I had the opportunity to tour this community recently and came away with a very positive impression. The building was bright, clean, and welcoming, and the residents appeared engaged and comfortable. What stood out most was the genuine kindness shown by the staff and the warm interactions throughout the community. Kim was especially helpful, taking the time to answer questions and making the visit informative and enjoyable. Overall, it felt like a caring place where residents can truly feel at home.

I recently visited this senior living community and was very impressed. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the community was clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The residents seemed genuinely happy, and it was wonderful to see so many positive interactions between staff and residents. It felt like a great place to be, and I would definitely keep it in mind for loved one.

I recently had an opportunity to tour this community. I saw so many staff helping out and participating in activities with the residents. There's always something going on. The food looked and smelled delicious. The number one takeaway here though was the staff. Everybody greeted me with a smile. Everyone was so friendly. I couldn't believe it. Allen, Dawn, and Misty were all amazing.

I love Devonshire I think it’s a great place for people to go for further living in later life. Great staff, accessibility, animals are allowed, vehicles - all around great place. Food is great, and even the residents, the activities and the social scene is also very good. I would hope for my family to go there or when I am the proper age for myself to be able to afford living at Devonshire! Highly recommend

Devonshire is a remarkable place - well run, friendly, open, enthusiastic, and caring. I’ve been living here just 2 months and I am stunned at the rich sense of community. The 3 meals a day are very good and generous. I live in one of the cottages separate from the main building - 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen, light and beautiful. I feel very at home with both privacy and friendship as I need it. The staff is very professional, headed by a dynamic general manager, Dawn. Eric and Misty keep the front office running and Alan handles the maintenance. Anthony runs the van and the kitchen folk - too numerous to mention - know the residents and care about them. I’ve been so impressed with them all.

I love the people who live here. I would say that living here well the management and other staff has been chaotic but is a work in progress. I like all the staff because they are kind and try to meet our needs. As far as the parent company goes they are not sensitive to the fact that seniors are on fixed incomes. Each year there is a raise of rent. I was told It is based on market value per sq feet. My community is in Lenox one of the most expensive places to live in the US. So needless to say after one year my rent went up 9.1%. The government cost of living raise for 2025 was1.8%. I would like to see the same for our rents or at least close to it. When I moved here I was told rent would be raised yearly about 4-5%. Didn’t get it in writing so I feel I am getting screwed. I have decided that I will just take it yearly which is not a good feeling. I am 72 yo and hopefully a lot of years ahead. This is anxiety producing. Thank you

I had the pleasure of visiting my mother this past weekend, and the team was wonderful in accommodating a private dining room for our family. To top off our dinner, we were even treated to a homemade blueberry and peach pie! The front desk and servers went above and beyond to make it feel like a special night out with family. A great place full of activities! Felicia, the Engage Life Director, is terrific at keeping everyone active, and Jen, the Office Manager, goes above and beyond to help residents. Annemarie the saleswoman is very passionate and informative. There’s always something happening”exercise classes, live music, Bridge, Dominoes, and even movie nights.

This place is beyond wonderful- newly renovated, bright, and extremely welcoming. I have a loved one living here and she is having an amazing experience! The staff are kind, attentive, and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this amazing community for your loved ones.

Living at Devonshire Estates the past few months have been wonderful. All the staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help! Housekeeping has been a life saver!! The food is delicious! I could not imagine living any place else.

The staff is very helpful and pleasant. We didn't even have an appointment, but nonetheless they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The grounds are very nicely kept. The units we saw were fine, but a bit on the small side, which is the reason we didn't give Devonshire 5 stars. It is, however, a lovely community, and my husband and I enjoyed the time we spent there this afternoon. Thank you!

Devonshire Was lovely. It did not suit my needs at this time because I Love to cook. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, everything, that I enjoy and love doing, was taken away from me. The apartments didn't provide kitchens! Because I love to cook, I do not want another thing taken away.

I moved my mom here several years ago. All in all, we had such high hopes, but the reality was disappointing. Very very high staff turnover. My feeling was that the parent company squeezes every penny out of the residents and every hour of work out of the workers. My mom was so hopeful when she arrived, but she complained bitterly about the food. She felt the quality was often disgusting and that quanities and choices were stingy.. One night the main choice was a single hot dog. The activities were barebones... tv aerobics, bingo. Too often, they couldn’t offer promised activities because the vans were broken or the drivers unavailable. On the positive side, many of the staff were very kind and helpful. The place was reasonably clean. The facility itself seemed cheaply constructed ... for instance, only one elevator (can that possibly be up to code?) Also, the annual price increases are frankly predatory. Midway through my mom’s several year residence, they stopped having staff in residence, and switched to emergency call devices. I do not think thus is acceptable with a vulnerable population. I would not recommend, although it meets the barebones requirement of reasonably safe and ckean. And there are so few choices around here. All in all, they could do much much better.
