My grandfather moved in almost a year ago and we have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the facility and staff. They host wonderful events for the family and friends of residents and the food is always delicious! Everyone here is so joyful and fun and the residents are so happy. I toured Magnolia Springs East recently with Amy, the Sales Director. It is a beautiful community! The residents were active during my visit doing a painting activity. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to welcome me. The menu looked delicious and had many great options on it. I would recommend touring this lovely community.

I have an uncle who at Magnolia Springs East in July 2021. First it aunt and uncle and we lost my aunt July 2023. The moved her to memory care in May before she past. It was fast but she was happy. Magnolia Springs East has a wonderful friendly staff that has always made me feel welcome and I know that my family members are in a wonderful safe place. The staff at front desk, waitress in dining room , chef's are amazing. Everyone is wonderful and always greets you in the hallways, elevator etc. This is now JAN 2024 and I am so glad my uncle is at Magnolia Springs East. My family is happy and enjoys being at Magnolia Springs East

Our sister was very impressed with Magnolia Springs East. The Community Director Sue was terrific. She explained the philosophy of the community, the amenities, the care continuity of the staff, the activities, the various levels of engagement and the residents seemed happy. All so important when families are looking for such facilities for their loved ones.

In my search for a senior living community that would provide more support for my mom and dad, I connected with Sue Winking at Magnolia Springs. I had so much to learn and had so many emotions and thoughts to process! Sue provided me with so much support and resources...so many invaluable tidbits of wisdom ranging from how to have a successful move to using a red placemat to increase appetite. It's obvious that she considers her role at Magnolia Springs not just a job, but a passion, and she represents the lovely, caring staff ranging from the chef to care providers so well! All of them being caring professionals that have the highest work ethic. Besides the staff, the things I loved most about the community were the connection to vibrant faith communities, outdoor spaces, comprehensive brain health programming for all the residents, and large units which even have an option for a stackable washer and dryer. It is one of the best communities I visited in the area.

Magnolia Springs East Louisville is a wonderful community. The staff work tirelessly to serve the residents and families, and to provide the very best possible experience. It has been so challenging (for everyone) during Covid, but especially for staff to keep residents engaged and spirits high during lockdowns and other protective measures. They are on the front line and deserve all the appreciation and gratitude we can give. Special shout out to Director of Life Enrichment Amy Webb who is a literal super hero!

That's what's been occupying my mind lately, so I made a list of places to visit. I started with Magnolia Springs East where I met a delightful person, Sue Winking, who arranged for us to have a beautiful and tasty luncheon and then took me on a tour of this upbeat and welcoming facility where every staff member I met seemed to thoroughly enjoy their job. In my opinion l saw the best, then why should I bother with the rest?

My mother received the professional care she needed in a loving and caring environment The entire community from the executive director, medical staff, personal care team, food service, custodial and maintenance personnel were responsive to my mother and us 24/7. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Magnolia Springs. The residents and staff appeared to enjoy the facilities as well. We had concerns about the area behind the facility for walking, our parents aren't super steady and we could see them possibly taking a roll down the hill. For the price per month vs the services we felt our folks would thrive in a different location where the monthly fee wasn't as high..... Thank You Sue for taking the time to tour us.

I highly recommend Magnolia Springs East as an assisted living and memory care facility. The staff there especially Nancy Orr-Rainey and Sue Winking are very knowledgeable and helpful. They both went the extra mile to help me with looking for a memory care unit for my mother that has dementia. The facility is very beautiful and clean. I highly recommend this to individuals who are looking into an Assisted Living Facility for themselves or a Memory Care Facility for their loved ones with cognitive deficits. I am so grateful for staff members frank, compassionate assessment of my parents needs, their understanding of the emotional stakes involved in this transition, and their willingness to be available via phone and text message through the entire process. My 97-year-old dad has lived at Magnolia Springs East (MSE) since they opened. MSE has always been an outstanding assisted living community. because they are so well-managed, and the care team is terrific. But I cant express enough appreciation for the way they have handled the COVID crisis. From the beginning they established safe protocols practiced by the staff and the residents. Its clear they always make decisions based on the welfare of everyone at MSE. The Directors communications to the entire MSE community (including family members) are thorough, honest, timely and transparent. If you or your parents are looking for an assisted living, you will feel comfortable because there are no secrets and the residents and staffs safety is #1. My father-in-law lives in a supportive living congregate setting in Illinois. In contrast to MSE, my husband receives NO information about the status of COVID infections or prevention measures. Our trust level with them is very low. On the other hand, we have complete confidence that Nancy Orr-Rainey and her team are doing everything possible to safeguard our loved ones and the staff who care for them. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

