Terra Bella Myrtle Beach is a great place for a parent who is aging and needs socialization and a safe and healthy environment. Some rooms have been updated. They offer many things for residents to participate in during the month. Front office staff ( Ashley and Penny) were very helpful in the process of finding a place for my mom.

Such amazing and caring staff. The director Penny is exceptional and one of a kind. She really went above and beyond for my father, even though he could be rather difficult to deal with. He was only there about 4 months before passing, but he was always well taken care of. I also really appreciate the services provided by home instead. I cannot thank you all enough.

Penny, the Executive Director for Terra Bella, goes over and above her responsibilities in making sure each tenant is happy and taken care of. During a very stressful time with my father with rapidly progressing dementia, she made it her mission to assist me in his transition to a memory care facility making it as seamless as possible given the challenges this event presented. I would always recommend Terra Bella Myrtle Beach as your first and only place to go for independent living! Phenomenal person!

Penny and her team have created a wonderful welcoming atmosphere at the Terra Bella. The main floor remodel is beautiful and the colors are well done. I can't wait to see what they do with the rest of the building. The on site home health company works well to give residents who need extra care the option of getting on a pay as you go basis.

I came for a 2nd tour and had lunch with some very nice ladies. I did not choose the main choice and there was only one choice! I had a sandwich. I was good. I took notice of the spinach my lunch mates had and it looked very much like canned! I really expected there to be fresh vegetables. I have to say I was disappointed.

Several of my clients have moved into this senior living community over the past several years and I have come to know some of the staff very well. The team here is committed to provide a great place for our seniors to enjoy their retirement years and works hard to do just that. If you are looking for options in the Myrtle Beach area as you consider downsizing after retirement, I highly suggest that you give them a call and stop by Terra Bella to experience the lifestyle they provide.

I am a Service Coordinator with Home Instead and have an office on the 3rd floor at Terra Bella, so I get to see firsthand day to day activity. Terra Bella is a beautiful facility for seniors who are independent or may be in need of a little assistance. The staff is great and interacts well with the residents. The residents seem to really enjoy living at Terra Bella. The residents all seem to love the new menu options and quality of the food. Lots of activities for the residents choose from. Very spacious rooms. The grounds are well kept, with beautiful landscaping.

I feel at home. The friends I have made, the excellent staff, good food, activities I enjoy and beautiful grounds outside. I highly recommend Terra Bella as a great place when you no longer want to live alone. It has everything you need to enjoy your senior years.

Apartment sizes & kitchens underwhelming. Meal menus, hours of service, lack of credit for meals missed, disap-pointing. No pool., No enjoyable open green ground.

We thought this would be a nice place, considering the price tag. Food is usually to salty and processed to eat. The windows won't open, roaches and the air conditioner full of black mold and filth! Would not recommend.

I am an RN who has had clients at Eagle Crest, so I got to know it pretty well. It is a great fit for people who are independent enough to not need assisted living, and who look for a warm and friendly atmosphere. With three daily meals and weekly cleaning & linens provided, it makes good sense. There are porches to sit on and nice grounds for walking on. There are plenty of activities, so between these and dining with others at meal time, you can make friends easily. I suggest you visit if you feel this plan could work for you.

Very nice place for seniors that are able to live independently. Basic housekeeping and 3 meal times with 3 different options at each meal. Staff is great.

My father was a resident for 4 yrs. Since dining becomes a major activity everyday....upwards of 3-4 hrs spent eating, quality of food is important. During his first 2 years I heard no complaints from my father. Once the ownership changed the food took a nose dive as apparently corporate management wanted to trim costs. Eagle Crest is just one of a few hundred retirement facilities owned by a large corporation that has many diverse businesses in its portfolio. Driven by the Wall Street management to make all of their portfolio businesses profitable for the shareholders, the retirement side of the business seems to be taking a hit. No longer do the location managers live on site....thus no 24 hr emergency help just a few doors away. They now provide an Emergency Alert lanyard the residents are supposed to wear in case they need help. I guess this is the Wall Street approach to provinding service......farm it out to a third party person on the other end of a phone somewhere. Thank goodness a fire station with EMTs is directly across the street. The local management makes a good effort but I get the feeling their performance is judged on how much money they can save given a budget and targets set by upper, corporate management. Would I choose Eagle Crest today? Probably not as other, better options are now available in the area.

Very nice facility, friendly staff, but dining rm food is lacking. Young Corporate executives must have cut back the budget on serving quality healthy food. They also took away the management that stayed on premises so elderly people are left there alone at night. Not smart!
