some people and while waiting, I noticed the decorations for their Halloween party. Then I went back another day just before Thanksgiving to pick up another person and noticed their decor for Thanksgiving. It was a fun place to be and see. The residents seem genuinely happy. I see they have an awesome average rating and I totally agree with it. I've walked around the place to go get my person and it not only looks clean, it also does not have any odors. Great job guys!! ‘‘

My Mother-in-Law wanted to move closer to us, and we chose The Waterford at Mesquite for its location, and because of the great staff we met there. The rooms are very nice, and reasonably priced. The facility is very nice overall, with a lovely big dining room where the residents have a choice of the food on the menu or alternatives are available. The activities include crafts, games, puzzles everywhere and even presentations from local musicians or chefs. If you’re looking for an independent living option, schedule a tour at The Waterford @ Mesquite. I think the caring staff, great floorplans and beauty of the facility will impress you. The staff is friendly. The fact that I have to sign in when I visit is a good safety precaution. The activities Waterford provides are great. I really like the monthly calendar that tells my mom what she may like to participate in. My mom's room is just the right size. I feel very comfortable when I visit.

I am very impressed with The Waterford at Mesquite. The staff are very personable and seem to really care about the residents. Jennie, the activities director does an excellent job. She is always making sure the residents stay active and have something to keep them occupied. Everyone at the front desk is always so upbeat and willing to assist with any situation. Very glad that I found this facility for my sister who is a resident there since February 2021.
