I can not say enough amazing things about BeachHouse. We toured several facilities and moved our parents to BH from another reputable facility because they were not keeping up with the care that they required to implement and my mom was declining quicker and was becoming depressed. We did not have the ease of mind that they were well taken care of and spent most our time when visiting them following up on common things instead of spending quality time with them. The facility at BeachHouse is beautiful and welcoming. The staff is extremely friendly and go above and beyond and do it with such love and care. Gabriella (the Director of Community Relations) wears like 50 hats and is always walking around and talking to the residents as do all the people in the management team which was not the case at their other facility. Many closed office doors. And communication (which is so important) is unbelievable. The food is extremely good. I would never had eaten at the other facility and now my kids go to eat with my parents as well. My parents were often stuck in their apartment at the other faculty because my dad didn't want to leave my mom (who has dementia) and the staff at BH make sure to get my mom for events so my dad can go to things that interest him. (He is still independent). My parents have 7 children so we all took a lot of time checking off all the boxes and making sure we found a great faculty so rest assured a lot of homework was put into making this decision.

For the first time in a long time my mom can go to bed at night and not have to worry about my dad and the care which he is provided. For the first time my dad has never mentioned, " When can I come home". That speaks volumes for Beach House and the staff. My dad and I attended happy hour today, we had a beer and listened to Christmas music being played and as a father and son I couldn't be more happy.

Our mom has lived at the Beach House for 6 months now. We are grateful for the level of care and support to her and to us. It is never easy when looking for a community for your loved ones to live their final years. I looked at many local assisted living communities in the Tampa Bay Area and from the time we walked in, this community was far above expectations. There are activities if they want to participate, meals are pretty good. What impressed me the most was the happiness and contentment on the faces of residents, we had many say hello and every staff member greeted us like family. I can't say enough about their professionalism and care that our mom gets daily. The entire staff work together like a well oiled machine. You may visit other communities but please for your loved ones, visit the Beach House at Wiregrass.

I have been in Healthcare for over 15 years, so it really takes a lot to impress me in an ALF. It's not all about the piano in the lobby, or the crystal chandelier in the dining room. Good staff, amazing leadership, and cleanliness are far more important. Beach House is blessed to have "all of the above". I have referred clients to Beach House and will continue to do so.

My mom has been at the Beach House Wiregrass assisted living facility for almost five years. She has enjoyed many friendships with both residents and staff. The beautiful courtyard was a spot where she would often walk, sit with a friend after dinner or take part in the gardening club. Christine, the activities director is wonderful, loving, friendly and extremely patient. She hosts a variety of activities that the residents seem to enjoy! Mom especially enjoys going to the Bahama Breeze restaurant, playing Scrabble and Bingo, and taking part in the ice cream socials. There are family dinner events each month, as well as holiday celebrations! Bonnie, the executive director, is professional, caring, kind and compassionate. Walking by her office, you will find her door open, displaying her availability to family members with questions or concerns. During the difficulty years when Covid was raging, Bonnie implemented policies quickly that protected the residents and staff. Bonnie, herself, was often seen serving tables in the kitchen and working many extra hours when she was short staffed. Recently, when my mother broke her hip, Bonnie worked with me rapidly to move mom out of a skilled nursing environment and back to the Beach House into Memory Care because of the confusion the change in environments was causing. The Memory Care staff is so loving, gentle, patient, and kind with the residents. They have the sweetest aides and nurses! Gabriella, the marketing director works tirelessly helping both new and existing residents with whatever they may need. She is positive, friendly, kind and caring! John, the handy man, jack of all trades, is a favorite with the residents. His kindness, sense of humor, friendly personality is a blessing to the residents. He can fix anything and goes out of his way to make the residents happy! There is a long list of wonderful staff members-from the ladies at the front desk to the nurses and beyond. These individuals truly care for the residents. Every place has problems and I'm learning that my mom can't be watched 24/7 anywhere. However, I am so grateful that she is in a place where she is surrounded by such a caring community. Her friends missed her and welcomed her back while she was hospitalized. Staff members visited her- from the wonderful hair dresser to the Executive Director. The Beach House Wiregrass is a beautiful facility with a wonderful staff! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to call "home" for an aging parent.

