The facility is lovely and the staff are friendly and accommodating. However, the food in the dining room is horrible. Often it's unedible, with very little accommodation for residents with a gluten intolerance. 🙁

Its normal to feel worried and unsure of what, where & when you belong at Steeplechase. I Still am amazed how wonderful everyone was/is making me feel ..." special, kind, caring and hard working!!! Everyone does any and every thing to make Steeplechase feel like home.

What is there to know about Steeplechase? Plenty! First thing is everyone working there has a contagious positive attitude as well as a great smile, this is a friendly place! If you want to live out your golden years gracefully? in my opinion this is by far the very finest there is and is a cut above! They have 3 chefs on there staff who prepare excellent meals for the residents daily. Just about everything the residents want there thay have a staff member to take care of there needs Quickly making the potential stress levels very very LOW for the residents who live there. It'is a nice place to visit and I definitely would like to live here when it becomes necessary for me. Bottom line, if your a senior and want to live independently but no longer want to work around the house for any reason? You don't want to shop cook clean the house and want your privacy? Look no further! If you are in need of more help or have serious medical issues, again Steeplechase has services and can accommodate people who need palliative care, it is my understanding that you are looking at a good place for seniors who want and need that higher level of care but want to live at home and not a hospital. I highly recommend you look into this organization as they have many locations throughout the country. I'm hoping my fellow senior friends find this review helpful. Been here almost a year now and could not be happier. Even though it is an Independent complex, help is never far away. The food prepared by professional chefs is great, with several choices available at every meal. Meals are served restaurant style by the nicest young people you will ever meet. If you want to be Independent but no longer want to care for your home or even give up driving, this is the place to be. The drivers take you shopping and to all Dr. appointments all with a smile.

My 87-year-old mother cant say enough good things about the care she receives from the staff at Steeplechase in Oxford. From the management team to the housekeeping staff to the high school kids who work there - everyone is very caring, conscientious and professional. During these especially trying times they have done everything reasonably possible to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents. Mom really enjoys the food, which is always served hot. My sincere thanks to everyone there for the care and friendship they have shown Mom.

I have been here since August, 2020. Widowed for 11 yrs & needed oxygen 24, 7 since Dec 2019. It was time to get help with meals, etc. Steeplechase was the best decision I could have chosen. Management, waitstaff & most residents are great. Meals are very good. Other services offered are a huge help to those of us in poor health & elderly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for independent living.

I visited my Grandma about a month ago and was able to tour Steeplechase. What a beautiful facility with very kind and caring staff! They truly treat her like she is their family. The staff was following all proper protocol regarding covid, wearing masks, social distancing and limiting guests. My Grandma really enjoys it there. They have done a fantastic job keeping their residents active and engaged during the pandemic, something that is difficult for many facilities to do! Thank you Steelplechase 🙂

I have been a resident here for 5 and a half years. I am very happy and content here. They have many activities if you want to take ,the staff are all very helpful. Even at this trying time they take good care of us and do everything to keep us safe

Iam so pleased with Steeplechase community for my Mom! She has lived there for 6 months and is very happy! The staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel like family! The food is fantastic and the activities are fun and engaging! Keep up the good work Steeplechase!

Rented a Studio from Steeplechase and can not believe the kind treatment from my first e mail inquiring to arranging to move. Laura was the first contact. A daughter could not be more concerned and kind. Then there are James and John( hope I have names right) and their wifes who are all kind beyond..... much fun and laughing during the sign up process. Wonderful place, cant wait for two more weeks to actually move in. Visited with my grandaughter and she was impressed too. She works in a rehab, nursing home and sees a lot of older people. Here everyone passing by seemed happy and cheerful. I think I hit the Jackpot
