We have lived here for a full year and I highly recommend the Hampton Apartments if you want the best living in Clearwater for 55 and older community. It is especially nice to see the receptionist for the Weekends Doreen. She is so friendly and professional and any needs or questions are a simple conversation away with Doreen. I realize it is the weekend but she is always helping me very question any resident has. So rest assured you will have exceptional receptionists all week long.

Exactly one year later the buildings AC went out...middle of a heat wave for nearly 3 weeks. Very little communication at the start. After so many complaints, they eventually provided table top 'air' units for sleeping right before it was fixed. Overall, very disappointed in their response to this situation. Moved Mom in over the weekend. Right from the start, the move-in process has been a breeze thanks to Eric. Everyone we've been in contact with has been so accommodating and friendly - the ladies at the front desk, the maintenance team as well as the folks in the cafe. The apartment was move in ready. My family and I are so glad she found such a lovely place to call home.

May 2026: The laundry machines and card system continue to be a source of frustration, regularly on the blink, requiring searching multiple floors for a working machine. Management cannot seem to stay on top of their "third party vendor". Nor are you allowed to install a personal stackable machine in your unit. Definitely need to have a laundry back-up plan if you live at the Hampton. Recent attempts to reach manager, Anna, have been ignored. April 2024: The Hampton is the perfect fit for mom, who was resistant to making the move closer to me for a few years. Community Liaison, Eric Pote, guided us through the transition. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and sincere. He really seems to care about residents. Activity Director, Lana, is also extremely friendly and caring. She coordinates her activities/excursions around resident organized activities which both provide lots of options for those who are willing to socialize. However, the apartments are big and well laid out for comfortably spending time at home. Mom loves the community ping pong table, but wishes there were more players. She also loves the dining room which has a creative menu and quality food. This was a very pleasant surprise. I'm giving a 5-star rating, however if I could figure out how to deduct star for tech challenges, I would. There wasn't enough assistance getting setup on the bill payment system. The laundry card system can also cause some frustration. Other than this, it's a lovely retirement community.

From the very beginning, Eric made my mom’s application and move-in process as smooth and stress-free as possible. UPDATE on October 17. Well, let’s fast forward to today, less than 2 months since our initial visit. We’ve since successfully relocated my parent here to live at Hampton Apartments and the process couldn’t have been better. Again, Eric was amazing to make things run smoothly and Alegra has been so patient and full of answers to ALL our questions. These two make it a joy to be a part of this community. Every time we needed them they were cheerful and ready to help. They took the pain out of what could have been a rough transition and made it painless. We have eaten at the restaurant a couple times and the food was really good, not to mention the staff was very pleasant. Hampton should be thankful to have these two on staff. Highly recommend this community for anyone 55+! ORIGINAL POST: We took a tour with tour guide and Community Liaison Eric P. He speaks so passionately about this property, staff, residents and obviously loves his job. The property is gorgeous and exactly what we were looking for. The views are amazing and this is NOT your typical senior living housing. Didn’t see many residents today as many were out, mostly on a beach excursion! Safe during hurricanes, well manicured grounds, modest accommodations, and many amenities you’d want for yourself or someone you are looking for.

My Husband and I became Residents at Hampton 10/1/2025 and couldn’t be more pleased with our new home! Eric, the Manager, gave us a tour, answered all of our questions, put no pressure on us at all to make a decision, and after listening found us our lovely poolside apartment on the first floor as requested!!! The closets are plentiful, the living space is comparable to our previous home and the two bathrooms both have showers, which was a requirement! If you are thinking about the Hampton, don’t hesitate to give Eric a call he’s a great and present Manager take the tour and see for yourself!!!! AND the food, we’ve dined at the restaurant four times so far and found the food to be of finer restaurant quality the great servers very attentive and the luxury of having a meal served whenever you don’t feel like cooking is so appreciated!!! I recently accompanied my grandparents on a tour of the building and later helped them move in. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and the friendliness of everyone we met, whether staff or residents. One man in particular, Eric, who led the tour, stood out for his kindness. He quickly put my grandparents at ease with his humor and by explaining everything in a way they could easily remember. On move-in day, he stopped by their apartment to check on them and give an additional tour. He made all of us laugh and feel welcome. Almost a year ago, I made the tough decision to move to Hampton Apartments after living at another local Independent Living Community, where my husband recently passed away. The costs at my previous community kept rising, and, sadly, the quality of the food and overall experience just wasn't what it used to be. I knew I needed a change; not just financially, but emotionally and socially as well. I toured a couple of other communities, but nothing really clicked until I visited the Hampton Apartments. From the moment I stepped through the doors and was greeted by Eric for my tour, I felt something I hadn’t felt in a while ” a true sense of comfort and belonging. Eric was kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure this felt like the right fit for me. That first impression meant everything. Not only were the costs far more reasonable than what I was paying before, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the apartments were more spacious. It didn’t feel like just another facility, it felt like a home. The food here has been another highlight. There’s a real focus on quality and variety, which I appreciate deeply. Mealtimes feel like something to look forward to again. But beyond the physical space and the meals, what truly makes the Hampton special is the people. The other residents welcomed me with open arms. It didn’t take long before I felt like part of a community ” something I didn’t realize how much I was missing. Looking back, moving to Hampton Apartments was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I feel safe, supported, and genuinely happy here. Thank you, Eric, for helping me find not just a new apartment, but a new sense of home.

