What a sweet community! My first visit to this community this morning and was pleased by the friendly welcome and very clean appearance, including the lovely grounds as I approached the entrance. Staff is friendly and residents look happy and clean. Nurses Brenda and Stephanie are also very friendly and love working here and serving their residents. Looking forward to visiting again.

Memory Care stood out most. Around-the-clock activities support cognitive health, and they personalize each resident’s door with large-scale cues from their past. It was a privilege for Thoughtful Additions to collaborate with Life Enrichment Coordinator Shay for our Grow With Me workshop and pop-up shop at The Legend of Mansfield. From entry, safety protocols were excellent and the transition was seamless. The workshop space was spacious and accommodating. Staff hospitality was A+ ” every team member greeted us with smiles and a warm welcome. The residents were joyful and fully engaged. After our workshop, we saw residents displaying their certificates and succulent plants outside their apartment doors. To see that immediate impact, all the way from Houston to Mansfield, was powerful. Everyone -- from the medical director to the servers in the dining room -- always have a friendly smile and a word of welcome. She is not only excellent at her job, she truly cares about her residents and works every day to help them live their best life. Both of my parents are at Legend Mansfield, and Len has spent countless hours supporting them while they navigate difficult changes in their health and lives. She goes so far above and beyond, truly knowing my parents and trying so hard to ease every difficulty that she can. She is an excellent communicator with my brother and I and has guided our family through this challenging time. I will be forever grateful to her for her kind heart and excellent leadership.

The tailgate party recently hosted by Legend for families of memory care residents was a wonderful experience! A nice opportunity to fellowship with other family members navigating similar circumstances. The Legend staff did a great job with food and decorations to create a welcoming atmosphere. The event was another example of how the Legend staff cares for the residents and cares about the families.

After my father passed in 2021 in Florida, mom wanted to go into an assisted living facility. As my brother was moving out of Florida upon retirement in less than a year mom had a choice of which child to live by. After Checking all of the assisted living places in Mansfield i showed mom the information on Legends of Mansfield. She chose to join me in Texas. Mom Lived there for 3 years until she passed in February 2025. The level of care mom received was amazing and I was there at least twice a week since I am retired. All of the staff from receptionist to housekeeping to nurses and aides were very loving and went over and above to help mom with anything she needed. I highly recommend Legends for any of your family that may need an assisted living or memory care facility. As i Said before the staff there was amazing.

One of the best facilities I've seen in a while. The staff is so nice and they have elaborate activities for their residents. It feels like a cozy little city when walking around. The rooms are personalized and the dining area reminds me of an elegant Luby's. I think this is a great place to retire and call home. They have an on-site salon that caters to all hair types and exercise classes to assist with keeping everyone moving! 10/10 would recommend!

I walked in the door to Legend emotionally and physically drained from dealing with my elderly mother. The decision to move her from her home was traumatic for everyone involved. As it turned out, my mother was too physically debilitated to become a resident. However, that didn't keep the staff, particularly Len, from assisting me in finding appropriate care for my mom. There counsel and kind words were a light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Should my mom's condition improve and she becomes a candidate for assisted living, I wouldn't consider placing her anywhere else. It's a beautiful facility with a wonderful and caring staff.

My brother and I visited this community last week for our mother. Ms. Melissa provided our tour for the Assisted Living side. The property is very beautiful and well maintained. It provides a lot of activities and services for the residents. We were both very pleased with what we saw. Ms. Melissa was an excellent tour guide and presented us with all the information we would need to make an informed decision. In addition, she was very warm, inviting and very knowledgeable. Everyone(employees and residents) we met and came in contact was friendly as well. Very positive experience!

We have been looking for a place for my mom and have looked at quite a few in the Arlington area. I never felt comfortable 100 percent in any place we looked. The place before Legends my husband and I walked out crying and I said I can’t do this to my mom. I decided to stay at home part time to be her caregiver. A week later with mom I knew this was not the best for her. Sitting at home doing nothing was not what mom needed. I called Legends at Mansfield just to see what they had to offer. We walked in the door and Miss Randi was very nice. Miss Melissa gave us a tour but before she did she asked my mom questions about herself and that was a great first impression. The community is very clean and inviting. They have special touches everywhere. The rooms were the best layout I’ve seen anywhere. The facility has so much more to offer. My mom even met a few new friends her first visit on the tour. AL there is top notch and Memory care I have to say is the cream of the crop. I was absolutely blown away at the level of care they offer. I actually cried talking to Melissa about my past experiences and told her how comfortable I felt here. If you are looking for a place for your loved one please go visit and see for yourself. The staff is AMAZING.

Small Move Same Day

Over the course of this past year my crew has had the pleasure of relocating seniors who require assistance into the Legend of Mansfield, which is a well kept, welcoming facility. The staff at the Legacy always makes sure that my guys are adequately accommodated with parking, clear hallways, and an ever present staff available just in case if they have any questions and/or concerns during their routine move-in. With this being said, we highly recommend the Legacy of Mansfield to any seniors in search of a new assisted living residence.

My mom has lived here for 4 years on the memory unit. I never believed that I would be able to find a place with staff like this. My mother is treated with smiles all day from every caregiver who sees her. Respect and dignity is the rule here. Certain staff members get much bigger smiles from her than I do sometimes. My mother gets help with staying clean and her individual needs are met. The unit looks nice and meals are individualized based on her wishes. Staff and administration are educated on Dementia as a disease process and I have witnessed them handle many scenarios with expertise. The unit itself was decorated and built based on data regarding Dementia. We appreciate all the staff. Nurse Stephanie is a jewel. She knows every resident and each family very well. She LOVES the residents and leads by example, often serving dinner and helping with any task. If I start naming staff, I’ll certainly leave someone out! Frankly, I can’t think of one that I can criticize. The staff have helped me cope as I watch my mother decline. Catch a spot here if you can! You won’t regret it. The peace of mind for us has been priceless!

This facility has been the most help in helping me figuring out where my family is needing to place my family member with Huntingtons. I spoke to Melissa and had a tour. The staff and facility felt like a home. I was nervous entering the building but as we walked through I could tell the residents that were there enjoyed and felt safe being there. Even though she was not sure my grandmothers current health would be accepted she put me in touch with another team that could be of more assistance. Beyond blessed to have walked into this place just for a tour because I got to leave with a sense of peace and being pointed in the right direction to get the help needed.

We couldn't be happier with Legend. Our grandfather had a few hospital stays in 2021/22 and it was evident that he needed better care than living alone at his home with home health could provide. It was a hard call. We needed a place close to most of our family and we needed to know it was going to be worth him having to leave home. We looked at almost a dozen places in the Mansfield/Fort Worth area before finding Legend. The staff is amazing, the facility is easy for our grandfather to navigate and he's getting the nutrition and social interaction he was missing at home. We're thankful at our luck to have found the right place the first time.

We moved mom into Legend in May and have lots of good things to say about most all of the staff they are very caring and available to help. Our biggest complaint is that the quality of the food seems to be decreasing . It’s just not as good as when we first moved her in. Hoping to see improvements soon.
