West Fork has been such a breath of fresh air for our family as we transitioned my grandparents from another facility! My grandma is in the Assisted Living side and my grandfather is in Memory Care. I have had my parents in an assisted living place for a year and a half, and not happy with their care. We toured West Fork at Weatherford and said this is their forever home. We decided to separate them and put mom on the assisted living side and dad in the memory care side. We decided to put cameras up and I mean after the first night watching how the care givers talked to Bobby and had so much compassion and care for him, I knew we were in the right place. My parents just spent their 4th night at West Fork and I can't be more pleased with the care he is receiving. My parents deserve to live out the rest of their life being loved and cared for in the right way and West Fork care givers are top notch. I just can not express how excited my family is to not have to worry or be concerned on the care my parents receive at West Fork. You truly have a wonderful facility with a lot of activities and great care

I can't express nothing short of the highest praises for the compassion and care shown to the residents by the wonderful staff at West Fork. The facility is kept pristine and tidy, and I was also impressed by the warm welcomes from everyone when I toured the facility. I highly recommend bringing your loved ones to visit this home away from home.

Recently moved my mother to West Fork (4 months ago) and she is doing wonderfully, much better than when she was living alone. Her demeanor and physical/mental health have also improved through all the various activities and social interactions that West Fork offers. She was a bit hesitant at first, but is very happy now, and always talking about how good the food is. Lots of open space, a clean facility, well maintained inside and out. She also has her dog with her that has been warmly welcomed as well. They have enclosed courtyards for the residents to sit outside and their pets use also. The staff at West Fork have been awesome and very helpful if anything comes up. As expected, the process of moving in (called the intake) is lots of paperwork and the administration will go out of there way to make it as smooth possible. They are always available to answer questions or troubleshoot any problems that may arise. Lots of smiles all around by the staff. It's always a pleasure to visit there knowing that I will always encounter friendly staff and that my mother is being taken care of in a healthy and professional manner. It would be a place I would like to go to when it's time for me to do so, especially for the food and ambience. ~~ Dr. Steve Wood

I went here this morning for a job interview and this place is so nice. They have a movie room, a beauty shop, you name it. I saw the residents playing games and they were all so happy. It seemed like such a nice place and so clean

My Grandmother is a resident at west fork. My time visiting has been met with smiles and comfort. My grandmother has opportunities to socialize and branch out, creating friendships with the other residents. My mother just moved to Texas from Florida and I needed to find an assisted living center close by. I WAS and AM so impressed with this place! Everyone of the staff members are truly courteous and Texas friendly! All of the residents my mom and I have interacted with have been so friendly and truly seem happy living there. The place is spacious and open and offers so many activities to keep everyone active and happy. I feel truly blessed that I found Westfork and I’m sure my moms last chapter of her life will be one of love and happiness and friendship. Thanks to all I have dealt with getting my mom situated ! My wife, Emily Harrell, is now living in The Cottage at West Fork. I am thrilled that our personal caregiver knew of this facility and directed us here. The entire staff is wonderful and the care is much better compared to a facility in Fort Worth. When my wife and I checked out West Fork at Weatherford as they were opening up late 2019, we were very impressed with what we found and saw. Now one year after bringing my mother in to live and enjoy the many benefits that West Fork offers, it is still the wonderful place we first discovered. Even after Covid hit and changed everyones world, the leadership and staff at West Fork stepped up and ensured that health, safety, cleanliness, and all aspects of senior care were followed with the residents concerns first and foremost. High standards were set and followed, and never waivered. I can tell you that the staff there genuinely and sincerely care about my mother and the other residents. Many many times they have gone the extra mile to take care of the needs of their residents. They treat them all like family. And they are great with working closely with the family members of each resident. If something happens, I get a call right away. They have never let my mother down. The facility and the rooms are cleaned very well, meals are served to fit the residents needs, the building is well maintained, and activities well planned to fit the residents needs as well. All of this creating a well rounded home for your loved one. The leadership are super in communicating with me. They keep me informed on all aspects of my mothers care. As far as health concerns, the medical leadership and staff are some of the best I have ever worked with. I should know because I used to sell medical equipment to senior care facilities and have seen a lot. I can tell from first hand experience that the medical staff go the extra mile to ensure quality healthcare. Very high quality care. I have said a lot in this review, but I believe it is important for all who are looking for a high quality senior care facility to know about West Fork at Weatherford.........you will not be disappointed, and your loved one will be very happy here. My mother loves this place.