All I can say is WOW! After touring several communities in search of the perfect home for my mother, Beach House has left me in awe. The Facility is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the residents are cared for and happy. I am anxiously waiting for an apartment to open up for mom since the community is currently full.

The Beach House has been absolutely wonderful with my in laws. They have been there for almost six months and the staff is amazing. They are engaged, caring, and supportive for health care issues. The entire facility is very clean. The activities staff puts a wide variety of activities out there for the residents to participate in. Communication is excellent--they are very open to feedback and fixing any issues they are informed of. They do seem to be having some staffing issues in the kitchen, which impacts the quality and timeliness of food served, however it is something they are aware of and working on improving. Overall, we have been very pleased with our experience there.

Beach House is a great place for your loved ones to live and an excellent place to work! The residents here are Family. Gabriel our Marketer isn't just the person who gets you in the door, she continues daily to keep you here and Happy. She is always available by phone for concerns and goes the extra mile of cleaning rooms, moving furniture and or planning events if it makes the resident and their families happy. Christine the Activities Director is always busy planning outings where residents can go shopping and eat out. She is always getting great live entertainment. Her Happy hour is such a hit that residents wanted two days a week to have it. John our Maintenance Director is always willing to go the extra mile to help new move ins. He gets a lot of request just so residents can enjoy his company. The community is always clean and warm and if a spill or puppy puddle appears there's always a smiling face to clean it up. Josh our Business office manager has one label but many jobs. He can cook a whole meal for resident's hang a TV, program a remote and put on a fire work show just to please our residents. Brad our Chef is always going to residents rooms or tables to go over diet request and or changes. He takes all the request to heart and does his best to accommodate new suggestions. Carla the Memory Care Director can work most under the table. She is always coming in all hours of the day and night to work the floor when there is a staff shortage. She spends her off hours baking cakes and pastries for Residents in Memory Care to have a personalized experience on their Birthdays. She does all the Beach House Nursing Scheduling and organized all the mind stimulating activities for the Residents in Memory Care. Traci the Director of Nursing has ushered in a tremendous Knowledge of Health Care professional who come in weekly to address every concern for most aging issues. We now have multiple in house physicians with different cultures and languages to accommodate any persons preference. We have an In house pharmacy that delivers same day. Psychiatry, Neurology and PCP's that round weekly along with Podiatry and choices of multiple Hospice services. We always have a nurse available to answer questions or concerns on Weekends. Bonnie the Executive Director is one in a million. She is always helping residents and staff in need. I have seen her do laundry, clean litter boxes, Cook in the kitchen and just sit with residents when they are having a hard time adjusting. She makes working at Beach House a real pleasure and I personally in my 25 years of working as a nurse have never been able to express my concerns like I can with her. Her door is always open. Beach House is an experience few have had the pleasure of working at. There is a reason staff and residents want to come back when they leave expecting something better on the other side. We are family here....

I spent the day at my father's independent living apartment yesterday. I had brunch with them at their facility. I feel compelled to compare the experience of his facility and my mom's at BH. Both my father and my mother are paying five grand approximately per month. Neither of my parents are needing nusing care . My dad who is 45 minutes south of Wesley chapel , in a place I won't say where, has twice the space of mom at the Beach House.... two bedrooms two baths, nice big kitchen and a living area. The food there is phenomenal restaurant quality and very consistent. Like a cruise ship! He has invited me to brunch and dinner many times. It's a lovely wonderful delicious experience. My mom is in a one bedroom one bath tiny kitchenette room. I ate at the beach house several times while moving my mother in. And I must say the food is borderline passable. In many cases the meat was beyond its shelf life and gagged me. I think there's a problem here with the purchasing of food and preparation and storage. Don't know what it is Don't know why it is, but there's definitely a problem with the food. The soups are good but the meats.... chicken in a salad, turkey and ham served as a main course. And to substantiate my claims, last week, over half the people in the dining hall sent the meal back and the chef came out to speak to us. Over the course of 3 weeks, three times the food has been bad. I know I'm going to get a lot of feedback from beach house for this review. But I stand by my word and my review and hope they do something to improve the quality of the meals served to these elderly individuals where nutrition is a huge part of staying well .