Although Magnolia Springs wound up not being the place that was suitable for our loved one, the staff here cared enough to help us locate someone who could assist us in getting her situated in a facility that did fit her needs. I cannot sing enough praise about the staff at Magnolia Springs. Nancy was so helpful with advice and was really concerned about the well being of my father, not just an admission. She went above and beyond to make sure that he had the best care possible, even if it meant placement at another facility. She also helped me to understand more about dementia and what the best treatment can be. All the staff have a way of making you feel like you are not alone in the long road of Alzheimers but that they really care and want your parent to live their best life. I have toured nearly every memory care facility in Louisville and I have to say the help I got here, was by far the best. Thanks Nancy, you are top notch and you are changing lives of desperate families everyday. Keep up the great work!

As a staging and design coordinator with Living Spaces by Lyn, I assisted Magnolia Springs East in readying their property for a photo shoot. The beautiful facility has so much to offer... two large outdoor patios, gardening, a theatre, game rooms, a library, exercise room and much more. Even more appealing was the professionalism and engagement of the staff. They work diligently to see that all residents are safe, comfortable and feel at home. Magnolia Springs East appears to be a wonderful home away from home for many senior residents.

Everybody we have dealt with there is caring and easy to work with. We recently moved my 92 year old mother-in-law here and have been very impressed with everything thus far. The staff and the outside providers for medical, OT, PT, and speech therapy have all been excellent.

My father has been a resident of Magnolia Springs East for a number of years. As I live out of town, it eases my mind to hear how happy he is when I call him and how good he looks when I see him. He enjoys the varied activities they offer, from Chair Volleyball to road trips to celebration days throughout the year. He loves the food and the staff. I like that they interact with him as both friends and caring professionals.

My brother and I recently made the difficult decision to move our mother into the memory care unit at Magnolia Springs East. The staff is wonderful and the activities throughout the day keep my mom busy and social. Two things she was not getting being at home by herself. I cannot recommend this facility enough.

One huge benefit for us is that since Magnolia Springs has a memory unit, many of their staff are aware of what to watch for as early stages of dementia and other memory conditions digress over time. This is particularly helpful since our loved one is in the Assisted Living area, but will likely go to Memory Way (the memory unit) in the future. In short, Magnolia Springs has a great team who truly care combined with the knowledge and skills to make a difference!

My mother in has been here for 3 years. They have the best employees. It gives us peace of mind knowing we can work and she is taken care of. We can go out of town and not have to worry about her. If you are looking for a place for your parents Magnolia Springs is the best. We never have to worry to wonder if my mother in law is taken care of. We have recently moved her sister there and they each have their own apartment across the hall from each other. Thank you to the staff for taking care of both of them. It makes our life stress free not having to worry about them.

Mom and Pop moved in 3 years ago and I can tell you as a family member this place treats our folks very well. They are there for anything they may need and never seem bothered by the request. Everyone from the director to the care givers, and all other positions, they are loving and caring people. The food is great. There are lots and lots of activities if they choose to participate and a really nice section of books for grandpa to choose from in the library.

Sue and the entire staff made a difficult time for our family easier with their patience, understanding, and excellent communication. We knew moving my MIL into Memory Way was the best decision but it was challenging to officially make the decision. We have felt comforted knowing that shes in amazing hands, especially during such a crazy time in the world! My mom has been a resident at Magnolia Springs East now for the past 15 months. After living in a small town in SD the past 90 years of her life, she definitely thinks of this retirement home as her home away from home. All employees go above and beyond and get to know the residents personally! We just moved our almost 89 year old mother with dementia to MS Memory Care Unit. My siblings and I were very nervous about it. The staff has been a delight. They truly care about their residents. Always lots to do. In hind site we wish we wouldve done this 4 years ago when we started seeing signs so the transition wouldnt have been so difficult on her. God bless this facility and all of the people who care about our loved ones.

My mother is in the memory care unit at Magnolia Springs East and my brother and I could not be more pleased. There are a lot of activities for her to participate in and the food is wonderful. I have yet to meet a staff member that isnt fantastic.

The folks there were wonderful angels in getting my mother out of a very difficult situation and into a beautiful place with friendly and loving people who have cared very well for her. We are grateful to everyone from the cheerful personal caregivers to the chef and all the folks that make meal times tasty and inviting. Everyone is so sweet and they offer lots of options for fun things to do each day. I dont know what we would do without this group of loving and kind people.
