Moved my brother in early November. Sadly he had to go to hospital within week 10 days and cannot return. Despite the hard transition out Lisa Canady the DON amd Devin our administrative staff along with Terrell in Marketing worked very hard to accommodate our siblings needs as they continually changed. It breaks our heart he didn’t get to stay longer but his health deteriorated. Thankyou Cedarhurst for going above and beyond to help our family during such difficult times. Been here since the 7th, if there is a crack you can fall through then I've done so. Apparently the left hand doesn't communicate with the right hand here at all. They excel at taking money out of your bank account and they're certainly amenable to charging extra for any of the care you would expect to be included in the "assisted" part of Assisted Living - including charges for services they're failing to provide. Thought my family got things straightened out yesterday but today was no different than Tuesday - SOSDD!

I love the fresh baked cookies they prepare twice a day. The smell is so welcoming when you walk in from outside in the foyer area. The staff is friendly and kind. There are different activities to attend if you are interested. Outings at least once a week sometimes twice. Other residents, now your neighbors if you live here that are nice to visit with and get to know

My family member loves living here. The facility is beautiful and clean. Alicia, Alexis, and the rest of the staff are always there to assist and answer any questions we might have. Their dedication and warmth makes Cedarhurst a true home for residents. Highly recommended checking them out!

My sister & brother-in-law live at Cedarhurst in Columbia. My husband and I visit frequently. We have always felt welcome at Cedarhurst in Columbia. Our family has had many family celebrations. It was easy to reserve an open (private) space there. I am happy my sister & b-n-l are happy, well cared for, and safe in Cedarhurst.

My mother in law lives at Cedarhurst and our experience has been wonderful. She loves the daily activities that they provide, which keeps her busy. Alexis has also been very helpful and friendly! She assisted us in getting her long-term care going and handled the necessary paperwork. That alleviated a lot of stress for us. Highly recommend checking them out.

As a potential home for a loved one, we met with Meghan to be introduced to Cedarhurst, services offered, options, costs etc. From an introductory standpoint Meghan could not have possible been more helpful. As we toured the premises she greeted each person she passed enthusiastically and by name. Amenities appear to be excellent but since we only visited or passed through I don't have more to base review on. Therefore a four is fair. Thank you, Meghan.

We are just beginning the process of looking for assisted living for our parents. Cedarhurst has been so wonderful from the start. Director of Sales, Megan Mathis, is exceptional. Very kind, knowledgeable, empathetic and took time to answer all my questions. The facilities are warm and welcoming and I think my loved ones would be very happy, comfortable, and well cared for here! Cedarhurst is at the top of our list at this time!

Megan Mathis was very helpful in finding a place for our mother to live since she could no longer live alone in her home. My internet search earlier this year located Cedarhurst. I contacted them by phone and was directed to Megan for more information. She answered my questions so I visited Cedarhurst for a tour when I came to Columbia to check on our mother.

Staff are unsupported by corporate, inadequate training in place so (new) staff are making mistakes, individual service plans not being followed, medication gone missing and not being administered on time, billing issues (charged over 19k instead of 12k), lack of communication… don't put your loved ones here until they get it figured out better. The staff are trying but it's not enough. Edit: After months of several sales and resident care staff members telling me my loved one would be reminded to take their medication, specifically called "medication queuing," I've now been informed that's illegal in the state of Missouri and no one at Cedarhurst would have told me that. Apparently it's legal in Illinois and one of the temporary corporate people brought in didn't know that, but I was told repeatedly over many months by many Missouri staffers that medication queuing would be done. I feel lied to. This was not a term I suggested or knew about prior to looking at assisted living facilities. What else did they tell me that was not true? The facility is beautiful and many of the residents are great. But the staff never stays for long and will apparently tell you anything to get your money.

Prices are going up; services are going down. There are some VERY dedicated staff members, and then there are some that use on-duty time to smoke in their cars out back.(I've seen it and I knew they were on-duty!)

Do not place your loved ones at this facility. It is "very fancy" on first appearances. I was told that there was a nurse available 24/7.. Not true. While my mom was there they went thru 6 admimistrators and at least 4 directors of nursing. .3 out of 6 residents on MC 2 died of covid right after I moved my mom out!! They charged $5.00 per day for PPE's. This place is a scam.my mom got 3 paper masks for that charge in 3 months. NO EXTRA SANITIZATION EFFORTS!! THEY CAN'T KEEP STAFF, they hired an outside service, PULSE and one of their workers stole money out of my moms purse. Cameras saw it. Food service was horrific. They couldn't even get ice for the 2nd floor residents. I knew some of the staff and heard HORROR stories. Keep in mind, "Looks and the "sales pitch" are deceving." Take your loved ones elsewhere!!

Cedarhurst has provided my grandfather with a wonderful living experience for more than three years. The living quarters are clean, spacious and luxurious. The staff is extremely friendly, caring and personable. I appreciate how they host events and make it easy for family members to visit and be a part of the Cedarhurst community. I couldnt imagine my grandfather being taken such good care elsewhere.
