I knew from the moment I walked through the door of the beautiful home, that this was the place for the care of my husband that I would be comfortable with. Our beloved great aunt spent her last nine months of life at Mustang Creek Estates Sachse. The andministrators and caregivers truly gave her their best. It was night and day the difference between Mustang Creek and the previous larger assisted living residence she had lived in for three years. Mustang Creek is designed to feel like Home with an inviting living area that is open to the dining room and the kitchen in the middle, with halls on either side of the home that lead to the residents’ rooms. The housekeeper and caregivers all contribute to keeping the home very clean and bright. There were two caregivers at all times in the homes day and night in the house my aunt was in, which was the dedicated Hoyer lift house. Caregivers can only truly be called such if they GIVE CARE. At Mustang Creek, they do. The administrators strive to make sure the employees are the right fit. When my aunt passed away this past week, the staff comforted us with tears in their eyes. The residents become their family.

As a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation driver, I have the privilege of visiting many assisted living facilities across the area ” and I can confidently say Mustang Creek stands out in the best way. Every time I pick up or drop off residents here, I see how well cared for and respected they are. The facility is always clean, organized, and calm, and the staff consistently shows patience and genuine compassion. I want to give a special acknowledgment to April, the administrator at Building C. She is truly exceptional. April is always professional, warm, and attentive to the needs of every resident. She makes sure transportation is smooth, communicates clearly, and ensures residents are prepared and supported for their appointments. Her leadership is evident in the positive atmosphere throughout the building. From my perspective on the outside looking in ” this is a place where people are truly cared for. I would highly recommend this facility to any family searching for a safe and loving home for their loved one.

This facility feels like home. April, Lorene, and their staff are always pleasant. Everyday we are greeted with smiles and "Good Morning." My family members have been residents and employees of various assisted living facilities and have yet to find one as compassionate and caring as the staff at Mustang Creek Estates Sachse. You can tell from design of the properties which yield itself to an incredulous feeling of "home sweet home," to the entire staff that they truly care about the residents and family members. So many commercials perpetuate the notion that they employ a caring and loveable staff, but this location actually holds true to the promise of taking care of your loved ones. Whether it's your parents, your spouse, or your brother, or sister, you can rest assured that they will be given optimal care at this facility. I once believed that anyone who worked in this business was there because of the compassion they possessed for seniors. I have come to discover that Mustang Creek Estates is one of the rare facilities that actually hold true to this mindset and demeanor. My father moved into MCE Assisted Living about a month ago and overall it has been a great experience from working with Bill, the sales rep who also has a servants heart and does whatever is needed. LC the maintenance guy is very attentive, Billie the Executive Director worked hard to help us with the transition, and I echo the praise of Janice who is extraordinary in caring for the residents in House E. She is a woman of compassion, love and grace with an incredible work ethic. Michelle, the activities staff is full of energy and personally engages with residents to connect and have fun. All of the staff is always positive and helpful. Kiki, Sierra, Passion, Jennifer, and many more. I still don’t know all the staff or the system they may have or if they rotate them from house to house? I am still working with Trinity, the Pharmacy, but it takes time. Nothing is perfect but I’m so grateful for this transition of care for my dad after losing my mom recently from dementia. Thank you MCE for you love, care and your work. You are appreciated.

***Updated Post*** Our experience at this location was not the greatest. I'm of the opinion that the most important thing to them is headcount, not quality of care. There was neglect within the first week of us moving her in, and when addressed, we were assured things would improve. She was moved to the house she should have originally been in, but I guess initially wasn't b/c there wasn't room for her. In this house, she had more than one fall, and of course, we were not ever shown the video to understand what caused the fall. The employees lie to cover themselves when they allow injury to occur. The list goes on, but I'll say this, if you put your loved one here, you'd better install a camera and be able to constantly visit to ensure some level of decent care. The cost to house your loved one does not show in the level of care provided. The ratio of employees doesn't seem to fit the number of residents. Residents constantly take other residents' things, and we know this b/c of the camera we had installed. We removed my mil, and of course items were missing, but it is what it is. She's in a better place, with better care. ********************* I've been concerned about my mil's decline for a couple of months. She had been moved into another house in an effort to improve her condition. With that being said, I am rating Stephen Summons a 5, not the company. This young man, in the short time my mil has been in his house he is already making an impact, I love how he cares for her, and encourages her. I am hopeful that with his continued care (as well as his staff) that my mil will be back to wanting to take walks, and go for our pedicures again. Thank you so much Stephen & team!

