Alan did a fantastic job. Not only same day service that fully addressed the stated issues but discovered a new problem not visible to me resulting in him proactively replacing the garbage disposal. Outstanding!

Al came and fixed my loose toilet seat which didn't have a washer with the screw that I could have tightened it and he fixed the hole in my patio screen. He always does a fantastic job on whatever needs to be fixed. We are lucky to have such great help.

I needed my locks changed on the door into the apartment for safety reasons and they changed them immediately for me. This is normally how a maintenance request is handled. Which is always appreciated by me.

It is a nice place to live. Convenient to be able to walk right in from our garage to our townhouse apartment with our walkers or canes, no steps. But going up in price this year, $147.00 is ridiculous. No upgrades or anything to improve the apartment. Next year we'll be looking maybe for something else. Raises in the last year of $84 to $147 is nuts when you're on social security. I hope next year goes back to normal. I hate to move from a place we enjoy.

I live in one of the townhouse units, and appreciate the two car attached garage arrangement. It is comforting to know that the snow will be plowed and walkways salted. Another plus is that there is usually a prompt response when any inside maintenance is needed. I feel the landscaping needs upgrading. The privacy fence between the Parkwood property and the VASA property should be extended to block the view of the VASA parking lot. Or some tall evergreens planted to block that undesirable view. Evergreen shrubs next to our building need attention and/or replacement. The salt used is detrimental to the plantings so more study is needed to choose plants that can withstand the salt abuse, or better salt alternatives?

I moved into Parkwood Highlands on March 1, 2023. This is a very clean, quiet and well maintained facility. They have a terrific group of people in the Office and in the Housekeeping/Maintenance Departments. Inquiries are answered promptly, while maintenance tasks are properly completed in a timely fashion. The other residents in my building are very friendly. I truly enjoy living in this pleasant community!

Just completing our second year here and submitted our lease renewal for another year today, Great management team, the facility is clean and well maintained, and is in a very nice area of New Berlin. My wife and I really enjoy living here. Lots of activities and great neighbors.

On August 15; my husband, Stan, collapsed in the garage as we were returning from grocery shopping. I panicked and ran to the office for help. Our director, Melissa, contacted the paramedics, calmed me down, stood at Stan’s side and comforted him while we waited for the ambulance. She turned off the car and parked it properly in its slot. While we rode to the hospital, Melissa saw to it that our groceries were taken to our apartment and put away. Stan spent three days in the hospital, and was warmly welcomed home by Melissa and Carol and the staff. Thank you, our friends!

Parkwood Highlands is a wonderful, friendly and meticulously maintained place that I'm so glad I found. My one bedroom unit has large rooms with reasonable rent and very little sound coming from the other units. I had the option of installing a washer/dryer but the laundry room is so convenient, right on my floor and with good machines, that I don't even want to do that. I appreciated the fact, when I was looking at apartments here, that I had several different choices in terms of patios, windows, etc., and that there are buildings that are pet friendly. Every maintenance request or question - and I haven't had many - has been handled very promptly and accurately. I highly recommend looking here for an apartment. Update May 2022 - my furnace was on the older side and had been giving me a few problems here and there, always addressed instantly. This time, within two days, I had a brand new one. I am thrilled and almost feel spoiled living here - wonderful, prompt and very courteous service every time.
