My cousin lived here for a few years and we visited and were so impressed that we encouraged an older friend to check it out. Our friend just moved in this month! We tell our friends that it is like living at resort, just no pool!

This review is from my mom who moved in the independent living complex at the end of April she loves her apartment and have met many of the residents whom she says are very nice and also the staff is very friendly. She said the food is ok.

I have been a resident here since January 28,2023. Prior to that I lived in an apartment with stairs. When I fractured my back I became home bound, since I moved here I can get around, mingle and make new friends. They have many activities. I participate in the ones I am interested in. The service is very good, there is a thoughtful staff and employees, they go out of their way to accommodate me, the food is very good, with choices at each meal. I feel that I am where I need to be. I highly recommend Truewood by Merrill.

Worlds worst food. Entrees are all processed foods. To night I was served a fillet of fish baked so hard I couldn’t cut with my knife. Along with that were a pile of burnt black fries. Unfortunately this is typical. A neighbor was served a sandwich with bread so stale it broke up when she picked it up. These are typical at both lunch and dinner.
