The executive director at Mustang Creek Estates in Sachse has been very helpful when it comes to helping my friend who stays there. He is not an easy person to please.She goes out of her way to make him feel welcome. The place is very spacious and clean.i recommend this place Fresh food is cooked daily and it is very good

My experience is with Kendra and Kameera. Kendra really runs House F at Mustang Creek Estates. My mother doesn't always want to do. Kendra says she needs to do, but Kendra makes sure Mom is well cared for. Kameera was very helpful when mom took a fall a couple of weeks ago and checked in to see how she was doing at the hospital. That was much appreciated

Updated Post Our experience at this location was not the greatest. I'm of the opinion that the most important thing to them is headcount, not quality of care. There was neglect within the first week of us moving her in, and when addressed, we were assured things would improve. She was moved to the house she should have originally been in, but I guess initially wasn't b/c there wasn't room for her. In this house, she had more than one fall, and of course, we were not ever shown the video to understand what caused the fall. The employees lie to cover themselves when they allow injury to occur. The list goes on, but I'll say this, if you put your loved one here, you'd better install a camera and be able to constantly visit to ensure some level of decent care. The cost to house your loved one does not show in the level of care provided. The ratio of employees doesn't seem to fit the number of residents. Residents constantly take other residents' things, and we know this b/c of the camera we had installed. We removed my mil, and of course items were missing, but it is what it is. She's in a better place, with better care. I've been concerned about my mil's decline for a couple of months. She had been moved into another house in an effort to improve her condition. With that being said, I am rating Stephen Summons a 5, not the company. This young man, in the short time my mil has been in his house he is already making an impact, I love how he cares for her, and encourages her. I am hopeful that with his continued care (as well as his staff) that my mil will be back to wanting to take walks, and go for our pedicures again. Thank you so much Stephen & team!

We have been at Mustang Creek for two months now. Our loved one that is here now feels safe, appreciates that there are home cooked meals daily, and just knowing there is someone that is close by is comforting for him. He has lived by himself for a long time and the stress of finding food when not being able to drive was overwhelming and he now feels comfort in knowing he doesn't have to worry about that, he has hygiene care and can get those weekly shaves. We can see that the staff truly cares for their residents. We have received multiple phone calls when something is needed or if they have a concern or our loved one isn't feeling well. I am sure things can always be done differently or better, but we feel a sense of security in knowing he has people close by and checking on him daily.

April and Michelle are wonderful compassionate ladies. They worked hard to get my father-in-law set up in the residence. Even locating a hospital bed while we were trying to get approved for hospice. The staff in the house were very attentive to his needs. Dee and Sharonda we're very loving caretakers. LC , the maintenance guy got everything set up for Dad to make him comfortable. The residents are welcoming eager to join in on activities. I would recommend this place to anyone in need.

I want to start off by saying that I never met two women, April Hastings and Michelle Knight that showed me so much empathy and compassion with moving my dad from another facility that was unwilling to care for him. When I spoke with April about my dad she went to the facility and met him the same day. The environment at Mustang Ridge is very family oriented and filled with love and care. April has contacted me as late as 8pm pushing things along for me. Every roadblock I ran into she told me, don't worry about it I will handle it and she did. I have a family member at Mustang Creek Estates in Sachse. They have been wonderful. The staff is very caring and attentive. They were even able to get my family member out of her room (which we did not think would ever happen) and participating in some activities. I would say they are not always perfect; however, the Executive Director, April Hastings, will move heaven and earth to make things right. They go the extra mile to make sure my family member is happy and that our family is happy. I highly recommend Mustang Creek Estates in Sachse.

Mustang Creek Estates was a godsend for our mom. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and a place where we could enjoy visiting her. She had entered a season of life where she needed a lot of hands-on care with cleaning and feeding, and the staff there was absolutely the best at making sure she was always comfortable and cared for. Every time we visited, we loved hearing them say how much they loved her, as they told us of their daily interactions with her. They were always so kind to her and so sweet to even listen to the things she loved to eat and provide them when possible. Placing loved ones in other peoples' care is not always easy, so having full trust and confidence in the staff gives such peace of mind. We feel our mom had the happiest last few months of her life she could have had, and this was made possible by April and her staff that cared for her as if she was their own mom. We highly recommend Mustang Creek Estates as a wonderful alternative for anyone that needs a beautiful home-like atmosphere for their loved ones.

Mustang Creek Estates community in Sachse is a wonderful home for my Mom. It is kept extremely clean and all of the staff members are super friendly and attentive. From our initial encounter with Sales to the house staff and Director; everyone has been such a blessing. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the MCE family. The first appealing aspect for us, is the way the homes are setup and number of residents per home (14) which promotes much needed social interactions. Every week is filled with fun activities for residents to participate in if they choose. Home-cooked meals are delicious! Our family has peace of mind knowing our Mom is well taken care of, truly enjoying her days and getting everything she needs.

