After my mom passed away 9 months ago, we moved my dad into Windlands after checking out several places. We were impressed by the facilities, the staff, and the food. The move went smoothly and my dad is quite happy there. They have many activities to keep him busy, and the staff is amazing. I visit several times a week and just love their friendly attitude. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place for their parent(s)

We moved my dad here and have been very pleased! His views from the top floor are beautiful and the people are so kind. They have made a management change for the better! I believe the chef has been there for over 14 years and the food is his favorite part.

Mom has been at this community for several months and loves all her friends and the activities. She used to be so lonely by herself and now she has a purpose. We toured a few other properties but found this one to have the best apartments with full kitchens and the people are the nicest.

This past weekend my company Charkutie had the pleasure of teaching some of the residents how to build their very own charcuterie board and I must say the ladies did an amazing job. We got make a salami rose which is always my favorite and display different variation of cheeses in our own unique way. A special thank you to the activity director Ophelia, she was beyond amazing!! Not only was she super patient with me but with the residents as well. She followed up with me constantly making sure I knew where I would set up prior to arriving and answered any all questions I had. If the other staff is anything like Ophelia filled with smiles, laughter and a breath of fresh air I would definitely recommend this place for my family and friends. Thank you for the opportunity and I hope to service you guys again!!

This is a great place. Chad, the manager, does an exceptional job of managing a large and wonderful, caring staff. You cannot pay people enough to care the way these people do. The Indvidual attention that the residents receive is amazing. The views and the food are excellent, too.

I was previously here for 2 years then moved back to my house. Stayed there for 2 years before I realized I couldn't keep up with the cleaning and yard work. I decided to sell my house and move back to Windlands since I had been here and knew staff and had friends. Was that a big mistake! I have wanted to move out after 2 months. Staff was unhappy and 4 good people left. We lost rides to doctor visits, and for groceries. Housekeeping went to 1 time a month. Meals consisted of lunch meat, dry bread, and stale chips. All these service's in our contract not being held to yet our rent went UP! I hope things will continue to improve with Chad and Amy in charge.

A very stressful crossroad in life ended up being the biggest blessing! Shara was a great communicator and kept us in the loop of apartments opening up. Chad seems to be doing an amazing job managing this place, and he really won our mom over by adding garden boxes this week. 🙂 Everyone has been so welcoming and accommodating...both staff and other residents. We love that she truly has her independence, but is in a safe environment without utilities to worry about and all she has to do is ride the elevator downstairs to eat. We had dinner with her the first night and after all the stress and work of moving we were able to relax and know this was the right call. I'm so glad we landed here. Take the tour. Make the move.

I have received the most congenial and fast help on any problem I have encountered. As a woman, the things I can no longer do are quickly done in g a helpful manner from something as simple as changing a lightbulb to fixing the burners on my stove.

My mom moved in a month ago and we have nothing but GREAT things to say. The staff is so KIND. The food is YUMMY. The activites are so FUN for the residents. A friend & her husband live here. Nice size apartments, the food is great, & the staff appear to be friendly. Many of the apartments have balconies, but they also have seating at the front where residents can spend time outside. One problem: responsible for cleaning carpet but this has not been done in friends apt., although assisted living facility. My friend has Alzheimers & spouse in a wheelchair. They do offer van services to take residents shopping.
