I manage my brothers affairs due to an injury he had early in his life. We moved him into Holiday Columbia Pines approximately 2 years ago. I have had a number of occasions where I needed help from the staff with various inquiries and requests. They have always been very accessible and willing to help. They always have my brothers interest in mind and are very proactive in reaching out to me if they have any concerns about his health or well being. I have worked very closely with Jeremiah, Vondra and Jill and they have been great. Allen always has good things to say about his time there, the great meals and the many friends he has made. This facility is unlike any other facility that I have ever been to. There is a sense of community and family. The staff are phenomenal and are always willing to help. When it’s my time to retire, I plan on coming here because it’s such a great place

My parents live in a retirement community in Charlotte, NC, and, after failing to find a living arrangement in Charlotte that I could afford, they settled on Columbia Pines, which is about a 90-minute drive from them. (That's far enough to provide a suitable buffer -- it's convenient for them to visit me, but it's far enough that they're not here all the time.) I relocated in June of 2023 from Jersey City, NJ ... and I don't miss the Northeastern weather.

March 9 2026 I have been here approximately three months. It is a nice facility however it is advertised as luxury independent living facility which it is not. There are many residents here who cannot walk without a walker or wheel chair. A few use scooters. Some residents are bed ridden. Many residents have caregivers. The kitchen service needs major improvement. This includes food preparation, service and nutrition. The apartments are nice and the building is clean. Staff is helpful.

Very friendly 55 plus community . Apartments are bright and clean and come with Spectrum cable , electric, water and meals . Parking spots are available if you have a car and pets are allowed . Lots of activities to choose from daily keeps my mom active and happy

I moved my mom in over the holidays and her sister came to stay with her for the holidays. They both really like how well run the complex is managed so my aunt decided she wanted to stay. Management and staff really seem to enjoy their jobs and the residents as well which makes it so much easier.

Before I had even made it to the front desk, I was met by both the manager and assistant manager, who greeted me by name. Not only was the tour itself comprehensive and enjoyable, but they were able to answer every question I had (and I was FULL of questions!). Everyone we encountered during my visit, staff and residents alike, were welcoming and friendly. You know how you just get a "vibe" from a place? Columbia Pines gave me all the good vibes. I had tours scheduled for this same day - and I went to them, but for the atmosphere, the people, the amenities, the price, and the spectacular location, Columbia Pines was the clear favorite. My mom will definitely be calling Columbia Pines "home."

Great folks, clean community, lot of activities available. A hidden gem in Forest Acres. My mother has lived at Columbia Pines for two months, the staff is great! Jill, the sales person was helpful getting us placed quick. Jeremiah the property manager, is always kind and helpful as well as Vonda the office manager and Vanessa at reception. Great meals, great staff, great community. I have and will recommend Holiday Columbia Pines.

I find Holiday Columbia Pines to be a very pleasant place to live. Great management and employees. The cafeteria and food is excellent. The Chef and his staff are very good . The facility offers great activities. They also provide transportation to Walmart weekly and occasional trips to restaurants. All in all, it is a great place for senior living. s.

Columbia Pines is in a quiet neighborhood. The building has obviously undergone refurbishments and changes. The friendly staff is eager to help all residents. The activities are several times daily. One of the better places imo.

The place is nice. Vanessa is fantastic! They got rid of the person who was bringing the place down. I think Columbia Pines is good for anyone looking to place their relative in assisted living. But, keep your room clean because they do inspections....

Jeremiah was very welcoming and considerate when we first met and previewed the property, available apartments and floor plans. The Holiday property is centrally located in Columbia, SC, has several on site amenities, fleshly prepared meals 3 times a day, cleaning services and linen services. If you (or a loved one) are at the stage where you are ready to down size and simplify daily activities or obligations, I would recommend contacting Jeremiah for a tour.

My parents have lived at Forest Pines for fourteen months. In searching for a home, I wanted them to be safe, comfortable and happy. They had lived in a house for over sixty years, so this was an adjustment. I explored several options in Columbia and Forest Pines was the BEST option. I ran hospitals for fifty years, so I know delivering great service is a challenge. And Forest Pines is not perfect. But it is ALL about how they compare to the alternatives and they came out on the top of the list.