I have been extremely happy with my mom living at Mustang Creek Estates of Sachse. My mom was not doing well living at home alone. My mom has dementia and was starting to regress. She was also lonely and falling into a deep depression. She got sick because she was not able to care for herself. After a hospital stay, April Hastings, was very helpful in helping me get my mom moved into Mustang Creek. It happened very quickly and without any delays, which was a blessing. Mom had a hard time at first (about 2 months) but now 7 months into it she is thriving like I have not seen her thrive in so long. She has friends and she is participating in activities and has gained 20 pounds, which was very much needed, because she is actually eating and socializing and not staying in bed 16+ hours a day, as she was doing at home. The staff at Building D is amazing!! They are always willing to listen and help with anything. My mom loves them and feels very comfortable and safe with them. LaTara is an amazing person who takes very good care of my mom. She is a true leader and I can count on her for anything. Donny is pure greatness also, he is so kind and my mom adores him. He is always so attentive and helpful with anything that that is needed. I can always count on Kim as well. She is easy to talk to and helps with anything needed. The food they cook is awesome also. It always smells so good in House D. I am grateful and blessed for all of the staff at Mustang Creek. This has been the best experience for my mom and for me. My mom is truly happy and I feel comfortable with her being there and sleep better than I have in a while with her being so safe and cared for.

My experience with Michelle has been excellent so far. We are in the process of getting my wife settled into a memory care unit. Michelle laid out the process for my daughter and me. And then provided a tour of the actual unit my wife would be using. She also provided a tour for my wife as well allowing my wife to actually meet some of the staff and residents of the unit. The experience so far has gone smoothly and I look forward to it continuing that way.

I can say that the staff is EXCELLENT. My mom can be a handful and was aked to leave her assisted living due to behavior issues. The caretakers are Angels especially the ones in House B (memory care unit) where my mom lives, They have learned how to deal with her moods and let her rest when they can tell she needs an extra nap or even just some kind words to soothe her. She has been there 3 years and I have no intention of moving her. Bless you for the care you give to her that I her daughter no longer can provide. Hugs to all staff.

We love Mustang Creek Estates in Sachse! Dad was one of the first to move in, so they call him The Mayor! This is truly a home, not a facility, and the residents are treated with love and respect by a staff who cares about their health and well-being. The home is clean and smells of home cooking! They engage the residents in daily activities and even go out on trips. We had a great time at the Ballad Street Cafe. It is such a great comfort to know that dad is receiving quality care!

My Grandmother is a current resident at Mustang Creek Estates in Sachse. She has been there for about 4 months. Ive been to see her several times at different times of the day and evening. Everyone is always nice and welcoming. My Grandmother is well taken care of and seems to like the staff a great deal. Everyone is very helpful. The management staff is very helpful too. The Executive Director knows the residents by name and always stops to speak with them and their families. The caregivers are truly caring and work well with my Grandmother. Overall, this is a the best place my Grandmother has ever lived in, other than her own home. Thanks Mustang Creek for taking such good care of my Grandmother.

Although the facility and employees were quite lovely and welcoming, this is still a corporate run entity. My mother had been caring for her husband with Alzheimers by herself for years, the doctors told her in the spring she had to place him in assisted living. She found Mustang Creek and loved it, the expectation being he would be there for at least 2 - 3 years, as there was nothing in his medical charts to make anyone think otherwise. Sadly, he died after spending only 5 days at the facility. Mom ran around town buying everything he would need to live there, a bed, nightstand, dresser, bath accoutruments, recliner chair, etc., paid the deposit, all the fees. After he died, We even rushed to clear out the room knowing there was a wait list and it was the 1st of the month. When shed asked about getting her deposit back, he only spent 5 days there, the Sachse site said they would get back to her, 3 months later still nothing so she wrote a letter to corporate. Their comment, you did not give thirty days notice her response I could not give notice, he died to which they concluded the call accusing her of knowing he was going to die and placing him so she would not have to deal with the death. WHAT THE HELL! This is a total crock of feces, she could have spent way less money keeping him at home and calling the fire department everytime he fell. I am still fuming two months later over corporate accusing her of dumping him there to die, this very inconsiderate employee did not have a clue what Hell they put her through with that allegation. If you place your loved one here, they will be taken care of but do not expect to get your deposit back if they die unexpectedly. You need to be considerate of the corporate bean counters and plan their death so you can give proper notice because they will not be considerate of you or the emotional state being experienced. Pretty place, remember you will be dealing with a business at the end and corporate does not have any sense on compassion and will accuse you of ill behavior to keep any monies which might be due to you.

Mustang Creek Estates is amazing. I visited several other communities but felt as though I was in a hotel or a nursing home. Mustang Creek made me feel very welcome - every employee I met stopped to say hello to me. They were knowledgeable and took the time to tell me a little bit about what they do. I also liked the home-like feel in each house. The residents were sitting in the living room enjoying visiting with each other. Cookies were baking in the oven and they offered me a warm cookie to take with me. Mustang Creek Estates is head and shoulders above any other community I have visited!
