This is a very special place If you are looking to downsize or simplify your life If you are an older person who still gets around, but just need a little help sometimes If you would like a great alternative to the loneliness and isolation that can come with getting older A place like this can change your life for the better. How do we know? Because it has happened to myself and my wife. We were facing some difficult situations, but we absolutely love living here. The scope of the amenities provided “ even home-cooked meals “ is simply amazing. As others have noted, this staff is incredibly warm and go out of their way at all times to be helpful. But the acid test is the other residents. They will walk up to you and Introduce themselves to you, they will invite you to sit with them for meals or during activity times. And we have yet to hear anyone complain. Maintenance request are very promptly handled, housekeeping is very efficient and the apartments themselves are just beautiful! If you are scoping out living arrangements for yourself or a loved one this place should be on your shortlist to take a tour. Get a hold of the director of sales, and they will be more than happy to show you through the facility (truly impressive in appearance) and answer any questions you might have. My wife and I thank God that we have found this place and we hope to be living here for many years to come. To the staff and management: WELL DONE!!

I was so excited to visit and to meet the new team in place- both Scott the Director and Tim in sales. There's was a warmth to the community and it was nice to see all of the residents enjoying their time together. I can't wait to see all you do. You both seem very invested in making it a great place to live.

Nothing is as it was when we first signed to move here.,... there's a so called chef that doesn't know how to do basic cooking and acts like he is a very good kitchen manager and continually only makes the same recipe for the chicken, pork and sometimes Chile or soup using the leftovers from the last few days.,..

I was looking for a place for my grandma- toured - beautiful community friendly staff, residents looked happy and engaged. I would definitely recommend!
January 2026
Beautiful community - open and welcoming, newly renovated. The staff is kind and caring. And many residents took the time to visit with me and tell me about the positive experience they've had moving from home to Independent Living.

My mother moved in a little over a year ago. It was beautiful, was promised so many amenities when signing up, once in there one by one things that were promised or not happening, the food is not made by a chef. It is normal every day quick foods some days there isn’t anything and they order pizza so many things promised and not given as far as what is on their main website, not worth the money, but I will say she is comfortable and she does like her apartment. If you read the website, some of their amenities are not offered and have never been so be very careful!!!

My 62 year old brother will be moving into Holiday tomorrow. Joe was so kind and helpful when we were trying to find a good fit for him. We were invited to a free meal which was delicious. Everyone was so friendly that my brother felt right at home. The studio apartment is the perfect size for him and everything in the apartment is beautiful and new. My brother is really looking forward to moving in, which really makes me happy.

I have lived at the Holiday since Oct 1st, 2021. I have a nice one bedroom apartment, with a living room and mini-kitchen with a sink and fridge. All meals are served in the dining room at 8, 12 and 5, unless I am sick. In that case meals will be delivered to my room. This happened during Covid 19 when meals were delivered every day for several weeks. I sit at a dining room table with r others, a woman and 2 men. We all agree that generally the meals are good, some are very good. Occasionally we say the meal is not great but we also agree and give the chef and cook a break. They can make a mistake, we understand. I am on the 3rd floor with a patio that looks out onto beautiful trees, some are large maples or oak trees, others are flowering cherry, I believe. I am only 1/4 mile from a YMCA. I do laps at the pool 3 times each week, and swim 45 min each time. I walk around the Holiday and do 1/4 each time. Overall, the Holiday is good value for the money. I get great support from my 3 boys and many other family members.

The management and staff at Holiday Retirement Bethel Park are very professional and friendly. They take a personal interest in every resident and make them feel safe, secure and special. The meals are excellent and the facility is beautifully maintained. They also keep the families updated on events and resident activities through frequent emails. My mother has lived there for almost 10 years and loves it!

It is a retirement place were everything is included. Apt living. Food is not that good. Do not fix meals for special diets. Not many activities, and residents really do not participate. Staff is usually very friendly. This review was done a year ago. Yes, food may change from day to day but same menu for 3 month at a time. Breakfast was the best meal of day when Mike made it. There has been a larger turnover in residents. CHRIS, MEGAN, AND DONNA do an excellent job.
