Lydia moved my grandma in in May. She made the entire transition so smooth and enjoyable. My grandma has made so many friends and is finally being social. So thankful for Lydia and the whole team in this community!

The Rittenhouse is a Wonderful Place for your aging parents! My Dad moved into his apartment in April 2024 and was there until he passed in Sept 2024. When he first moved in, I couldn't believe how kind, caring & helpful the female staff were to my Dad and me, and everyone that lives there. I knew he was in good hands staying there, as I felt very comfortable with the Staff, knowing they would help him with anything. The staff are very empathetic to residents needs. They made sure his Hamsters were fed, when he was in the hospital for a week at a time. They even allowed us to have a Celebration of Life for my Dad, after his death at Rittenhouse. Plus they provided warm meatballs and cookies too. My Aunt & Uncle also love the place too, they stay in one of the Guest Rooms while they are in town, instead of a hotel. I know the Staff loves my Aunt & Uncle, and vice versa, in fact they are there right now.

The Rittenhouse has been a Godsend for my 93 y/o mother. The staff has been like an extended family for her. Everyone there goes beyond the call of duty making sure all the residents have a clean, well maintained and beautiful place to live. Shannon the manager works 24/7 making sure every department is functioning at its highest capacity. Shannon has always made herself available whenever there is a need. I've even been able to contact her on her off days. She even responded to my calls when she was off sick. I've never seen someone so dedicated to making sure the Rittenhouse is well managed! Shannon knows all the residents by name and even does things out of her job description to make sure everyone is safe and well taken care of. The Rittenhouse is lucky to have such a dedicated manager. You can tell she truly loves her job. I would highly recommend the Rittenhouse to anyone who is looking for an independent living facility that is well managed, clean, beautiful and feels like home!

We recently experienced a traumatic event with my best friends grandma she been staying here for a few months and thought it was a nice place because of the awesome reviews WELL she got injured on a Friday and NO ONE checked on her ALLLL weekend and we found her Monday laid out on the floor that is not a way someone wants to find their family member they DEFINITELY need better staff and to do more check in hadn’t they gotten there any later whose knows would could of happen!!

My mother has lived here about a year. She enjoys the atmosphere and I am glad the staff is always willing to listen and help where they can..Nice quiet neighborhood. Nice walking path for tenants and their pet.

My Dad lives there. The marketers will brag about the food, but it's nothing special. I've eaten there with my Dad. The portions are stingy, and the food is no better than "edible." The fixtures inside the apartments are as cheap as possible. In the first two weeks he was there, the flimsy closet doors came off-track and had to be fixed twice. The a/c is inadequate to cool his small one-bedroom apartment. It's in the living room, and the bedroom is uncomfortably hot. The only advantages of living there are that everything is close by, and the rent is not outrageous. They don't require an unrealistic upfront "buy-in" like many other places. They have activities, and are allowed to have pets. They don't seem to care if a pet is vicious or not, though. Also, there NO EXCUSE for having only one elevator. Moving in was ridiculous. I'd give it fewer stars if it cost one penny more than the 2400/month my Dad is paying. In our possible price range, sadly, it was the best we could afford. Other places in the area have MUCH higher fees & rent, though, so we knew it wasn't going to be deluxe. And it certainly is not.

This is a beautiful independent living community for seniors. They have different events and activities offered all throughout the day every day. I have even been told the food is not too bad, which for for any type of senior living a ringing endorsement like that is hard to find. From what I have seen I would recommend this place for anyone looking.

We stopped by this location to deliver a piece of furniture to a resident. It is by far one of the nicest retirement centers I have ever seen. The residents were very happy, the staff was friendly, and it seemed warm and inviting!

I was very impressed during my visit. All of the staff were warm and helpful. Everyone is very accommodating and eager to help. The rooms are lovely. I would have liked to see more vegetarian options for dining, instead of having to make do with a salad and side dish of vegetables. But overall the Worthington seemed exceptional to me. Sunny and bright, well maintained.

One resident stalked me for 6 weeks. Another is from the state hospital. Many have left for another facility nearby. One veteran , a colonel, was told the place wasn't renting to him any longer. The general manager, Renee, sweeps problems under the rug. The district manager wanted to earn my business he didn't do too well at it.
