This was a very short notice move-in for my father and I was very fortunate to find The Legacy so quickly. Everything went seamlessly, especially for such difficult decisions. The executive staff is amazing and more importantly, the aid staff seems to wonderful so far. The facility is extremely clean and activities are non stop. In the 6 days I spent there( many hours day and night) getting my dad situated, I became very friendly with the residents. and all …all of them love the place where they are, and I heard nothing negative from therm. I am grateful and comforted by this first week experience.

The Legacy at Cimarron is a spectacular living facility specifically designed to help senior citizens transition into assisted living. Last year, my mother (90 years old) had to enter into assisted living due to physical disabilities beyond her control. She is a very independent woman and this was difficult for her. One year later, she is thriving in physical, mental, and emotional health! Everyone works with her to help her keep her independence and dignity while she has to accept "help" for some personal needs. Just this past month, my mother-in-law (91 1/2 years old) needed to enter assisted living to ensure she had more nutritional meals, help taking medicine, and more interaction with people. She (also) wasn't wanting to leave her home and worried about her cat. Well, she is allowed to have her cat and everyone is helping her transition into the Legacy. Both the Mom and the cat are thriving and happier than ever! The peace of mind that our loved ones are being cared for by attentive care givers that truly like their jobs and helping senior citizens live a full and active life is priceless. The Legacy at Cimarron has been an answer to prayers because our "Moms" are precious to us and we want them to be happy and safe. We had to realize that we couldn't provide them with the care they needed each and every day 24 hours round the clock. The Legacy gives this care and keeps us informed about everything concerning our "Moms". The Legacy is "top notch" and every single person working within the establishment is helpful and kind. We thank God for being able to have our "Moms" living at the Legacy at Cimarron!

Just moved my father-in-law into Legacy. We've had the best experience with all of the many staff members we've interacted with—super helpful, proactive, and welcoming. The physical facility is newer and lovely, with a hotel-like feel. There are many activities for the residents every day. Father-in-law is very pleased with his new home.

I spent weeks researching Assisted Living facilities before selecting Legacy at Cimarron for a loved one. Legacy has a terrific selection of activities for their residents, including outing within the community. Legacy is clean, has great food and, most importantly, a caring and friendly staff who is dedicated to enriching the resident's last years of their lives. Legacy is such a terrific place a short review such as this one does not do Legacy and its caring team justice.

The hardest decision a child will ever make is realizing that your mother or father needs special, round-the-clock care that you are no longer able to provide. Both of my parents are in assisted living here. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. Medications are given on time and maintained. I feel safe and secure with the frequent checks they do on my parents. The rooms are modern and kept amazingly clean. The Legacy at Cimarron has been life-changing for us. We truly consider each staff member part of our family. I spend some time almost every day there and am always impressed with the care, attention, and respect that every resident is given. Instead of sitting in an office, Jacob can be found at activities, serving meals, talking with residents and always available for families. Carola, Robin, April, and Eddie are a tight-knit team that makes sure all of the residents are not just living, but thriving. Benessa, Ana, and Sarai and the rest of the medical staff stay in constant contact with us and have been right by our side from every day care decisions to medical emergencies. The decision to move a loved one into assisted living can be a hard one. The Legacy at Cimarron takes away all of the doubts and fears and provides a family-style environment with lots of smiles and love; a wonderful place for our Mom to call home.

Words cannot express how much I appreciate the love and attention that The Legacy at Cimarron showered on my mom throughout the last 5 years of her life. Jacob and Robin and the rest of the staff consistently made Mom feel like a queen; she made friends, stayed busy, and was always treated like "a celebrity." I was especially impressed with The Legacy's smooth management of the COVID situation: the team there was always appropriately cautious without ever losing their cheerfulness or compassion. My husband has dementia and has been a resident of The Legacy for 3 1/2 years, which included the Covid quarantine year. When visits were allowed again I was so pleased to see him looking the same! His physical appearance told me his care had been A+. The staff has so much patience with the residents and concern for them. The front staff treats us as though we are friends and family. My Mother has been living at the Legacy since November. Our family has never been so impressed with a facility. The on-site manager takes every opportunity to make sure that the residents are completely taken care of. Jacob is always there to listen. To be honest the rest of the staff takes very good care of my mom and everyone else who calls the Legacy “home”. My mother loves the staff, the activities, her beautiful apartment, the wide variety of meals offered and the way every single day is celebrated as well as the holidays. I wish that all senior citizens could be treated with the dignity and respect that my mom receives every day.