We have been at Mustang Creek for two months now. Our loved one that is here now feels safe, appreciates that there are home cooked meals daily, and just knowing there is someone that is close by is comforting for him. He has lived by himself for a long time and the stress of finding food when not being able to drive was overwhelming and he now feels comfort in knowing he doesn’t have to worry about that, he has hygiene care and can get those weekly shaves. We can see that the staff truly cares for their residents. We have received multiple phone calls when something is needed or if they have a concern or our loved one isn’t feeling well. I am sure things can always be done differently or better, but we feel a sense of security in knowing he has people close by and checking on him daily.

When I spoke with April about my dad she went to the facility and met him the same day. The environment at Mustang Ridge is very family oriented and filled with love and care. April has contacted me as late as 8pm pushing things along for me. Every roadblock I ran into she told me, don’t worry about it I will handle it and she did. Mustang Creek Estates was a godsend for our mom. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and a place where we could enjoy visiting her. She had entered a season of life where she needed a lot of hands-on care with cleaning and feeding, and the staff there was absolutely the best at making sure she was always comfortable and cared for. Every time we visited, we loved hearing them say how much they loved her, as they told us of their daily interactions with her. They were always so kind to her and so sweet to even listen to the things she loved to eat and provide them when possible. Placing loved ones in other peoples’ care is not always easy, so having full trust and confidence in the staff gives such peace of mind. We feel our mom had the happiest last few months of her life she could have had, and this was made possible by April and her staff that cared for her as if she was their own mom. We highly recommend Mustang Creek Estates as a wonderful alternative for anyone that needs a beautiful home-like atmosphere for their loved ones.

I have been extremely happy with my mom living at Mustang Creek Estates of Sachse. My mom was not doing well living at home alone. My mom has dementia and was starting to regress. She was also lonely and falling into a deep depression. She got sick because she was not able to care for herself. After a hospital stay, April Hastings, was very helpful in helping me get my mom moved into Mustang Creek. It happened very quickly and without any delays, which was a blessing. Mom had a hard time at first (about 2 months) but now 7 months into it she is thriving like I have not seen her thrive in so long. She has friends and she is participating in activities and has gained 20 pounds, which was very much needed, because she is actually eating and socializing and not staying in bed 16+ hours a day, as she was doing at home. The staff at Building D is amazing!! They are always willing to listen and help with anything. My mom loves them and feels very comfortable and safe with them. LaTara is an amazing person who takes very good care of my mom. She is a true leader and I can count on her for anything. Donny is pure greatness also, he is so kind and my mom adores him. He is always so attentive and helpful with anything that that is needed. I can always count on Kim as well. She is easy to talk to and helps with anything needed. The food they cook is awesome also. It always smells so good in House D. I am grateful and blessed for all of the staff at Mustang Creek. This has been the best experience for my mom and for me. My mom is truly happy and I feel comfortable with her being there and sleep better than I have in a while with her being so safe and cared for.

I can say that the staff is EXCELLENT. My mom can be a handful and was aked to leave her assisted living due to behavior issues. The caretakers are Angels especially the ones in House B (memory care unit) where my mom lives, They have learned how to deal with her moods and let her rest when they can tell she needs an extra nap or even just some kind words to soothe her. She has been there 3 years and I have no intention of moving her. Bless you for the care you give to her that I her daughter no longer can provide. Hugs to all staff.

Dad has been there since the opening. It is the best of three places that we have tried in area. Friendly place, both staff and residents. The director, Sharon, has proved to be a valuable source of information when trying to navigate through decisions we needed to make, sometimes in an emergency. She is a wealth of knowledge on eldercare issues.

My Grandmother is a current resident at Mustang Creek Estates in Sachse. She has been there for about 4 months. I've been to see her several times at different times of the day and evening. Everyone is always nice and welcoming. My Grandmother is well taken care of and seems to like the staff a great deal. Everyone is very helpful. The management staff is very helpful too. The Executive Director knows the residents by name and always stops to speak with them and their families. The caregivers are truly caring and work well with my Grandmother. Overall, this is a the best place my Grandmother has ever lived in, other than her own home. Thanks Mustang Creek for taking such good care of my Grandmother.

We love Mustang Creek Estates in Sachse! Dad was one of the first to move in, so they call him The Mayor! This is truly a home, not a facility, and the residents are treated with love and respect by a staff who cares about their health and well-being. The home is clean and smells of home cooking! They engage the residents in daily activities and even go out on trips. We had a great time at the Ballad Street Cafe. It is such a great comfort to know that dad is receiving quality care!

Recently in past month moved Mom here. Wow she is doing so much better. The staff is dedicated to each resident's individual needs. Meals are home like cooked in the bright clean kitchen. Aroma of rolls baking is so nice. Facility is well maintained. Staff is always available to discuss residents wants and needs. So happy we found a nice home for Mom.
