It can be overwhelming to decide on suitable retirement living for a parent. We were fortunate to find Carolina Estates! The first time I visited CE was to just ask questions. I was promptly greeted with Millie's smile and enthusiasm! Returned for a second visit to explore apartments. We were then helped by Cassie with a smile and her patience! Cassie took my parent& myself to see several apartments until we found what suited us.(My parent,now a resident for 3 months.) Millie and Tommy (managers at Carolina Estates)as well as Cassie(Community Sales)have taken the extra effort to ensure we received everything needed to get acclimated to the new residence. Millie, Tommy& Cassie have been available countless times to help with whatever was needed after moving in. Melissa, a newer member to the mgmt team,as well as the cafeteria staff at CE, have all been very welcoming. The residents have been welcoming and supportive. Carolina Estates Independent Living also has Legacy Therapy on the premises. Legacy has provided my parent with an outstanding therapy team. Nursing help can also be provided through outside companies already established with this CE location. Carolina Estates provides an inviting and caring environment.

Carolina Estates is a wonderful, warm and welcoming place. Both the staff and the residents greeted us with open arms. Bringing my mom to this new place, she was nervous to be where she does not know anyone. Within 2 hours, she had people saying hello and welcoming her to eat or play cards! The facilities are beautiful and clean, and the rooms are as well. The meals are Very Good, with choices for all meals,and delicious! I was most impressed by the community. I listened as residents at breakfast wondered where their neighbor was that morning, and went to check on them. This is the place my family had hoped to find for my mom, and she is settling in with a smile.

My mom has been at Carolina for 6 months. We are so grateful and happy for her to be at this wonderful, magical, cheerful place for elders. It is a joy to walk in the door and see happiness, fun and friends for residents. Chris and Sally are amazing, welcoming and involved managers. Shaylin is a true delight to work with and the staff is exactly what you would expect for your family. I am really so happily surprised that every one of the young people that work in the dining room and cleaning staff are so friendly, kind and sweet with the residents. They know their names and treat them kindly with respect. I cannot say enough nice things about Carolina Estates.

I toured Carolina Estates with a friend and her mother. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the community was very clean and well maintained. I learned that most of the staff has a long tenure which is great to know. We had toured 4 different places and this one was "Mom's" favorite. She would have moved here except she decided she wanted to stay closer to her home town of Rhode Island so she ended up choosing a sister community of Carolina Estates that is closer to where she lives. My friend and her mom liked the travel perks that are offered with this community as well.

My mother has been at Carolina Estates since December. Her progress and transition has been slow but steady. The managers Chris and Sallie are hands on with the residents. They provide a caring and supportive community and are kind and patient. My mother really likes them both and that has been the difference in her transition from living in her own home to living in this beautifully kept community. Carolina Estates is clean and the rooms are spacious. There are several community areas where resident and their guests can gather. The entertainment and activities are awesome. I’m so glad we found this place for my mother!

I have a family member at this place now after some declining health issues. This place is one of the best retirement living facilities that I've ever had the opportunity to visit. The place is super clean and the staff is super friendly! There are many pros to this facility from speech therapy, entertainment, library area, pool table, movie theater room, exercise area and amongst alot more. The dining area looks like an upscale restaurant. If you have a loved one in need of care, I promise you that this is the place for your loved one! I love visiting Carolina Estates Gracious Retirement Living. And to them, I say " THANK YOU for your dedication and hard work in making their last days their best days!"

A very warm and friendly place to live. The administration and staff are welcoming and always ready to lend a helping hand. I have toured many retirement facilities in Greensboro and without a doubt, I am extremely happy to have chosen Carolina Estates.

My wife and I have been living here for just over 3 years and we love it. It is like living in a nice hotel. Excellent food, 3 meals a day. Helpful staff. Friendly people and lots of planned activities. My wife is suffering from a neurological disorder and I am her caregiver. It is so much easier here because I do not have to cook, wash dishes, shop for groceries or take care of any household maintenance. We left a 3 bedroom house that we loved and moved into a 1 bedroom apartment, and we still have too much stuff. Glad we moved here..

This is a beautiful place inside since they did a renovation.The staff and residents are so friendly.There is a meal board as soon as you walk through the entrance and it tells you what the meals are for the day. Manager Dennis was nice as well as Marketing manager Dominque.I met a young lady name Shantel (Activity Director) on the first floor in the Activity room and what an amazing person that she is.The Activities are awesome there.We talked for at least 20 minutes and the heart that she has for these seniors.I asked her how long have she being working for the company and she stated 7 years.After I finish speaking with her I had tears in my eyes.I went home and talked it over with my mother and she moved in.Great job Carolina Estates Staff.
