Moms been in there a week so far most everyone is kind , especially Jordan and Reagan seems always ready to help you when needed . Food is very good and my mother seems to have acclimated despite falling 3 times already

My father lived at Cadence at Mint Hill for almost 18 months, and I was very pleased with the care he received there. The facility was always clean, and the staff seemed to be constantly working to keep residents’ rooms and common areas neat and comfortable. The staff was always friendly, caring, and quick to respond to my father’s needs. It was clear they truly cared about the residents. I also thought the activities were wonderful”engaging, age-appropriate, and designed to help keep residents active both mentally and physically. Our family especially enjoyed the events that included loved ones, and the Thanksgiving feast for residents and families was especially memorable. Cadence gave us comfort and peace of mind, and I can honestly say I only hope that if I ever need this kind of care later in life, I can find a place as caring as Cadence.

My 86 year old parents are residents at Cadence. We were very fortunate to find Cadence. The staff (CNA’s, maintenance folks, medical folks and even the cooks) are very caring. My parents have been there together in the same room with each other for almost 2 years. Mr.Ronnie also comes by almost daily to see if he can help them with anything that needs fixing. I work full time and I’m an only child with a very busy life raising my granddaughter as well but I manage to go by a lot to be sure my parents are taken care of.i have always been very well pleased with how helpful the staff is and eager to take care of my parents and other elderly people that need to be taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to place their loved one in a caring environment where their needs are met. Everyone there has become part of my family! They all are top shelf!

Cadence has been a blessing for our family - showing genuine care and concern by the staff, readiness to help with challenging situations and acclimating our loved one beautifully. I have had the opportunity to volunteer at this retirement community. I am not the children or relative of a loved one so no one has to ever be on guard around me. HOWEVER, I have never been more impressed with the genuine love and care the staff provides these residents.The residents are respected and loved. Their needs are before anything else. I would consider it an honor to have my loved one there or even be there myself one day. Way to go Cadence team. I wish each facility had you warmth, love and grace. God bless you all.

Moved my mom from another facility due to a horrible experience only after being there for 2 months to Cadence at Mint Hill. I could not have made a better choice. She was at Cadence for 7 months before passing. I cannot say there was a time where we were unhappy about any handling of my moms care. Cadence has some really good staff members who are very attentive, caring and respectful. The facility is clean. You can visit any time day or night. If you have a loved one that needs Assisted Living or Memory Care I would definitely recommend Candence at Mint Hill.

My Mom has lived at Cadence in Mint Hill for almost one year. The staff has made Mom feel very welcome, cared for and loved since she has moved there. They offer many fun activities that Mom enjoys participating in and they work very hard at keeping the residents engaged on a daily basis. Mom has made many friends there and enjoys their company as well as the employees who work there. She tells me how good the food is and the chefs there strive to offer a nice variety of meals. Our Mom and family are very content with Cadence.

Cadence at Mint Hill is fairly new. It's very clean and up-to-date. The staff go above and beyond to strive for the best quality of life for our loved one. It's a smaller facility, so my mother will never be a number or get lost in a crowd. Cadence is a blessing for our family.

My father moved to Cadence - Assisted Living, a month ago.... the move has been wildly successful! I recommend you check it out for both Assisted Living and Memory Care. 1. Staff is positive, proactive, and patient. My father comments almost daily on how helpful and kind staff is, adding they take the time to chat, and check on his needs frequently (family adds, they also try to anticipate needs). 2. Facility works hard to keep lines of communication flowing. They unfailingly respond to any question, reach out regularly with helpful information to family, and offer activities and visitation information as well as a message app on-line. 3. In addition to posting activity schedules on-line and on a facility board, the staff hands out a daily activity sheet to each resident..... very helpful for those with hiccuping memory issues. Staff appropriately encourages residents to participate, and looks for opportunities to schedule fun gatherings, ride-alongside, activities for small and large groups... activities director very hands on and gets excellent support. 4. There are both inside and outside areas for activities and visitation, and staff does a great job of trying to schedule weather appropriate activities outside. 5. Food is great and chef is savvy about dietary needs and issues. 6. Rooms are well-lit and comfortable. Bathrooms are handi-capped accessible 7. Pricing is very competitive My father says, I like this place, I am happy here.... large opinionated family all agree, They are happy too!!!! Check it out
