Jay at Independence Village in Traverse City was top notch with give my parents a tour, answering questions, very compassionate. She kept in touch with me since my Mom had a stroke & we were going through the process of deciding where she & my Dad should live. She also arranged for Kelsey from Corsocare meet with me prior to bringing my parents for their tour. Kelsey explained the services they offer if needed for care. All around great experience!

I have been going through the lengthy process of finding a place my dad is comfortable with and am so pleased with Independence Village so far. Extremely responsive to my initial inquiry, and quickly got me in for a tour and spent a lot of time with me. I tried to be up front that this is going to take a long time and not be a quick process, and Jay could not be more patient and understanding, sending helpful info and following up, but also never pushing. Just being available and informative. I really hope that this is where my dad chooses because I have had nothing but wonderful, warm, human-focused communication and follow-up. Plus, the place just looks perfect, the amenities and services are incredible...I'll put myself on the waitlist when I'm of age!!

Our company (A Clean Start) expanded up to Traverse City in September 2024. Independent Village TC was one of our first clients that we started to work with. The staff here is second to none. The facility is very clean. The residents all seem to be very happy. We look forward to getting to know more staff members and residents as time goes on. Keep up the great work IV TC.

StoryPoint and Independence Village are cutting edge and above and beyond all other senior living communites as they specifically and successfully address the needs of aging adults such that they 'age in place' and thus maintain their independence well beyond their capabilities on their own. This IS the model for the future. Sadly, not enough organizations are doing this but THANK YOU for offering this level of care and opportunity to our aging parents, families, and eventually ourselves!

Had to leave early because of bugs, but was given no refund for lost furniture, and only a partial refund for time the room couldn't be occupied. Advisacare was good however, and resident did like the meals.

From the moment I spoke with Craig, I knew this was going to be a perfect fit for my dad. He was so accommodating. Not to mention, when he gave us a tour, we couldn't believe all the amenities this place had to offer that were included. It is clean, safe, beautiful, spacious, friendly and felt like a 5 star resort. He said it felt like home and I was happy because it was safe. Everything was perfect about this place.

A very nice place very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The decor is a little bit dated.. the room's while clean the products in them are on the lower end. Plastic walk-in showers versus tiled walk-in showers. Laminate countertops versus marble countertops. Half size frigerator versus full size refrigerator.

My mom had been living in another senior living community for 6 years. She was experiencing "failure to thrive". After a hospital stay with an extended stay in rehab, she had gained back her energy. We knew we had to change things or she would go back to the same reclusive state. We found Glen Eagle and it was love at first site. The entire environment is so welcoming and upbeat. They promote a social and happy lifestyle. Their meals are a social event. My mom feels like she is on vacation every day of her life now. I truely believe Glen Eagle and their wonderful staff has given me my mom back. She looks forward to each day and is living her life rather than just existing. Thank You so much Glen Eagle...
