My husband and I moved here recently and a special shout-out about Micky who went above and beyond to assure that our move in went smoothly. She is very detailed about the little things that make such a big difference. All of the staff are professional. We are very happy here at Bellevue Garden.

IS THIS An ONGOING PROBLEM????? Carol Cohen Im going back to the original 3 starts because of apparent budgetary cutbacks this past year. The food, while good most of the time, has become quite inconsistent and todays dinner was a complete screw up. Id ordered the chicken Caesar salad for dinner, which is usually very good. She brought me a grilled cheese sandwich. I told her it wasnt what Id ordered, and she said there had been a menu change. I told her I dont eat bread, so couldnt eat the grilled cheese sammie. The server really tried, called the kitchen who told her theyd make me a pork chop, but I had to wait. I told her that was okay, only to have her arrive shortly with a ham sandwich. I cant eat ham because of the sodium, so at this point I gave up and looked for something in my fridge that might fill me up. But I was not happy. This is happening way too often lately, running out of food. Its like theyre scrimping like crazy whenever possible, and has me considering once again, rent lock or not, whether I want to really stay here in the future. I do want to emphasize that the staff people here, the housekeepers and servers are wonderful!

I DIDNT ASK ENOUGH QUESTIONS, I SUGGEST YOU ASK MANY QUESTIONS. ALSO RECOMMEND TOURING MORE THAN ONE TIME, TALK TO OTHER RESIDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN HEAR MORE THAN 6 MONTHS. ENSURE ALL COMMON AREAS ARE SEEN AND UNDERSTOOD AS HOW TO USE. UNDERSTAND ENTRANCE DOOR POLICY, BE AWARE OF PARKING POLICY. BE AWARE OF NOISE ON RICHARDS ROAD. BE AWARE OF SLOW ELEVATOR. BE AWARE THAT THE FRONT DOOR IS FIREPROOF. ONLY CONCER YOURSELF WITH EXITING YOUR APARTMENT WHEN THE FIRE IS ACTUALLY IN YOUR APARTMENT.

The facility was great, had a lot to offer, shuttles, books, games, ect. Room was good size and the cost was great! My mother-in-Law had a great lunch with the other residents and really made a difficult decision to move into retirement community easier for her.

This place made my overwhelming decision so easy. Im glad a I found the number for a place for Mom. They connected me to communities that are best for my needs. I went to go see the place on my own. I loved it and they were able to work with my budget. The next day my father and I went there for lunch. We sat at a table with the most wonder sweet group of ladies who were happy to answer all my questions. They told us the tricks and rules of the dining room. I loved the smile my dad had on his face. He agreed on the spot. Kelly the manager and James were so so helpful. I cant say enough good things about this place. Ok happy my parents are moving here soon.

As a manager of the BEAM office at the Garden Club I am able to see first hand how dedicated and friendly the staff are. I have tried lunch on numerous occasions and think it is quite delicious. There is always something fun to do with a plethora of activities available. I would recommend the Garden Club to any Senior looking for a cozy place to call home.

I read the previous review and have to completely disagree. I think the food is consistently good and would encourage people to try it for themselves. My mother lives here and I think it saved her life. She went from being a hermit to involved in social activities. As far as the food goes, I eat here frequently and its pretty good. Not great, but good. The staff is phenomenal, especially Patsy and Jennifer. Jennifer moved my mom in and was completely open and honest about everything, a very unique quality in a sales person. Patsy worked hard to involve my mother and make sure she felt welcomed. This community was by far the best of any we visited and we visited a lot! We are 100% satisfied with the decision we made. The residents are more independent here than any other community we visited which was the biggest thing for my mom. It doesnt feel like an old folks home, but a welcoming and fun community. So, is the food perfect? No, like any restaurant they have their good and as days, but you can order from multiple options and always get something else if you dont like what you ordered. I think for the price, the environment, and the staff its 5 stars.
