This is an excellent retirement community. The amenities and hospitality are outstanding and top tier. Staff and residents are friendly and bright. When making a choice on such a major change for your love one, things of most importance to consider and safety, comfort and the sense that every resident is respected and truly made to feel apart of the community. This location excels in all of these. The food services, and dining atmosphere is on par with many fine restaurants. Before you agree to any other retirement community I recommend you give this one a good look.

Adrianna is a wonderful manager and very kind. Montara Meadows seems expensive but is much more reasonably priced compared to other Independent Living apartments. It is in a very convenient location, and they offer a plethora of activities. My biggest disappointment was not being able to go on but a couple of outings. The same group of people go on the outings, so I was stuck in my room. Montara Meadows is a good place to call home.

The staff is always welcoming, kind, and respectful to both residents and visitors. The building is clean, well maintained, and has a warm, comfortable atmosphere. There are activities to keep residents engaged, and the overall environment feels safe and friendly. I relocated back to Vegas last November. The staff, is top notch. The place is well equipped with everything you could want as a senior citizen. I'm an advocate volunteer and enjoy calling bingo, making candles, playing various games; enjoying food prepared for every meal in our beautiful dining room. While some folks think it's a tad bit expensive.. if you realize everything that is included, it is a great deal. No vehicle is needed as we have a bus and excellent driver available Monday thru Friday to transport us to Dr apps, shopping, community events. Etc. I hope you will check it out before you make your selection for your future residency.

I’m a health care provider and I’ve been coming to Montara Meadows on and off for years. I’ve visited different health care facilities, assisted living, independent living facilities throughout the valley working in home health field for the past 20+ years. I find Montara Meadows quiet, homey with their mature, grown trees, plants, greenery throughout. They have grass, place is green. Such feeling you don’t get much in dry, rocky, sandy Las Vegas. The units are clean, quiet, with their balconies shaded from the mature decade old trees, leaves reaching out, it’s private, tranquil. That, and the place is affordable. We know the steep costs of staying in assisted/independent living facilities. The staff are nice, helpful. With its green environment and affordability, it’s a place to consider for love ones.

After many years of performing on the Las Vegas Strip, headlining on cruise ships, touring the U.S. and a few foreign countries, I have discovered my passion for performimg for senior audiences. Today I appear three to five times a week at different communities. The people living at Montaro Meadows are contagiously happy, probably due to the many events offered. The Montaro staff is friendly, inviting, and helpful. If I had a friend or relative seeking such a residence, I would certainly consider Montaro Meadows in Las Vegas.

I am very pleased with the process of moving my mom in. She is very happy in her one bedroom thanks to Adrianna and Millie. These ladies are top notch and very knowledgeable and hands on. As for the resident's, I have met a few myself and their kindness shines. They've even asked me about mom and it was just her first week. Food, yum nothing bad yet. I ate the taco salad with mom the first night and ooooo eeeee it was delicious. I will say they are slightly short staffed for serving, but I am sure they are working on rectifying that. They really show they care. Thank you again and Please keep up the great work! Home is what you make it, if you don't get out to meet people then you may not love everything, but if you get yourself out of the room even just once in a while you will see that it can be a great place to call your own. I need to update my review as of July 6, 2025 Adriana, Lizette, Zac, Priscilla, Shauna, Millie, and the entire Montara staff went into action after the devastating loss of power for the entire property for about 3-4 days due to downed power wires and an insane windstorm here in Vegas. They met the needs of the community no matter how tired they were, made sure all seniors were attended to and accounted for, used the local resources through the county and the Red Cross. So much so, my mom wanted to be with her friends at the Convention center. They made that place Montara 2.0 for a few days. I am so grateful they love their residents and don't just see dollar signs. Atria needs to really watch the care that goes into this team, copy and paste for all their locations. Thank you for everything you do! PS, thank you, fire and rescue, and Metro for stepping up, and also the bus company that sat there a few days with a cold bus in one spot for the seniors.

My experience with Holiday Montara Meadows has been absolutely wonderful. From the moment we toured the community, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The staff truly go above and beyond”they know residents by name and treat everyone like family. My loved one felt at home almost immediately. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the apartments are spacious, clean, and bright. The dining service is impressive”meals are delicious, well-balanced, and feel like something you’d get in a nice restaurant. The East Coast Sensation

The place is really nice. It gives a great feel when you walk in. With the new renovations that were done was ok. Not sure why they kept the old floors and never finished painting the other walls. Plus, they kept the old furniture. Nothing really matched. To many different patterns. They should have just left it alone at that point. There was never a funky smell or bad order like some of the other places we visited. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. There are a lot of amenities. Pool, jacuzzi, exercise room, library, chapel/theater room and big hall to have events. The room we got was brand new. Very nicely done. This biggest issue was and as I was told about places like this was always the quality of the food. Some of the dishes were not even edible. Residence constantly complaining. I understand it can't be a home run every time but feeding frozen food and food that some residents should not be eating because of diabetes or high blood pressure is just not right. And for the price that you're paying, it's just not worth it. This was the dealbreaker. So my mother and many other residents have decided to move out. As much as I love the idea that my mother can get three meals a day. She rather just cook them to herself. Because the qualities just not there. It's just disgusting. She won't eat that.