I moved in 2.5 months ago. Eric was terrific with everything, gave terrific instructions. He was pleasant and so helpful. Mia met me the day I moved in and was very helpful. In fact the entire staff here have been pleasant, helpful and Professional. My story started over 2 years ago, the first time I visited the Hamptons. I met with Anna. She was so friendly, I had the tour, and asked questions, and so did my daughter. Unfortunately, life got in the way, and I couldn't move at that time. I kept in touch with Anna through that time. She was always up beat and encouraging. Then last June, I called to make another visit. My daughter and I went that afternoon, where we met Eric, who was up to date with my journey. He was so relaxed, I felt immediately relaxed, knowing I was making the correct decision. From the minute I walked in the front door, everyone has been wonderful. I just can not say enough about everyone who I have encountered along the way. Every prayer I say, includes the residents, the entire staff, the building, and especially Anna, Eric, Mia, and the front desk staff. May God continue to bless You!

I toured this property with my mother about a month ago after visiting several other independent living communities in the St. Pete / Clearwater area. Eric gave us a tour, answered all our questions and highlighted the property and its residence. This community hit the mark in every way. The property is clean, modern and very well maintained. The apartments are large and a great value. The restaurant is fantastic. My mom moved in last week and we're all very happy with the decision.

This is a senior living facility. 8 floors tall with 1 and 2 bedroom units. It is on the property of Ruth Eckerd Hall on Mcmullen Booth Rd in Clearwater. The interior of the building is beautiful. Maintenance is super fast and with a smile. The rent includes 15 meals a month in a wonderful restaurant on the bottom floor. The waitstaff are fantastic, and everyone talks about how truly wonderful the food is. You can sit at a table in a room surrounded by glass to enjoy the view. You can also get the food for takeout or have it delivered to your room. Breakfast is weekdays and open to everyone. Every day there are numerous activities to join. Facility buses most days can take you to plazas or different restaurants. You can go to a casino or fairs or on tourist tours. Every day is something new. There is a theater with free popcorn and a big screen. Comfortable recliners welcome you to sit. On Friday afternoons you can attend cocktail hour with live entertainment. You can be as active as you want. The huge lobby has a grand piano and frequently there are concerts to attend. The apartments are very large and have great details. You rarely hear any noises from any other apartment. Small dogs and cats are allowed. If you are looking for a place to live check out the Hampton.

I recently moved into the Hampton and have been very impressed with both the facility and the staff. From the continental breakfast (with fresh fruit daily) to the fantastic food this is a great place to be. It's clean and well maintained, welcoming pets, and ample elevator service. Eric Pote is part of the leasing staff and goes above and beyond to make your move as problem free as possible and is always available to answer questions even after you move in! I have been especially impressed with the proper lighting in the parking lot at night, as I work very odd hours, and always feel safe in the well lighted and maintained landscaping. The activity director, Lana, is very personable and always has fun things planned! It's a wonderful place and I'm so glad I made the move!

The next visit with my mom, we had lunch in the dining room, and the food was terrific! We were sold. We were told about this place , by a friend from where we lived at another place . We were not happy there . But had lots of friends . We are so glad to be part of Hampton Senior Living . We have been treated very well here . The office help and other employees Are very nice . Lana what would we do without you ? Don’t go away . The other tenants are very friendly here . Just like I said we are very comfortable here and feel very safe .
