The staff is fantastic and really seem to care about the residents and their needs. They conduct a variety of enrichment activities and host a weekly happy hour including entertainment! There is plenty of outdoor space , a library, piano room, caf© room, billiards room and movie room. Worth looking into if you are in need of an assisted living facility.

The facility itself is spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. More importantly, the staff are attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. Making the decision to move a loved one to an Assisted Living facility is always difficult and overwhelming. They understand how difficult it is to make the decision for the spouse and family. I have to say that Adrian the Sales Director, Michael the Director of Nursing and Lola the Executive Director made our decision a little easier. The way the residents are cared for, the way our family has been treated- we could not have asked for a better place for my Mom. They go out of their way to ensure that if my Dad has any questions or concerns, they are addressed, that he is doing ok, his spirits are up. Pete the Director of Building Services goes out of his way to talk to Dad and make his day. Lisa the Director of Activities has so many fun things going on to keep everyone busy and active. The grounds are beautiful, the building is clean, the staff is always cheerful, smiling and willing to assist. Even though this has been a very difficult decision, a difficult transition, the Goldton at St. Pete has been a Godsend to my family and we couldn't ask for a more loving group to care for my Mom. Everyday we are reminded by the actions of these people and this place that we made the best decision we could have made for the care of my Mom. It's easier for to sleep at night knowing Mom has the best care around!

To find a clean and bright place in st pete is very hard. My grandmother is Accumulating to her new surroundings. This transition has been made easy by all the people helping with this journey!

Some of the residents here seem happy, which is the only reason I am giving it 2 stars. Main hallway by the memory unit smells like urine. That was my first really bad sign. If I worked here, I would be sniffing out the culprit and having them change immediately. Secondly, the night staff is very unconcerned. Watched 2 of the nightshift girls smoke weed in a vehicle. Watched another worker return on the same trip back to my car thumping derogatory music so loudly my own windows were rattling. Dayshift workers seem really nice - they interact with the residents, dance, and have everyone smiling. That's the only reason I am not calling and complaining but I would really hate to see the night shift's hoodlum habits slip into the day workers. Please fix your night staff. Please drug test your employees regularly if they are working around the elderly and their valuables. And for the love of God, the parking lot is not a nightclub or a dispensary.

Daytime care is okay, with lots of activities. Nighttime and weekend coverages, however, is non-existent. I walked around and around just trying to find a person on a Saturday afternoon. I called in the early evenings and weekend and no one answered on multiple occasions.

I wanted to take the time to tell you how thrilled I am with Mom's transition into Goldton in the first month! She seems to be settled in, complimentary of the staff, food, enjoying activities and making friends! The fountain and repainted gazebo are beautiful, we enjoyed it Saturday when I visited. This is one of the best communities around. I moved my mother in and have been nothing but impressed since. From Christina making me feel comfortable to Doreen giving me her personal number to reach out to with any questions. Dustin has truly been a leader throughout everything and let us know exactly what to expect and has been accessible anytime we needed him, day or night. Despite the Covid impact and lack of things they are able to do, my mom has been well taken care of, made some new friends, and is happy. If you’re considering moving a loved one, make sure you check out Bloom, my experience has been amazing. This is a top notch team that operates a beautiful community.

This community is truly one of the best in Pinellas County. They are very caring and compassionate for not only their residents but their staff. When they say it starts from the top that could not be a more accurate statement for this community. Their administrator Dustin is truly passionate about the care the residents receive and taking care of his staff. He has taken on so many roles during this unusual time that we are in, while still smiling and being a positive influence for those he serves. If you’re seeing this don’t forget those who are serving your loved ones and the love ones of our Pinellas County Community. Kindness goes a long way.

Bloom is the best kept secret in St. Pete. The staff is caring and work hard to accommodate the residents individual needs. With it's current administration, Bloom has evolved into a comfortable, fun place to be. Their professionalism is outstanding. There have been many improvements made. We have several friends, who have family there, along with former neighbors, so we are frequent visitors there. It's clean and the dining room is bright and light.(the food is great!) The residents are happy and friendly.

It was a hard transition for him, but everyone is so helpful, and make him feel at home. The food is delicious; have enjoyed many good meals there with my dad. My mother has recently moved into Bloom and she has been taken care of like she were their own family member. They are in communication with me (next of kin) and go above and beyond other facilities. I have a close friend whose brother is a resident and he has been well taken care of there as well. Both of our family members require special care and these folks provide special care! I toured this community recently for my mother. It was beautiful from the moment I arrived. I met with Justin and he did an excellent job showing me around and informing me about the Bloom philosophy and answering all my questions. All of the residents seemed so happy and a couple of them even came up to introduce themselves. The administrator also came out to introduce himself and welcome me to their facility. When my mom is ready to move into a community, it will be this one.