My mom recently moved into Montara Meadows Senior Living Facility in Las Vegas NV. She absolutely loves being there and is rapidly adapting to her new home. There are many activities each day available for residents, and the food is outstanding! The entire staff are all very professional, friendly, caring, and genuinely nice people. Millie Barrieta ( the community sales manager) did an exceptional job ensuring that my Mom’s move went smoothly. My brothers and I were very impressed! I would highly recommend Montara Meadows to anyone interested in moving to a senior living facility. 2/22/25: This is another review for Monterra Meadows. Lizett at the front desk took my call. I needed to relay a message to my mom. She was very helpful and sympathetic to my needs. They care about all the residents and pretty much know what all their different needs are. I toured Montara Meadows 3 times and finally moved my mom in. Milly’s sweetness sold me right away. She was loving and caring about my mom’s new transition. Adriana, the General manager, was one day in the pool with the ladies doing a water aerobics class. The staff was just so involved. Adriana, Lizette, and Milly were always walking the facility to make sure everyone was comfortable and if their needs were being met. Love it there!!!

I will be starting my fourth year living at Montara Meadows in Las Vegas, NV. It is a unique senior independent living community with four three story apartments. As I have two dedicated terrier dogs the expansive and sedate backyard provides a sense of a small wood that me and my boys dearly enjoy. With a recent change in senior management here the morale and quality of life has risen significantly. Comprised of friendly staff, residents and a few old coot’s Montara Meadows is a place I lovingly call home. I recommend this place highly to any and all.

Very Thankful on this 2023 Thanksgiving Day, and a positive "shout out" to all the folks that manage/operate the Montara Meadows Senior Living Facility located in Las Vegas, NV !! What a terrific experience my entire Family encountered, touring & interacting with all the folks managing the Facility...everyone made my Mom feel "Safe" & @ "Home", as she was a bit reluctant to move once again, but fully knew she needed a bit more assistance and needed to be with other folks in her same "walk of life". My siblings and I knew once we toured Montara Meadows, it was the right "fit" for our Mom, after touring multiple other Senior Living Facilities in the area....it just fit her personality/needs perfectly and the food is truly Chef prepared every day...it's really good...we all ate at the Restaurant often while moving our Mom into her new Apartment ! Last, an absolute huge "Shout Out", on behalf of our entire Family to Millie Barrueta (Community Sales Manager) who made this move happen and assisted us every step of the way thru the entire transition/move process and continues every day to ensure our Mom & all the other Residents, are integrating quickly into the entire Montara Family including participating in all the various Planned Activities (Especially Bingo...LOL). Cristina Perez, Adriana Falcon, Activities Director, Charlie/Father Guillen (Maintenance), Leoron/Security...the list of solid support exists throughout their entire Facility Support Group ! Bottom line...as my Sibblings/I observed all the Residents over various days ...they were all extremely Happy/Content at Montara Meadows and that is what made up our final decision to move in immediately ! A terrific Senior Living place located in Las Vegas, NV for your aging Parents to potentially "Live" !!

This place has a lot to be desired. Beware, you are told lies, they tell you what they think you want to hear, Internet is not $30, if your lucky maybe $60. They charge $5 to bring you each meal to your room and you never get the extras like soup or salad. They say they are replacing the rugs in the different buildings, lie, they had ithe rugs cleaned instead of new rugs. Every meeting or so it seems is cancelled. Manager is very, very foul mouthed.and very racist. I couldn't believe the nasty things she yelled at my moving men. Instead of in a calm and I'm the manager voice and words she was horrible. My first 2 hours there and she belittled me in front if many many residents. I left before my time was up, I couldn't wait to leave. They caused so much stress and they still send me a bill, which i will never pay. Think twice and barter the rate for the room. Several hundres savings a month.

When I first came here on November 2022 I didn’t have idea was a was walking too my kids name the decision and told me that this would be my home, they told me the 1day mom you are going to go down for breakfast first people that I meet here was Angie and husband that make me feel very welcome, I wasn’t to happy with the food or activities from the time that Adriana Falcon had come here has been a fantastic change with everything she has make every resident feel that they are important they isn’t a meal time that goes by and she is not there welcoming everyone as far as the food can be better not only in quality but in quantity, now is many more activities that we enjoy and I’m very happy with, biggest concern is transportation should be more hours and all week long not only for doctors appt. I think a day out activities would be great that driver can droops us off and take us after such as a restaurants dinner, casino or any other out ideas. I myself can honestly said today that I become a happy person here after I meet Adriana and the importance that I have now in Montara Meadows I’m very involved with activities and everything else since I became an ambassador and make many friends. Millie has help me become out ambassador way before I start she would always bring new residents to welcome them and Im really enjoying that. I’m very happy to said that this is my new home and I feel happy about it. I thank Adriana, Millie and all other employees such a Priscilla and Cristina

The staff, residents and the price are nice. I found this place for a friend who has dialysis 3xs a week. I was told that they would get her to and from by their bus or personally. In reality they cant register the bus and even if it were, they stop driving @2pm which is before dialysis even starts. I picked this place because of that assurance. Shes in her lease for 3mo. So we have to deal with it. My friend likes it there so..™ at least I can go swimming.

Took a neighbor to see the place she is 84. This is great living let me tell you. 2175 for a 1 bed room but you get 3 meals a day in a dining hall, cable tv, utilities, activities, indoor pool and out door pool, a shuttle that takes you to Drs or around town 4xs a week someone comes cleans once a week! Why isn't this around for single people who aren't senior citizens yet! Lots of great staff members including Millie the asst GM.

Brought in my 95 year old uncle, who was looking for a place he would feel safer in. The first apartment we were shown was perfect for him. Within an hour we had finished the paperwork and had a delicious lunch (pecan crusted fish) while waiting for the paperwork to be finished. Everyone was sweet as could be to both my uncle and I and the residents we ran into seemed happy. The facilities are impressive and the price is extremely reasonable.
