I recently visited my aunt and was impressed at the cleanliness of the facility. There were no smells of urine and everything appears to be well maintained. They were having an emergency on one of the wings but were well staffed to divide and conquer. The directors were out helping the patients, moving furniture around, and talking to the repairmen, which I was surprised to see. The way they kept things calm while also navigating such an intense situation was impressive. I was most impressed by the nurse Nicky.

I am the legal representative for a current resident and former representative for 2 others who reside/did reside (before death or move to nursing home skilled care) at Spring Arbor. I also have several personal friends who live and have lived there. While I am aware that individual experiences can differ, I cannot agree with certain reviews I have seen here. The broad experience I have had in differing circumstances at Spring Arbor has been professional, positive, and compassionate. As a professional guardian advocate with more than a decade of experience in practice coupled with medical background, I zeroed in on Spring Arbor Senior Living Williamsburg for a number of reasons: smaller size NOT owned by a large corporation Clean and smell-free facility Wide variety of activities Many services available on site Caring, well-trained care staff and fully engaged administration Adherence to regulation and practice standards Varied living space choices Decent menu options Flexibility of care options I choose this community based on my professional observations, as well as high recommendations from people I know who lived there or have/had family there. Every one of those residents was/is well cared for and attended to. I have not yet been left with unanswered questions. This kind of work is not for everyone, and I have seen many who are ill-suited to this work in other places. Not here.

Hostile environment by Firector and staff. Working conditions are horrible with lack of staff and turnover in management. 2 Directos and 3 nurse managers in 1 years time. Not member of BBB due to lack of quality. 1- run out 2-serve food in toxic styrofoan containers and fire hazard when reheated w/bacon in microwave 3-intimidate residents to give up names to fire caregivers 4-products taken out of rooms then bookkeeper wants to recharge you 5- if you question the system Director tries to bully and file “vacate Premises notices” 6- has staff work in favor of Director to shun residents loved ones. Gazette news paper will publish article soon on this poor quality factory and workers/residents asking for [name removed] resignation. Beware of this facility Reports recently submitted to state dept with infractions

My husband was with the memory care at Spring Arbor Williamsburg for 13 months before he passed. We considered the staff and residents like family. The facility is very nice, but it’s just a building. It’s the people inside that make the difference. It was important to me for my husband to have a quality of life not just a place to rest his head and we found it here. I will hold each of them, dear to my heart always for the compassion and tenderness that they showed my husband.

As a medical provider to nursing home facilities, I found Spring Arbor of Williamsburg to be one of the best I have ever visited. The guest bathrooms were spotless and the beautiful facility was well kept. The staff were extremely helpful and Kimberly even made a tedious phone call about a Medicare inquiry for me. Another staff member saw that my water bottle was out of water and without even asking me, she brought me two cold bottled waters from their fridge. I highly recommend this facility and would entrust my loved ones in their excellent hands.

Mom has been living at Spring Arbor of Williamsburg for 4 years and has enjoyed the care, companionship and peace of mind she has experienced there. We her family are impressed with the individuals who provide consistent support to her for daily living needs: nourishment, medical attention, and personal care. The facility is well maintained, beautifully designed and decorated. It is close to us and so we are able to visit often (pre-Covid-19 restrictions) which is reassuring and healthful for the family. The staff are kind and capable, they are communicative and responses. We are happy the selection of Spring Arbor has worked so well for mom and for her kids. We recommend you check out Spring Arbor for yourself or a family member’s assisted living needs.

I will always be grateful to the wonderful staff at Spring Arbor. When it became necessary for my mother to go into an at home hospice program Spring Arbor took on more duties and worked out a care schedule that enabled her to remain a Spring Arbor resident in her home of nearly 10 years. The entire staff treated her and our family with love, respect and kindness.

Nana spent over a year at Spring Arbor and although she was unable to express her opinion of the care she was given, I can. The care, understanding, and love that Nana received from the care-givers at this facility was outstanding. The facilities, themselves, were kept in great condition. The food is very good, the environment is engaging and other residents seemed genuinely happy and content. Nana was loved by this staff of wonderful people. I am grateful!!
