One of the best places for Adult Living. Great staff and a nice facility. Anita or other staff at the front desk are pleasant and helpful as soon as you enter the facility, Kyley is helpful and passionate about her job helping the residents and interacting with them. The staff here wear many hats and do a great job. Unfortunately every where you go (agencies, facilities and businesses) have a turn over in help, but staff here aren't afraid to pitch in where needed. Don't make a decision where to place a loved one before visiting Cedarhurst. Cedarhurst is my choice.

My parents are at the Cedarhurst Assisted Living Facility in Jacksonville IL. This is to let you know that we heard a number of good things about that facility before they moved in about a couple years ago. In that time they have come to love the staff and workers there. There are a number of very good things about it but there is one thing in particular that is not good that my parents complain about the most: the food! At their age one of the best things that they look forward to is eating but, according to the staff there, they (the kitchen staff) have no control over the menu or food offered. Their hands are tied. I think the board members of Cedarhurst need to spend a week at the facility and eat it themselves and see what they think about it. My mom has been a diabetic for over 50 years and struggles with keeping her blood sugar regulated. There needs to be more options associated with the elderly in her condition. Anyway, just wanted to say that there are good things we have seen there be there are some areas that definitely need improved upon. The meals are just one of them. Thank you.

Cedarhurst is a welcoming environment. I was seriously amazed at how wonderfully furnished the common areas were the first time I visited. The individual apartments are spacious and comfortable. I have observed the employees interactions with the residents to be genuine and kind. This is a place that I would live NOW, or anytime. 🙂

Mom lived here for over 2 years. It really is the most inviting and friendly place to live. The rooms are very large with their own bathroom and bedroom! The staff treated her with so much kindness and I always felt at home there when I went to visit her!

My Dad has lived at Cedarhurst for the past 8 months. I am very impressed with the caring and compassionate staff and management. The Activity Director is amazing and hard working. Nurses are competent and provide quality services. My Dad has improved since moving to Cedarhurst.

My mother was at Cedarhurst four several months before she passed. Both she and her family loved the experience and time we had there. The only regret was the we didnt move mom I earlier! The professional staff and also the young support staff a those working in the dinning room were extremely pleasant and showed a lot of passion in their work. Thank you!Steve West

The Cedarhurst staff go above & beyond for their residents. I have seen the staff as hard working and caring. Also, the facility is high quality & there are plenty of activities for people of various interests. I would highly recommend this for someone looking for a loved ones residence.

My mother is a resident at Cedarhurst. The staff is top notch! All are very friendly, kind and strive to be the best in their industry. They offer daily programs, activities, exercise and occasional outings. The building is spotless and so very lovely. The outdoor spaces are exceptional. Our family has been very pleased.
