I moved my dad into Sunrise in Summit after he got very sick overseas and could no longer live on his own. He received amazing care at Sunrise. From the excellent PT staff, to the wonderful nurses, the whole staff is amazing and caring. They even had my dad sit with other residences during meals that they thought he would have things in common with, and they were spot on. They also have so many activities for residences everyday so there really is never a chance to be bored or alone. Highly, highly recommend Sunrise.

I came across Sunrise of Summit after the sudden death of my father, when I found myself searching for the very best senior living community for my mother”without cutting corners. Over two months, I conducted countless hours of research daily, visiting 11 communities in person and nearly a dozen more online. Like most people, I care deeply for my mother and wanted to find a place where she could truly thrive again and her specific needs are best met. From the moment I sat down with the terrific Marla at our first meeting, I felt I had found an exceptional community where my mother could feel at home. Over time, I met other wonderful staff as well ”Kathy, DeeDee, Nana, Fernando, Jill and countless others who care so much for the residents. The staff is amazing. The food, which I've enjoyed myself multiple times, is delicious (my mother reminds me of this regularly). The building is stunning, and the outdoor patio is a particular highlight. The other residents are active and vibrant. But what matters most is that every single staff member I've met is genuinely engaged in caring for my mother and her needs. You feel it at every turn. It's a place that feels like both home and family, combined with the medical care and living arrangements my mother requires. I can't say enough good things about Sunrise of Summit. A Place That Feels Like Family My 94-year-old mother is the best mom in the world. She’s been my best friend for a lifetime, and watching her begin to struggle mentally the last few years was heartbreaking. After a difficult transition from assisted living in Massachusetts, I moved her to Sunrise of Summit Memory Care, and it was the best decision I could have made. This is the place to be if you need this level of care ! This place is bright , cheery, and super clean , with residents who are active and vibrant . My sister in law who is 77, who came here 2 months ago is totally happy to be here ! My Father started in Assisted Living and transitioned into Memory Care. I saw both management, dining staff, activity planners, nurses, health aids, and care managers going above and beyond for all residents. There’s a real feeling of family amongst the group. It is hard because some situations are challenging. But they always handle it professionally and with compassion. It was a great move to bring Dad to the level of care he needs.

My mom, who has very limited abilities, is incredibly well cared for at Sunrise of Summit. The staff is very caring, especially DeeDee, the nurses and aides. I am grateful for all they do which allows me to be at ease when I’m not there.

Too often amazing people help others and get little recognition. My father just turned 101 on 12/12 and I needed to move fast and get him help. Allison Riccardelli is the BEST!!! She made everything happen with a super quick evaluation and made all the arrangements for us that we needed. She's always available when we call and has made our challenging experience so much better. If you have a parent or loved one that needs care that you cannot provide at home, you do not have to waste your time and energy doing research. Call Allison and she will put everything together for you! 100%

The Sunrise of Summit is truly a 5star community! The facility is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is absolutely terrific! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I have had the opportunity to hear so much positive feedback from the residents on site as well. I've even attended one of the many events hosted by Sunrise of Summit, and the food prepared by the chef was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this facility for your loved one. I know they also provide amazing tours if you wanted to check out the facility.

Sunrise is family to us. They have taken such good care of us, during good times and bad. My mother recently passed away. The staff and administrators went out of their way to comfort us and make sure we had what we needed to care for my dad who had to be moved to reminiscence. All the aids have been so sweet. They loved my mom, and they are all in mourning with us. The administrators are so protective of my dad. I consider them all family. They love us so much. I couldn't do what I need to do without Sunrise being so amazing in taking care of Dad now that Mommy's gone. Thank you, Sunrise. Thank you so much.
