The website virtual tour is well done, as is the website, but it does not portray the warmth and caring attitude of the staff and atmosphere of the facility. Make sure you take a tour, in person, of the Legacy House Park Lane assisted living center. You will be glad you did!! The inner courtyards are a great feature for us because our family member loves gardens and being outdoors.

I made the most important move of my life… actually it was my father's life. I looked all over the state for a facility that I could move him into that actually looked at the person, not the room number. My Dad had already lost everything when his wife passed away. He had some unfortunate events he participated in and it left him with a permanent disability. I had almost given up hope and was about to start looking at other facilities when I walked into Legacy House of Park Lane. I was met by D'Lynn and she completely put me at ease. She had a no pressure attitude and listened to everything I had to say. She showed genuine sympathy and compassion. The facility was incredibly clean, well thought out and felt comfortable. It wasn't the cheapest place, but it wasn't the most expensive either. And I felt that this facility was different. D'Lynn made everything better and made sure that I did my research and ensured that it was the right fit for my Dad before I moved him across the country. She helped me handle logistics and made the process seamless. I still can't believe how hard she and the staff worked to make this move so easy. The nurses and the CNA's all moved with a purpose, the maintenance staff arrived rapidly. It was incredible. When my Dad arrived, he was put at ease and shown that the world still needed him in it. He actually had tears in his eyes knowing that he had found a home. I wish there was a way to express my gratitude for Legacy House in a better way. But words would simply cheapen it. D'Lynn was and is the foundation of that place and I owe her and her brilliant staff so much… I don't think you can do much better than Legacy House of Park Lane for your loved ones. It's Amazing!

Three years at Legacy I moved into Legacy House three years ago today. It was time for me to stop driving, and I was having difficulty cooking and caring for my own place. I was expecting it to be an OK kind of thing, but it has turned out to be an absolute joy. The residents and staff are so kind and fun to work with. I feel safe, I feel cared about as well as cared for. In fact, I feel pampered. I am mostly independent and do not need a lot of help, but when I do need something, they're always willing to help me with the little details of life that have become challenging for me. No one looks forward to the time when they need this kind of support. I see people move in, feeling it's going to be hard. Then in two or three weeks, they are so pleased with everything. The atmosphere is so welcoming. My favorite element my fellow residents. Good folk who have become good friends. I love it here. Specifics: Cleanliness. Shared spaces are always spic'n'span. Appearance. Wide hallways, lots of light, inviting courtyard, a variety of gathering spaces. It feels more like a top-notch hotel than a clinical environment. Very homey. Maintenance. If something in your room needs attention, it's taken care of within a day or two. Professionalism. Kindness and respect from everyone on the staff. Competency. From med techs to account managers, everybody knows their job and things run smoothly. Activities. There is always something going on. Musical performances, games, outings, craft projects, exercise classes, movies, holiday parties, fun food events, and more. Dining. We don't go hungry. There are three meals plus other food events and treats. The menu is varied and appealing. Soups are excellent. Breakfast is cooked to order—all the usuals all the time. Extras (not Legacy House staff). There is a beauty shop. A Home Health agency provides Physical Therapy, wound care, blood draws, etc. Nurse Practitioners are available in the building.

My wife and I looked at many assisted living homes throughout the Salt Lake and Davis County area. Our decision came down to one comment made by a resident we met at Legacy. This woman walked up to us without any introduction and said, Your mother will love this place.This unsolisted comment came at the perfect time for us. The Legacy Houses staff have kept us up to date at all times concerning my mothers day to day issues and have been a great assistance to us as a family. When I count my blessings each day, I am grateful that my dear Mother can live at Legacy Park Lane. I have such peace knowing that the staff not only care for her but that they truly love her. We only had 6 weeks from the time we moved my mother into the Memory Care Unit until Covid hit. In those 6 weeks, I was able to see the staff up close. I witnessed them touch, and hug my mother and tell her that they love her. Legacy Park Lane is the cleanest facility I have EVER been in. There is never a bad smell, never dirty and never a cross word from the staff. Truly... It is so important to me that if I cannot personally be with my Mom that I know she is being well cared for. I get teary even writing this review. I can confidently say that your loved one will be cared for and watched over with love.

I have two family members at Legacy. They both moved in when it first opened in October 2018. My mother has a beautiful apartment on the main floor with a patio. She is able to look out and see the mountains. She enjoys the many activities and the staff (Melissa) go out of their way to make sure she gets to them since she is in a wheelchair.My aunt is in the memory care unit. The staff is very patient with her, she has been a challenge. My mother and everyone that eats at Legacy rave about the food and Chef Izzy. The dining room is wonderful. It is light and spacious with white table linens for every meal. My aunt will only eat certain foods and the dining staff has made sure to honor that and make special things for her.The staff and nurses are friendly, caring and keeps us informed about our family members. When we walk in, we are warmly welcomed (Monica). The management is always quick to address any concerns we have. This is the place if you or your loved one needs a place to move to.

Legacy house has been a great place for our mom. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our mom was sitting at her home basically waiting to die and be carried out in a box. It got emotionally hard on us to visit her and see her that way. Weve tried for years to encourage her to make a move to assisted living. NO, would always be her answer. Well she got sick ending up in the hospital then rehab and now she is at legacy. THRIVING. We had all this happen during this covid time. Legacy was great working with us and the situation of covid at this time. Bring your loved to Legacy house to live. They will love it there.

This place is so absolutely beautiful! The staff is truly wonderful they are all such kind, caring, and compassionate people who provide excellent care! As a hospice nurse, I love coming into this facility and working with the staff together as a team to provide the best care for the residents. I would definitely recommend this place. We moved my 91 year old mom in to Legacy at Park Lane a few months ago after her falling and breaking her pelvis. She spent time in rehab for awhile. She came in at a very low weight and was in poor health. In just 2 months she honestly is healthier than she has been for the past few years. She has put on weight (food is delicious) she has met many friends and is very active. She looks forward to the wonderful musical entertainment and many activities that are perfectly planned for every interest. The staff is so friendly, kind and accommodating they really care about the All of their residence.The Medical staff has been amazing to my mom they are gentle and compassionate in their care.I cant say enough good about our experience here. It has been a wonderful experience for a very difficult time of life . Thank you to all of the staff at Legacy you truly are the BEST !
