Thank you Rikki, Patty, Maria, Alyssa, Sarah, Lou l, Connie, and the entire Brookdale team for making my mom's 2 1/2 year stay in memory care so comfortable and such a great experience. She thoroughly enjoyed the social interaction and planned activities. Having all of her needs cared for, and having you there to help coordinate medical and external appointments made my life much easier as a caregiver.

Excellent facility! My 92-year-old mother is happy here, likes her room and even says the food is good! The staff seem to genuinely care for her and treat her with compassion and respect, like they would their own grandmother. All the staff, the executive director, med techs, housekeepers, and maintenance all seem to care about the facility, the residents, and each other. They have a hard job and do it well and with grace.

This is a beautiful community, with loving and caring staff. The department heads work as a team and there is amazing longevity amongst their staff that you don't find in the newer communities. The business office manager, the Clare Bridge program manager, several caregivers and med techs have all been there more than 15 years. The dining manager has completely revamped the quality of the food in the last 2 years since he was hired, and the food is AMAZING!! The department heads and the staff all have servant hearts.

I always feel welcome when I visit my Tia. The staff is really gentle with her, and the nurses are knowledgeable. My Tia likes the food a lot. This is a great place!

My father has been living at this facility since Dec 2021, I cannot express enough how blessed we are that daddy calls it home. Thank you ladies that work upfront that consistently take care of all those elders with whatever issues that might arise -they tackle it one by one. Selecting an assisted living facility, especially when specialized memory care assistance is needed, is an extremely important decision for everyone involved. We looked into many specialized care facilities, interviewed staff members and analyzed all of the services at each facility. At the end of that detailed process, it was very clear to us that the Brookdale Kingsley facility was superior in all ways to other facilities in our area. Our Mother has been a resident of the Brookdale Kingsley facility now for more than a year and we continue to be extremely pleased with how Mom is treated like a family member by all of the staff there and her level of care is excellent. In summary, we are very, very happy and comforted by our choice of the Brookdale Kingsley facility and its wonderful staff. We highly recommend that all interested persons visit the Brookdale Kingsley facility to speak with the staff and residents there.

The last 2 years, the staff has worked hard to keep all the residents safe by providing social distancing, vaccines and a sanitary living conditions. Overall, the staff is caring, involved and interacting with the residents. Keep up the good work.

One of the hardest things I've EVER had to do was to leave my husband, of 38 years, in a nursing facility. He started off in the Assisted Living section mainly because I believe I was in denial of his condition. Thought he could do so much more for himself. But just after a whirlwind 3-4 weeks, it was obvious he needed much more assistance than I realized. So, off we went to the Memory Care section. Best move EVER. Can't say the care is "better" in this part of the facility, but because he is in Memory Care he receives a lot more immediate care and attention. It's not the cheapest place, but then the old saying is true - you get what you pay for! I'm happy we chose Brookdale for him - guess I'll end up here too someday.

The executive director of this facility is very informed and cares deeply for her staff and residents. She handles outbursts well and is amazing at enforcing the CDC rules. Most of the employees have a good work ethic and care about your family. I would absolutely recommend sending your parents or grandparents here if you are looking for a facility.

Our mother lived here until passing in April. She had lived in another facility before this and we always say we wish we had found this place sooner. Mother, my sisters and I could not have received better, more personal care. Mother saw one or all of us daily and since we spent a lot of time there we are very familiar with how Kingsley operates. Somehow, with all the residents and the business of running the place, they know each resident personally and always have times for hugs, a laugh and any help they can be. There were never any issues with her medicines being given correctly which was a constant problem we had with her prior residence. Kingsley is very efficient, clean, the food is good and the rooms are nice. The one thing that makes this place so highly regarded by our family is that they care for their residences as if they were their own family. We miss our Mother but our other loss is not seeing the people who work there. They brightened our days as well and we miss them.The staff were great and we miss them.

This is a very friendly community. Great services, awesome staffs,,, the leader ship, they are getting there, but not quite yet, or should I say that they are so, so,,,,,Anyways, some of the few important things are; the staffs do care about their residents. The girls at the front desk, Lou, and her co-workers, are all excellent workers, which in my own opinion is very rare to find. Nevertheless whatever we say, Brookdale will always be Brookdale,,,,long live Brookdale, and long live America

My mother was at Brookdale Kingsley for about 3 years. I liked the medical center location & the excellent clinical focused staff who helped with medicines and who could recommend higher levels of care when needed. The staff was caring and friendly. I would recommend this facility.

The staff (most of them) were awesome. They took care of my daddy and he loves them. At the end Brookdale Hospice was not so great. Also when my Dad passed no one called to offer these condolences. When I was packing daddys things and was leaving one of the head ladies yelled out what was ur dads room number? She wanted to show a potential client the room. They could have at least waited until I walked around the corner. Just made me feel like another number.

Miracle workers in the memory care unit!! They got my mother out of bed and walking after suffering a broken hip and some rehab. Monica, Esther, Mayra, Holly and Janie are incredible with all the residents in the memory care unit! Im so Thankful for their hard work, careing and fun loving spirits! I have been blessed to watch them in action all during my spring break from work, amazing!! They have put new spirit, joy and a zest for life in my mom! Ladies, I will be forever grateful for the care you give all the residents in the memory care unit! God bless each and every one of you! I cant say enough wonderful things about them, finally after 4 years, my mother is in a place where the care is the best I have see in San Antonio!

I love working at Brookdale kingsley. The Residents here are awesome. I enjoy the many different activities for the residents & their families. Our residents love Happy Hour on Fridays, Bingo, arts & crafts, exercising, and much more. They also enjoy the music during lunch & dinner. I wouldnt want to work any where else.