We have found that my mother is very well taken care of. While she is always clean and well-groomed, Beach Home is always clean and smells pleasant enough. After losing my father, it was a difficult decision to place Mom into an Assisted Living home. My family has no complaints. The nursing and management have been open and honest. Mother seems to enjoy the food and they have an experienced Chef and manager. Chef Glenn is always pleasant and cheerful and is proven to get a smile from Mom. We just came back from a drive by Mothers Day Parade for the residents and families. Beach House staff made the best day for us all despite social distancing; tears of happiness for the love and comfort Beach House is giving to our loved ones, especially when families cannot see them personally! My Mother was one of the first residents to move into Beach House when they opened in April 2018. As a 40 year registered nurse, I was very hesitant to hand over care of Mom, assuming no one else would take proper care of her. She first moved into the assisted living section and then moved to the Memory Care Unit as her condition warranted. The staff took care of the entire move and made the transition seamless. In the beginning, were some anticipated bumps, as with the opening of any new facility, but I was very impressed with the actions of the staff and management to smooth out any concerns promptly. I feel they make the effort to look at each resident individually and personalize their care. In comparison to other facilities we looked at, it is very clean, modern and beautifully decorated. The caregivers make it a point to know our family and not just provide day to day disjointed care. The nursing director is an RN with the necessary skills to assess and respond to changes of condition promptly. The management is available and approachable. The food is quite good and I am very comfortable with the security system and accessibliity to family. All in all, they do a very nice job in providing a safe and comfortable enviornment and stimulating care for the elder community.

Every place has bumps in the road, and the Beach House staff and nursing are very attentive to resolve issues that come up. Hello just wanted to share our experience at Beach House. Its a lovely and wonderful place for my mom. She loves it here for the most part. Her favorite is the food and I agree. We sat down for dinner with her yesterday and the food was delicious. This new dining director is doing a great job, much better than the last one they had. The whole dining staff was very nice and helpful. Keep up the great job!!! Now heres what I dont like about beach house. The nursing staff, from the nurses down to the cnas. I just dont see them Caring as they should. Especially the cnas, definitely could use more work. The activities here are awful, just plain awful. Whoever is in charge needs to get it together. Also I dont ever see the administrator. Is she hiding?? I dont see enough interaction from the directors with the residents. I know its still a new place and they still have to iron out a few issues but we like it enough to keep my mom here.

This post is on behalf of my dad Robert Payne ( passed away in Oct.) and my mom Annette Payne who is living at the beach house since they opened April 12 th! From the day we sat down to talk with Linda ( director) and Callie( assistant director) they have been like family to us. All of the staff , Nathan, Gillian, Melissa, Jennifer, Kathy, Judy, John, Sam...just to name a few, have gone out of their way to help all of my family with this whole process. Every time I go to the Beach House to see my mom they make us feel special and treat any concerns with utmost importance. My husband and I cant think of a better place for my mom to be and we rest comfortably knowing my mom in is good hands with lots of love and care. The staff checks on her periodically to be sure she is ok. They encourage her to attend functions. If she is alone they sit with her or eat dinner with her....they ALL go the extra - mile for the residences. Thank you Beach House for all you do for us!!

I love this place. My dad loves this place. The food is great and the director of culinary services (Jen) is so kind and treats all the residents very well. My dad says she makes him feel very comfortable. I dont know how any can say bad things about this place. Some people think they should be served hand and foot, maybe they should stay at home and hire Butler and maids.

The Beach House is a beautiful, first class facility. It is extremely clean, comfortable and safe. Linda and her staff truly care about their residents and go above and beyond to make them happy. The food is delicious and varied, and there are always homemade cookies and pastries available at the front desk and coffee area. My parents have a lovely, comfortable apartment that is well maintained by John, the head of maintenance, and cleaned weekly or more often, if needed. I highly recommend the Beach House if you are looking for an assisted living facility for yourself or a loved one.
