The on-site facility management team has been great. My mother has been at the facility for almost 5 years and the one site management staff has taken great care of her. She just recently fell twice. Both times "Dennis and Lindsay Dunn" have been on duty and they were remarkably quick, caring, And compassionate in assisting my mother. Dennis would not leave her side until help had arrived. I am extremely thankful for the two of them.

If ever two people were meant to be managers of a retirement-living facility, Linda and Malcolm Gaines are those two. My experience with them while living at Chesterfield Heights was a blessing for myself and my husband. They were loving, caring, even pro-active in meeting our needs and creating a home atmosphere for everyone who lived there. They are nurturing, empathetic problem-solvers; always smiling and ready with hugs. No matter the time of day or night they consistently reassured and comforted us in our need. I am grateful to them and will always feel that they are family to me. I witnessed this loving concern shown to everyone around them on a daily basis.

I love my little apartment. Just the right amount of space. I love walking the halls and stopping to talk to the residents. I wish I had my own washer and dryer, but for the most part it has not been a problem. There has been too much turnover of staff since I have been here. It is like a revolving door. Just when you get to know them, they are gone. I like not having to cook and some of the food is pretty good, but there are times when it is a disaster. There are lots of activities you can pick and choose from. I still drive a little, but it is nice to know when you stop driving there is transportation available. The bus driver is great and goes out of her way to try to please everyone. I made the right decision for me at this time of my life.

My parents stayed at Chesterfield Heights for about 5 years. They enjoyed it very much. The apartment was in very good condition and if a problem arose it was fixed in a timely manner. My parents enjoyed the food which is served three times a day in the dining area. There are always two main choices and several staples. I ate there on more than one occasion and always enjoyed the food. There are activities throughout the day and early evening. Chesterfield Heights has a van which takes people to various stores two days a week and also takes their residents to doctors two days a week. I found the current managers to be caring and genuinely concerned about the residents. I highly recommend Chesterfield Heights.

My parents lived at Chesterfield Heights for about 1-1/2 yrs. The community was a bright and uplifting place for my parents. And through their declining health, the management showed a tremendous amount of care for them. They were consistently kind and helpful to me as well. The residents and ambassadors were wonderful. They were helpful, kind and shared many interesting stories. The place is in a very convenient location with a nice setting. The food is great and coffee is always ready. The Reverend Ken Mills provided a great worship service every Sunday that my dad really enjoyed. I highly recommend Chesterfield Heights for Senior Living.

I live at Chesterfield Heights. I have been here since June this year. I wasn't sure what to expect for our Thanksgiving feast. Well.....wow! It was wonderful! We had tender, moist Turkey with gravy; candied mashed yams, yummy corn pudding, tender delicious green beans, fresh made rolls, green salad, pumpkin pie with coffee or tea. There was plenty for a second trip to the beautifully decorated buffet. The servers, assistant managers and the managers were working to make sure we had everything we needed. Much better than any restaurant could have done. I'm looking forward to next year already. Not to mention, I'm hearing Christmas time here is great also! Thank you to the managers and staff! Well done!

The very first time I stepped into Chesterfield Hgts I knew this was the Place for Mom (Dolores Coller). It was so Beautiful and Elegant! Teresa Sensibaugh was so friendly, accommodating and informative and mom was very excited about having her independence. I especially loved the idea that she could stay there through the end of life instead of having to move to another facility when her condition declined and that Third party caregivers could come to her. The 3 Chef cooked meals are exceptional and she was made to feel like family from the staff and residents right from the beginning. Teresa, Jeff & Patty and Malcom & Linda and Donny have been so attentive and friendly to her. To have her feel Welcomed and Loved is Priceless! Most recently(Sat May 27) we celebrated her 86th Birthday in the Activity Room and we were so Grateful for the use of the space and freedom to decorate. Thanks to Amara for allowing us the time to decorate and reserve the room for the evening! She enjoyed the Surprise of Family and Friends & Residents Celebrating her. We really couldn't ask for more! Much Love & Respect for a Well Run Facility

What a very special place I had the pleasure to visit for retirement living. Everyone was very helpful and friendly making me feel like I was part of the Chesterfield Heights family . The facility was well maintained and beautiful grounds. Many thanks to Dina and Randy for all the time they took to explain everything they offered for the best care my parent would receive during her stay.

The food and the activities are top notch, and what a beautiful building to live in. My six-year old granddaughter and I toured this phenomenal community on April 1, 2022. Dina Baker Berry was our "tour guide" She was so warm, welcoming, and exceptionally knowledgeable, and so kind and attentive to my granddaughter. My granddaughter loved her and wanted me to move in immediately. I was overly impressed with the cleanliness and the number of staff on site to handle any potential issues. The activities available are fabulous. You have a fabulous asset with Dina on your team. I can't say one bad thing about how gracious she is. I have just begun a search to relocate to the Midlothian area, but I will certainly stay in touch. The only negative is that the bathrooms only have showers. I LOVE my relaxing baths. Of course I understand the perils of bath tubs and the problems they can pose for the elderly, so I have to give this considerable thought. Thank you again and make sure you don't lose Dina. I have lived here at Chesterfield Heights for about a year and this is the best thing that has ever happened to me. There are always activities going on and people to be with. The food is good and the desserts are great. CH is pet friendly, my dog J.D. is welcomed by all and has become the official (in his mind) greeter. We can be seen walking in and around the community where he is happy to get a pet from anyone. I highly recommend the CH community to all.

My husband and I moved here in July. We were immediately made welcome by Patty and Jeff. Patty includes newcomers in games and activities so it just feels right! Patty is a burst of sunshine, even on a rainy day! Jeff is very knowledgeable and will help answer any questions you have. Our new assistant mangers have just arrived so we dont know them as well, but they always have a smile and will offer a helping hand! Amara does a great job as our activities directory and is very sweet!

I have been working at Chesterfield Heights for 10 years. I started as a full time housekeeper and server and was promoted as a request from my managers in 2018 to the Activity Director position. I absolutely love working here. I enjoy my job and the joy I get to bring to my residents each and every day. Some of the events and activities that I enjoy planning are our senior proms, having holiday tea at the Jefferson Hotel, outings to museums and horse farms, and playing a game we call horse racing. I wouldnt want to work anywhere else. This is my forever job. I have included several photos with this review so you can see some of the fun activities our residents participate in. I have been coming here since 2017 to provide physical therapy to some of the residents. I have seen many assisted and independent living facilities in this area and Chesterfield Heights is the nicest. The halls and common areas are decorated nicely and brightly lit, the staff is always very friendly and helpful and the activities are kept interesting and are well attended. I have recommended it to several of my patients who are looking to move from their single family homes to independent living.

My father ,Jack, loves Chesterfield Heights. They truly care about their residents. The food is very good and the deserts are great. The management watches over the residents that might be on the edge of independent living and calls me when I should be concerned about something. The housekeeping staff become more like friends and are fantastic with my father. Chesterfield Heights is worth every penny.

My aunt moved in as of January 2019. From the very start, she was welcomed as part of the community and has made several friends that have become an important part of her life. The complex is very cozy and welcoming and her apartment feels like home. The managers and staff are all extremely pleasant, positive, helpful, caring, encouraging, and having them right on-site at all times gives me a sense of ease and security for her safety. The activities are fun, the meals are great, the staff is accommodating, and the amenities, such as transportation, make it a great place to live for any retiree.