Always available when and if I have any questions. My mother has been a resident at The Legacy for 3 years. It is a growing community of residents and staff. The concept of The Legacy is very different from other assisted living places. There are actually independent people living there as well. Many of the residents had to leave their home and sell their home to be there. It is important to make them feel as comfortable as possible. No place is perfect, but Jacob and most of the staff members do their best to tend to the care and needs of the residents. I have experience working on clients and patients in various assisted living and nursing homes and the people at The Legacy actually do their best to treat everyone with respect. It is hard work to care for the elderly and it takes special people to do it. Some will be able to handle it and others will not. Covid has 10x'd the stress level on everyone, so I want to commend everyone at The Legacy for managing to create a positive environment for the residents despite all the Covid setbacks. Thank you for creating so many creative activities, exercises and outings! Thank you for all the hard work!

I couldn't be more proud of the entire team at Legacy. From day one being introduced to Robin, Benessa, Carola, Sherry and so many others I was extremely impressed. They made a difficult decision I was making on where to move my grandmother much easier after a poor experience I had with another facility in El Paso. The cleanliness, housekeeping and polish of Legacy is consistent and in my opinion the best you will find in El Paso. Every single team has demonstrated the utmost compassion and highest levels of quality care for my grandmother and all residents. They have also reached out to me personally and directly on occasion just to check in on me to see how I was doing to add a personal touch. Thanks Benessa! A couple folks I want to also recognize are Kevin one of the waiters, Anna one of the Med-Techs as well as Elvira. They have all been so responsive to my grandmother and have really built a trusted relationship with me. They keep me posted on how things are going regularly at every visit. Can't speak highly enough to their utmost integrity, passion and dedication to their residents and to the families of residents. Their line of work is a calling, their drive and hard work to exceed expectations has been extremely recognizable. I want to say a huge thanks and especially recognize Kevin the waiter for the extra special attention he has given my grandma at mealtimes. Mealtime is about all my grandmother enjoys and mealtime has historically been a one of the things she has enjoyed in life the most. It's her biggest social outlet and excellent service has always been a big deal for her. I've observed and know that Kevin is a team player among his peers. He is a boots on the ground kind of guy that gives it his all everyday. Thank you ALL for EVERYTHING you do to support, care for, and love your residents. I know you all feel as though they are truly part of your extended family and it shows. Thank you!

My mother who just recently passed away lived at the Legacy for 5 years since its opening. Throughout her stay, the team, (through COVID) bent over backwards to accommodate her level of care throughout those 5 years. She lived independently for the first few, then as she progressively declined in health, they were able to adjust their care levels to meet her needs. The team were protective of her and were so loving and made her feel like she was the special lady she was. As a family member, I appreciated their high level of care, compassion, enthusiastic atmosphere and the many activities they did even throughout COVID which was extremely challenging. I would highly recommend the Legacy to anyone looking for a safe, loving place for their loved one. When we moved near El Paso a year ago, we wanted Dad to be near us. So, we began a search that included a dozen or so assisted living facilities in this area. A friend of a friend suggested Legacy at Cimarron. We visited here 3 times before signing Dad up and, each time, we liked it even more than the last. Yes, it's clean, serves good food, has a variety of activities to occupy Dad's days and, in general, is a beautiful facility but, more than that, we found that the people who work here really know and love the residents. EVERYONE knows my dad by name and goes out of his/her way to make him feel at home and comfortable. He is content and even happy to be living here. He often says, "This is a good place to call home." When/if problems arise, we always get a phone call explaining what is happening and how it's going to be remedied. We are never left alone to wonder what we should do next. Our experience with Legacy has led us to trust these folks with Dad's care. Things always run smoothly under the watchful eye of the executive director, Jacob Boggs. Legacy is truly a Godsend for us.
