From the moment you walk in, you’ll notice how clean, bright, and modern the community feels. The design is fresh and inviting, making it a place that truly feels comfortable and uplifting. What really stands out, though, is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about the residents. They go out of their way to make people feel welcomed and supported, which creates a warm, home-like environment. Residents here truly feel at home. There’s a strong sense of community, and there are fun activities happening every day, giving residents plenty of opportunities to stay social, active, and engaged. Another wonderful feature is the shuttle lift service, which makes transportation easy and accessible for residents who need it. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making life convenient and enjoyable for everyone who lives there. Overall, Provincial Chico is a beautiful community with caring people, great amenities, and a lively atmosphere. It’s definitely a place where residents can feel comfortable, supported, and happy. I've been a frequent guest to Provincial over the years and have been impressed with their recent interior updates as well as the consistent Lifestyle programming and activities for their residents! The staff at Provincial is always welcoming and the food always smells great!

Provincial Chico is a lovely place. I toured the facility with my uncle recently as he is looking to move on to the next chapter in his life after my aunt's passing. The staff, especially Kristine who gave us the tour, are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. The director Kaitlyn answered all of my questions completely, even providing information I had not considered. The staged unit we saw was perfectly set up to demonstrate how to maximize every square inch. The dining room and other common areas were easily accessible for residents of all capabilities. There is quite a variety of activities available for residents to participate in at their own comfort level. I told my uncle that if I was on my own, I would move into that community myself! Great place.

Provincial Chico has exceeded my expectations in every way! The employees truly care about the residents and do all they can to make their brighten their days. The building itself has undergone incredible renovations and feels very welcoming. They offer live music each week and host large events for the residents/community each quarter. I would be proud to have my grandparents live at Provincial Chico!

Beware if you are a musician. I have had great interactions with the Provincial(Oakmont previously) in the past but after they had me wait over a month and a half for a payment over an issue that could've easily been avoided I decided to stop performing there. None of the other retirement homes I play for had this issue. Be wary of performing here if you want to get paid on time.

Nice staff, clean, hard working staff, Warm safe environment. Affordable compared to others. Nice outside patio. This is definitely independent living. If you need assistance you will have to hire an outside agency. The food is just ok. The snacks are leftovers and undesireable. I think more budget needs to go to the chef. ( I will admit my brother is picky)

my grandmother had the luxury of staying here. she absolutely loved her time here & the ambience was very welcoming. the classical music is a nice touch. the residents/ staff are all very sweet & welcomed her with open arms. thank you for being so kind. i wish her stay could have been longer!

I don’t often write reviews, but I’m going to now. I have visited the Oakmont a few times and I’m impressed. I can’t believe how much the Chico community is so involved with this place. The Girl Scouts come visit the Oakmont and what a great opportunity for the girls and the residents to have quality time together. Love seeing the young girls and the residents sharing time together. This place is so inviting and cooperative. Thank you Oakmont and Chico.

I think it's a wonderful place. Senior care is excellent. They are treated with respect and dignity. I think having senior assistance in the rooms who want it is excellent idea. They need help and companionship. The Staff is great.

Oakmont was a wonderful choice for our family. My husband’s aunt was placed there when we could no longer have her living at home. We hired senior assistance living to come in and help. Pam and her crew were so great about checking in on her and giving us the rest assurance that she was safe and living a happy life at Oakmont. The property of Oakmont was always accommodating to our visits. Great shady places to sit.

I loved having my mom at the Oakmont, not only because of the Oakmont staff and all of the activities and entertainment they provided but mainly because of the services we received from Senior Assistants. Obviously, this previous review is coming from a disgruntled employee. My mom couldn’t have lived Independently as long as she did without Pam’s crew and their loving and conscientious care.

The Oakmont is a lovely place to be. It is homey, quiet, not too big where you don't get to know everybody, and is, like most things, what you make of it. You can choose to be quiet and reclusive, or attend all the events and programs - there is no pressure. The staff is there to assist and they get to know everyone and care about each resident. The grounds are beautiful so there is a pleasant walk right there! Public planter boxes are available for sowing seeds and there are activities to keep your day busy and full.
