Our experience with the care and compassion of the staff at Morning Star has been impressive. I especially want to commend Denise, Leslie, Lily, Joshua, Brie, Areceli, Alicia and Danielle. They have always been so kind and have exceeded expectations. I want to thank everyone at Morning Star. The food is very good, so I also commend the chefs. I know that this experience is also a reflection on management, good people stay when management creates a culture that supports them. Thanks to Trish, Rusty and Tyler!

Morning Star Rio Rancho is an absolutely beautiful facility with such lovely, caring and very competent employees and care givers. The food is top notch and the flexibility of the menu and restaurant is second to none - restaurant style open 6am-6pm. I highly recommend Morning Star Rio Rancho for your loved ones!

Morningstar is a very wonderful place. My husband was in hospice there from 8/1/24 to 10/2/24. A very gracious and loving place for him. He received 24 hour care. The workers fed him and made sure he was clean at all times. He was completely bedridden and could not get out of bed by himself. This facility has private rooms. One person per room. My hubby passed away on October 2, 2024. The hospice nurses and staff gave him all of his medication also. Morningstar has a chaplain who visits also. Hospice is on the second floor of Morningstar. A very very great facility. There is also WiFi.

Although the staff seemed to care, there were times when I made a surprise visit. My loved one was in memory care and when I walked into her room it smelled like feces. my loved one had been in the hospital after falling and needing surgery for a broken hip. The feces had been there for quite a while. The head of memory care told me he forgot to lock the door and another resident probably walked in and used the toilet. Although the staff seemed to care while I was there I question if they truly did when I wasn’t there.

We’re considering the different possibilities of living situations and took a tour of this facility. Beautiful grounds & building, with plenty of parking available. Although the cost to reside here is prohibitively expensive, the facility does offer exceptional service. Major hiccup is that there is absolutely zero covered parking and zero garages for the residents. (I would normally downgrade my rating due to the lack of covered/garage parking, but this facility does have a vehicle to take residents out & about.) The only actual employee that took us around the facility, Leeanae Montoya, was exceptional and very knowledgeable about the facility. Additionally, Ms Montoya provided us with information regarding assistance that is available for Veterans, which we did not have any knowledge about, and for that, we are extremely grateful. Even though we were quite early for our scheduled visit, Ms Montoya never hesitated to make us feel welcomed, displayed exceptional professional courtesy and made us feel very relaxed during our tour; she is definitely an excellent asset for this facility.

The moment I walked into Morningstar for my tour I felt at home. The residents were enjoying themselves and everyone was friendly. This facility was decorated beautifully. A week and a half later my mom moved in and is very happy there! Thank you MorningStar.

Looking for a nice room for a dear family friend and loved the atmosphere and friendliness of employees. Tyler, gave the grandest tour and answered any and all questions I had with a smile on his face! The community is incredible and I highly recommend to whomever is interested!

My 5 star rating is for the ambiance regarding the facility. It's a very clean facility and very tastefully decorated. We just moved my Mother in recently so it's too early to comment regarding services. I will say the front desk receptionist who's name is Lori, was very helpful regarding the move. She was very professional, went out of her way to make sure things were taken care of in the apartment that had not been addressed.

This place Can be quite expensive depending on what level of care your loved one requires. They are new and do not have a large number of residents yet so the care giver to resident ratio is excellent.The staff is superb!

We moved my husband's mother into Moringstar Rio Rancho in January 2020. This was a difficult but necessary decision. We could not be more pleased with the care, attention, and love that she receives here. I went through this process a number of years ago with my mother, so I have that experience and that of friends to compare. Honestly, my view is that all facilities have activities like bingo. All facilities have decor and the basic services. What really matters is the CARE that you get. That is what you need so that you don't have to worry. The staff at Morningstar Rio Rancho are so incredibly caring - not just meeting her needs but actually CARING - from the directors to the facilities workers. I'll give an example. We were in the activities room. There were two other residents at different tables doing solitary activities. The facilities/maintenance worker noticed as he was walking by that one of the residents was having difficulty with his wheelchair. He rushed over, and with the gentlest and kindest tone offered to help him. He then checked with the other resident and asked if they were ready to go back to their rooms. So he took them. But not before stopping to give my mother in law a hug and speaking sweetly to her and calling her by name. I can not recommend this place highly enough. I would give more stars if I could.

Our family has been very happy with the experience of transitioning our loved one to MorningStar and the top notch service we have received had since her arrival. We could not ask for more from the team at MorningStar and look forward to the years to come working with them.

MorningStar Rio Rancho is one of the most beautiful senior living facilities I've ever seen! With wonderful amenities that ensure an excellent quality of life, I can see why seniors are choosing MorningStar to be their place of residency.