It was such an honor to work for this company. Unfortunately I left due to all the COVID cases in the building as I have to protect my family. I will truly miss everyone. The residents were nothing but kind I built a relationship with many of them and as for the staff I made some good friendships with some of the wonderful women there.

I moved into West Fork in January 6, 2020 to start a new phase of my like. I had been married 63 years to a wonderful husband and my three boys could not have ask for a better man to be their dad. I knew it was a new road I was going to travel and I felt God help me choose West Fork Assisted Living to begin my new journey. It has been nearly 9 months now and I have nothing to say only that this home I now live in is a fantastic place to be. We are cared for like royalty. It has been a hard year in some respects but each has been handled with care and love by the staff. First we had the Covid-19 virus. We were protected from day one and went through the time without one case of the flu. They, the staff and management handled each family member making it possible to talk with them through glass windows or doors so we continued to be connected with our love ones. Yes, we were in quarantine, but we were free to walk in the halls, do our hobbies, meet and greet each other with distance and mask. Have you ever been mad at a mask. I have. I am on oxygen continuously but sometimes one of the staff will see Im not using it and reminds me to put the oxygen on and the mask. I do because I know it is for my good. We are greeted with a smile as they help us with all our medications. Once a week they clean our rooms throughly from top to bottom. They serve our food in style. I hear a few complaints but when I was the cook at home, I too had a few mishaps. It happens very seldom her and I dont have to wash the dishes. I know this is long but I want you to know this is a home that sees to the needs of people our West Fork family. We are happy here. I have a little dog named Missy that will soon be 6 years old that lives with me and I sew as a hobby. I get excited when I please someone with a small gift for doing a supper job. I think the rules say we should not do this but it is one of the rules I choose to break. They just smile and let me do it. We have a wonderful staff but I know by now you understand that this is a place to be when you are ready to let someone else worry about the cooking, cleaning, and I might add they even do our washing if we choose.. Oh yes., this is a grand place and I praise our God for finding it for me. Just a little update. Here it is October the 2nd and I am about to embark on the 10th month I have been at West Fork. As you know I love it here and am so proud to be a part of the residents lives. Oh how grateful I am that I have found West Fork. I know it was a God thing. A place that I can in my later years still grow and enjoy the life I have found. God I thank you for this. I thank you for the entire staff and the joys we share. The good times, when everyone is well and happy, the activities, the food and the time to visit after a long day and most of mine are short. Do you know I dont even have to take the trash out. My time is short today and I must hurry to devotional and exercise. Then I will spend time sewing on a quilt for a man with cancer. Thank you West Fork for making my days useful and full filling. . West Fork has been the biggest blessing to my mother and to our family. Every evening when I talk to my mom, she tells me how much she loves the place, the people, and the activities. All of these components create a culture of sincere caring and attention to detail. The admin staff encourages the family to be involved and welcomes both praise and critique, always with an eye to improving the experience. The care givers take the time to genuinely connect to the residents, making daily tasks and routines enjoyable. They make my mom smile, laugh, think, and engage her mind with authentic interaction; they care enough to get to know her not just go through the motions. Covid shutdown has been difficult, but the piece of mind West Fork provides reduces everyones stress. Having a staff that listens to her, listens to my concerns, and offer sincere solutions and suggestions is priceless. Thank you, West Fork. There are two sides to every story no matter how devastating the outcome, but placing blame happens when hurting. Im thinking if that had happened, I would have reacted immediately--no excuses. I offer a contrasting view.
